Hayem is my trusted hair stylist. I can close my eyes and she will give the perfect hairstyle to me. She has been my hairstylist for around 3 years and every appointment with her makes me smile😊

Booked in with Heyam. Great experience, Heyams level of expertise, attention and care were wonderful. With a picky teen who loves her cut, I cannot appreciate Heyam more.

I visited Kess Manawa Bay on 27 April and was looked after by Shani, who always greets me with a warm, welcoming smile. She takes her time, offers helpful advice about my hair, and makes every visit a great experience. I went in for a regrowth colour and ended up also getting balayage for a fresh new look. I was so impressed with the results and left feeling amazing. Highly recommend Shani for her professionalism, care, and talent.

Went to Kess Manukau with a Thank You Card. At the counter before leaving the store, the senior stylist asks me what my PIN number is. I asked "Where do I find it on the card?". She grabs the card out of my hand and removes some sticky tape from it. I still haven't been told the price at this point. She asks me how much I had on the card. I didn't answer as I was stunned that she would even ask me that question before she had even told me the cost. She then proceeded to take the sticky tape off the card value. The value was $200.00 and she charged me $170.00 plus a surcharge. I've been to some top hairdressers and paid much less than that. I won't be back ever. I feel ripped off.

Went to Kess Manukau for foils. Colour was terrible. Had to go home and fix it myself. Waste ot time and money.

Sony who works at Chartwell Kess was amazing and did a thorough job. She was so efficient and showed how she cared about her work and me as a client.

am extremely disappointed with Kess Salon. I paid $270 (UK prices) for highlights and a toner, and the results were unacceptable. The highlights were not done properly, and a toner was just put over my hair to make it “look okay.” After just two weeks, my roots were showing.

I have contacted the salon three times, sent multiple pictures, and have been repeatedly fobbed off. I was told via WhatsApp that because it was “just outside the month” they could not do anything, and the receptionist said Prabeth would call — but no solution has been offered. From my photos, it’s clear the highlights were never applied close to the root, despite being told the colour would last four months.

Customer service is shocking, and the treatment is completely unacceptable for the price charged. I cannot recommend this salon.

I really liked how my hair came out with the service of Farisha. My hair feels a lot lighter thanks to her and she always made sure that I was comfortable when getting my hair washed.

Fantastic Customer Service at a very busy time of year from Kess head office in Auckland. Ordered products online from them and received in amazingly short time. Phone contact was quick and very helpful and friendly.

St Luke's Kess - Kumar cut my hair and... wow! I didn't have a specific vision for my bangs, and so he did it according to how it'd suit me! It ended up looking so amazing, and even did a blowout on them. I got a straight cut with bangs, and absolutely will go back. The price is worth it, too!
