To much KPI speak. The education would benefit from using less.

The promo video indicated the income that can be generated from kpi. As I learn more about the process I get the distinct feeling that it was exaggerated and is much more difficult than indicated in the video to earn a decent income

Sono un autore indipendente e ho avuto un'esperienza a dir poco catastrofica con Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Dopo aver dedicato tempo e impegno alla scrittura e pubblicazione dei miei libri, il mio account è stato improvvisamente e inspiegabilmente bloccato, e, cosa ancora più grave, tutti i miei guadagni residui sono stati trattenuti.

La cosa più frustrante è la totale mancanza di trasparenza e chiarezza da parte di Amazon. Nonostante le mie ripetute richieste di spiegazioni dettagliate, ho ricevuto solo risposte generiche e vaghe. Mi hanno parlato di "controlli di qualità falliti" o "reclami dei clienti", ma si sono sempre rifiutati di fornirmi:

I titoli specifici dei libri che avrebbero violato le loro fantomatiche regole.
Le prove concrete di queste violazioni, come difetti di formattazione o dettagli sui reclami.
Le precise clausole del loro regolamento che sarebbero state infrante.
Hanno persino bloccato i miei ultimi lavori, incluso il libro "Leone XIV. Che cosa ci aspetta?", un testo assolutamente non offensivo e rispettoso, senza darmi alcuna motivazione. La loro ultima comunicazione è stata un muro di gomma, affermando di non essere in grado di fornire ulteriori informazioni oltre a quelle generiche.

Questo comportamento non è solo frustrante, è inammissibile. Amazon sta abusando della sua posizione dominante, bloccando i guadagni che mi spettano per diritto e impedendomi di lavorare, senza fornire una singola prova a sostegno delle loro accuse. È una pratica commerciale scorretta che danneggia gravemente gli autori indipendenti che ripongono fiducia nella loro piattaforma.

Sono stato costretto a rivolgermi a organizzazioni esterne specializzate nella tutela degli utenti commerciali per far valere i miei diritti. Se stai pensando di pubblicare con KDP, riflettici bene. Potresti trovarti, come me, con un account bloccato, soldi trattenuti e nessuna spiegazione, alla mercé di un sistema opaco e ingiusto. La mia esperienza è un avvertimento serio per tutti gli autori.

While the training modules were excellent, the ability to actually make income through publishing is very very limited. We did everything we were supposed to yet were unable to make any income. We contacted them to obtain a refund and we’re told we were 28 days outside the period within which a refund could be issued. It is impossible to publish a book in six months. We worked as quickly as possible. be wary that you can make money in publishing.

I am so much proud and exited about all the digital items such as laptops, smart phones, smart watches and many more you name it, in which makes the contract that I got it from the company. I really wanted the good digital items did the basics, and the site which I recommended was the one that thick all the boxes. Talking with the customer service team help me to get the thing that I was looking for.

The only reason that changed my mine by not to give five (5) stars is the fact that I had to differently choose the cash back deal that offered, rather than it being automatic, and shims like this information doesn't stated/printed anywhere.

I am still in the learning process and haven't actually started Publishing yet. However, so far the training has been really good. Unfortunately, the coaching is at 11pm my time, which makes it difficult to attend, but I believe they do record them.

Bought this as a joint venture with my husband as he had first seen Sophie's advert a few years before I did. I had been looking for another way to make an income more passively and after attempting a look at digital marketing, I bought the course. I would say, it is much harder than what is advertised. There is a tonne of information to get through which is quite overwhelming, although you are paying a significant amount and that is stated at the beginning. My husband had better luck at getting to grips with the information as he was already acquainted with using AI tools to create books, but even he said there is so much to go through before you even can get started. I would say if you are wanting to buy into this, you are looking at around 3-6 months before you might get anywhere so don't think it is a get rich quick scheme. It is fair to say that Sophie does mention this but you really do not know what awaits you until you go through the videos. I did have a nice check-in call with a lady called Bonnie and she seemed very upbeat and encouraging. The one thing that I wish had been a bit more transparent was the apparent "upsale" for a crash course basically to get results quicker. After over 2 hours of a supposed "only-will-take-an-hour" phone call with a guy called Cody, he wanted an answer there and then for an even more shocking £997 a month for 13 months - I mean seriously how can anyone afford that amount of cash without getting into debt! I get that people may want to do the extra but it kind of made it feel that what I had already invested in was not good enough. I also didn't appreciate how long the phone call took rather than just cutting to the chase and saying "this is an upsale" instead we were told that we were "specially selected" to take part in a rare opportunity only to read other reviews where others have said the same thing about this. I feel a bit sad, as there were senior citizens on my group phone call who had bought this course and I worry they would not know how to navigate through it and would give up and feel a bit robbed. We will persist with the course because we have invested into it and have nearly got to creating a book, but will it become a passive income? Only time will tell...

Too expensive, you can learn just as much from YouTube videos.

Support, guidance and information given to help you succeed. I'm not computer savvy, it may take me longer to get it going but if I apply myself I feel confident I will be successful with their help.

Thanks for a great start to my new KPI business. I feel very supported and encouraged via personal coaching calls and the weekly coaching and Q&A sessions. I'm learning so much and am excited about growing a portfolio of published books. It is easy to get overwhelmed when starting, but I have been given a clear pathway and plan to follow it.

Support is great / modules are very informative / exciting course

The amount of support calls is very helpful.
How they guide you step by step what to do first then next and so on. The amount of information is incredible Not just how to publish a book but information on starting a company. What steps you need to take to start a successful business.

The Kindle Publishing Income Program has changed my life. It opened up so many opportunities to begin and continue to grow. Amazing support and education.

This is a great business program with a very helpful support team and plenty of videos and zoom coaching

I appreciate all the information and the coaching and Q&A sessions. However, keyword searches and categories are still a struggle. Having to purchase additional tools such as Publisher Rocket, without having published yet and this early in the process, is a bit too much to ask. It would be helpful if the coaches who do have PR could support in helping us do the searches for confirmation of our book topics and validation prior to publishing. The training is insightful and everyone are so helpful. I can’t believe how fast I am progressing now. I have my first book and I am refining it ready to publish
