AVOID AT ALL COST
If I could no stars I would, absolutely terrible company to deal with, customer service is non existent, went 5 weeks without any internet & after numerous calls to sort out eventually service was sorted and a credit raised that they have now taken from me saying it is an outstanding balance!. All the staff are completely inefficient & technical department do not know what they are talking about. I was basically conned into have a new router which I didn't need & in doing so I was then stuck in another 2 year contract, basically they lied

LIES AND INCOMPETENCE
have had them at work for years and pretty good but on changing from BT to Kinex at home i was promised same service at a cheaper rate but i got NO SERVICE on land line and poor internet for over 3 weeks and a bill for a engineer call out which they asked for and which did no good .I have spent 9 plus hours trying to get a result from them and all i get is LIES and NO help .. AVOID them for your own sanity complete waste of time and effort

Awful service
Having been with Kinex for a few years now .. I did not want to believe the bad reviews but I have to now agree. Terrible terrible service.. 5 mails, several attempted phone calls. I actually chatted to a lady 4 weeks ago,when they said they would respond within the day but to no avail!.. I have now cancelled our direct debit to get someone to call me. Electricity rate killing our business and trying to cancel phone contract

Appalling company - don't listen, don't care, just harassment
Appallingly poor communications. I explained my situation so many times - I am landlord of a vacant property and the kinex contract was agreed by the old tenant. There is no need for any power but the bills kept coming. I tried to switch supplier but kinex obstructed the process. My partner intervened because of the effect on my mental health but there was no change. Phonecalls were cut off or failed to connect. emails went unanswered. Kinex sent bills and letters to the empty property despite having my correct contact details. I finally paid them what they claimed I owed purely to stop the stress of trying to deal with them. They phoned again today! Another sales drone who hadn't read the file. I feel scammed out of hundreds of pounds.
Edit 24/10/2023 - still no reply from Kinex despite the copy-and-paste response below.
Edit 2: 7/11/2023 - one day after sending a revised bill, which I paid wtihin a week, they sent collectors round to the empty property and they are now trying to bill me for that "service". Who (or what) wrote the 5-star reviews for kinex? And can I have some of what they're taking please?
Edit: 6/12/2023 - only after involving the Energy Ombudsman did kinex withdraw their charges, and they took their time doing it. No apology, no acknowledgement of my other complaints, no hurry. Dear god what a dreadful company.

Awful service
Awful service. My business internet services are down for over a week now. After multiple calls we still don't have internet. It has started to affect my business seriously. The staff is unhelpful, poor customer service. No one understands the urgency and criticality and I have no idea when the services will resume. I am going to complain to ofgem and urge everyone to avoid this company.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
Awful company to deal with - can't be trusted - would strongly recommend that anyone avoids them! Worst customer service i've ever received from an energy provider. They over complicate the bills to try and confuse you in to paying, they repeatedly over charge you at every opportunity.
A completely corrupt company who i've had to report to OFGEM.
They won't resolve my query because they want to keep incurring wildly high standing charges whilst preventing me from leaving.

My business closed almost a year ago
My business closed almost a year ago, the building remains empty but kinnex won't stop billing me and blocked the business closure on companies house.
They got in touch as soon as the direct debit was cancelled and were told it was closing down I've even emailed them to say this on the email address advertised and they still keep billing and adding charges for an empty property. If it wasn't bad enough being forced to close down everyone wants more and more money and kinnex haven't been any different

Patient and helpful
I started talking Benjamin Henry-Charles over 2 weeks ago and due to being so busy I quite often had to ask him to phone me back and each time he did. He has managed to get me a great deal for the WiFi and landline. A true gentleman and so easy to work with. Thanks for all your help.

Absolutely awful company!
Badly trained staff! Held on answer phone for hours just waiting to talk to someone! Poor communication and poorly trained staff.
I initially took out what I thought was a 2 year broadband contract with this company for my home and cafe thinking it would cheaper to combine both only to find they extended the contract to 3 years without my permission. I was initially charged around £50pm for both. They then without my permission and for no valid reason increased this to over £100pm taking payments via direct debit. They told me the government was forcing everyone to have 5g and that all lines will be 5g. I disputed this. One of the many lies and deception techniques they use to ensnare customers. Avoid this company! They are terrible! The service is totally unacceptable.
I sold my cafe and ceased trading and requested they disconnect the broadband. They ask me to fill in their online form which I did giving them proof of ceased trading. I was charged over £1,000 early termination fees via direct debit which I now expect to be returned to me in full. My solicitor has written to them. I am still waiting for the refund. This company needs to be reported to the Ombudsman. I have done this and will expect full compensation from them in the future for my time wasted and constant connection problems!
