Unsatisfactory customer service. Unless you are happy with it tell them specifically not to put you on auto renew unless you want it.
THE LAST CUSTOMER REP I SPOKE TO WAS AWFUL. A MAN. HE WAS CONDESCENDING AND DID NOT SPEAK TO ME WITH RESPECT. THE PREVIOUS REP A WOMAN GAVE ME TWO QUOTES ONE WAS MY SON INCLUDED AND THE OTHER WITH SON EXCLUDED. I did explain this to the man but he wasn't having it. I told him to check on the system because the woman clearly gave me two quotes one of which was the standard renewal with son and the other was without son. He denied any entry on the notes regarding the standard renewal with son and I repeated several times that the woman had clearly given me that which in fact was the standard auto renewal which in fact I never consented to. I found his manner most and satisfactory.

Delighted with the quote we were given. About 75% cheaper than the quote from our previous company!
Excellent communication from Paul, who dealt with the enquiry. Friendly and helpful.
I particularly liked the way he dealt with us when on hold. It's inevitable that you will be put on hold when making an insurence enquiry. But you may begin to wonder if they have forgotten about you.
Paul made sure to check in with us every so often to update us. He was a very good ambassador for the company.

Buyer beware if expecting to pay monthly
Buyer beware if expecting to pay for insurance via monthly installments. Similar to another recent review, I renewed my policy earlier this year and have now sold the campervan (June).
On calling to cancel the policy, I was advised I was liable to pay the full credit agreement amount to Premium Credit Ltd who they use to finance the policies. In addition to the £37.50 cancellation fee owed to Just Kampers, they have told me I need to pay another £165 for the finance balance to Premium Credit Ltd.
I have never encountered this with another insurance company, despite always paying monthly. Staff are always very friendly on the calls and not their fault, but I would never use or recommend Just Kampers as an insurance company again.
Update:
Don't bother reaching out to them when they comment on your negative trust pilot review. I did within minutes of their update and they didn't bother to acknowledge the email. Absolute sham of a company.

no insurance refund after 90 days
I insured my van in March and when I sold it in June. When i asked for a refund on my insurance I was told they do not refund policies that have been held for 90 days.

If you own a VW then you need Justkampers
