I am trying to arrange for a refund for nearly £200 but 'contact at karensontour.co.uk' are not replying to me and I have not received my money. They cancelled my booking 2 days before the date. I would really appreciate it if I could receive my refund please, as it is my money.

Disgusting service, cancelled on us, confirmed they would provide a refund and what a surprise no refund received. Now will not reply to my emails, Facebook messages, try to call their customer service number at 3.30pm on a Wednesday, and they say it is closed and open monday to friday until 6pm, like the refunds there customer service either don't want to bother working, cannot tell the time or cannot be bothered, surely reading all these reviews they should do something about it?

Booked to go to a Karen's Diner pop up at a local venue. Without telling us, the event had been cancelled. I contacted Karen's & they tried to blame the venue saying the ghosted them. This was a lie as we know some of the people that work at the venue & tgey told us it had been cancelled because Karen's were changing agreements & asking for more money. I asked for a refund, to which Karen's said it would be given in 2-4 weeks. This was in June, still no refund & now Karen's aren't replying to my emails. I get Karen's Diner is a parody that is supposed to provide bad customer service & to be unprofessional, but it's by far the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Looking at all the other bad reviews, I would advise to avoid these events & hopefully they'll go bankrupt & cease business.

Omg, absolutely awful. The venue didn’t suit Karen’s diner at all. Didn’t feel like a diner and we were sat on a huge round table with strangers. The food was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Two tiny burgers thrown on a dry bun and the crispy chicken burger was just as bad. One table nipped out and came back with a huge bag of McDonald’s, which said it all.
Drinks were hugely expensive too.
Only 3 members of staff for a room full of people.
Never again, not worth the money at all sadly.

The food was an absolute joke, like a piece of sandwich meat chicken, so thin! That had been deep fried for hours. One small slice of tomato and a piece of limp lettuce on a dry bland bun. . I've had better service station sandwiches.
Loved the time with my girls but the event was so bland- the staff were not brill, no real personality to it, no real banter just the occasional glare to make you feel like you can't look at them, not like the videos you see online in the real diners! Also.. they take three planned breaks, in a two hour event , which leaves you sat doing nothing. . for the money I think it was extremely disappointing. Stoke venue.
For the price of the ticket you'd at least expect some half decent food...

If you go with an open mind and up for a laugh, there's fun to be had - but the food is shocking and it's very dependant on the other attendees as to whether you'll enjoy it or not. We had the chilli cheese nachos and it was basically canned chilli and cheap nacho sauce on some Aldi crisps. Awful. We ended up going out for dinner on our way home. Nobody in the room ate all of their meal. Our table was full of miserable people and I've got no idea why they booked this experience since they clearly wanted to hate it from the get go, which dampened our experience. Some people want to 'step up' to the staff so they can be the center of attention and just end up being the person that everyone in the room hates. Myself and my wife were up for a laugh, had some banter and got involved in the games, and enjoyed it - but we had to fight through the misery on our table and left the show starving.

If you're looking for a representation of the restaurant experience that you've seen on YouTube, you aren't going to get it here. It's nothing like it. But, there is fun to be had if you're really insistent on going. Personally, I'd save the money and go to the real thing. We did have a good time but it isn't something we'd do again.

Went to stoke location very disappointed especially with food it was awful nothing like the pictures , it certainly wasn’t worth the money won’t be going again.The guys I was with made it fun

Nothing to what was expected,, food was horrendous cold and burger was like rubber, the staff were to young and even in the terms and conditions they were supposed to be actors??? Well I had to ask them to come and give our table abuse cause no one at all came to our table after the initial sit down to ask for dietary requirements,, still wasn’t insulted then, wouldn’t recommend waste of money if you ask me!!!

Wish I could give less than 1 star! Absolutely s**te. The Stoke one was rubbish, food is crap! Entertainment is worse, 3 staff, they are rude as you expect but we couldn’t see anything, the way the room is set up makes it difficult to see. The microphone is muffled so you can hardly hear. 2 hours the booking was, I reckon an hour was breaks and 45 mins of banter. Then they finish 15 minutes before and ask for a tip! Don’t waste your money! Call each other t**ts, tell each other F off and you’re done 😂 save yourself £30+ for drinks!!!!

Rubbish , food terrible , lay out and set up not at all good. Like cheap holiday entertainment No organisation and had to queue ages for a drink . Stoke

Worth the one time experience.

Food is cold and very very dry. For £30 a ticket you'd expect to at least be able to eat the food even with it being karens diner.
The games were fun but not many people got to take part as there was only 3 staff for 11 tables of 10 people.

You expect the mick to be taken out of you but even when calling out that we had a person with a real name of Karen all she got was a fk you Karen (no free drink as advertised)

It doesn't really live up to the hype that you see online and not everyone gets a hat with a stupid name. Some people on our table didn't manage to get involved with anything the whole time.

Speaking of drinks they are expensive between 4 people we spend upwards of 70 quid on drinks (2 each)

Overall tho the experience is worth the one time thing but not worth going again.

Stoke on Trent. Absolutely rubbish. Staff were too young and all they could say was f••k off, no real banter or roasting.
Seated behind a pillar so could see absolutely nothing of what was really going on. Food was atrocious. Rubber burger which was way too small for the bap!! Would not recommend

Cancelled a couple of days before the event. No communication since. I tried to transfer 4 tickets (2 were bought in May and 2 in August) and they only transferred 2. I've emailed every day and tried calling and nothing. So raised a dispute with Paypal for 2 tickets and hoping to get a refund via Karens for the other tickets, but not holding my breath.

1 star is pushing it!
Due to go to event sun 15th October in Bristol. Notified thurs 12th October that it was cancelled. Given option for refund which opted for on 12th and have heard nothing since (now 29th Oct).

Had a booking for 2 at the Bristol venue in July this year , three days before I got email saying it’s been cancelled and the event was going to be moved to Newport, was advised by email that people who did not want to travel to Newport woudl recieve a full review, I asked for refund which I still haven’t received! Have emailed so many times , total charlatans and con artists, i see a second proposed show that was due to happen in October was cancelled one day before, do not use this company or buy any tickets, glorified fraudsters

Had a booking for 4 at the Bristol venue on the 14th of October as a surprise , day before I got email saying it’s been cancelled , as if I wanted refund or tickets for December , I asked for refund which I still haven’t received! Have emailed so many times , so disappointed as it’s over £100 they owe me

They cancelled the even in Newcastle on Saturday 5th August 1hour before the event. Still waiting on a refund from them, they don't answer calls, live chat is faulty if you ask about refunds and Emails are replied with a fob off automatic reply. Completely ripped us off. Contacting trading standards and the Chronicle.

Like most people on here , I booked Newcastle in August got cancelled only few hours before the event
You need to email them nearly every day to get a refund it takes months
I’m not sure how they still manage to keep a business going
Cancelling is one thing poo happens but when they don’t refund you in a decent time without you having to message constantly to get your money back it’s an absolute poo show ! Don’t gamble your money on it been stolen

What an utter waste of £50
I took my cousin as a birthday treat it was a sham we were late getting to the venue ( naff pub) got there 12.30
Had the food in a small basket the fries were barely warm the burger was ok. Wore a hat, crayoned in a poster of Karen’s Diner 3 spins of the wheel for fun games 1.20 asked to F***k off
It was supposed to be 12-2pm
The entertainer didn’t arrive

I wish I had taken her somewhere special and spent the £50 on a nice meal or to McDonald’s, cinema and still had change for coffee and a cake

Our date was cancelled with 2 days notice after booking 9 months in advance. Zero communication since. Still no refund and out of pocket over £200. Can’t get hold of anyone despite trying everything.
