I used to love JTV. Of recent, however, the quality seems poor, prices have increased and customer service has been awful. They do not honor their prices.

Caveat Emptor buyer beware
I purchased a clearance alexandrite/tanzanite ring for my elderly mom for this past M Day. The ring is beautiful and she loves it. A side stone catches when it comes in contact with clothing and now the center stone is loose, she has had it 2 days. She does not want to the ring sent back or sent back for repair and cried for me not to. They do not have another so I cant exchange it.
I called and spoke to Charlie at JTV asking for a refund for some of what I paid so I could have a local jeweler do the repairs same day service. He not only said no he was a bully and rude.
I read several reviews that stones in settings from JTV were fake...Im praying this is not the case. I will do two things:
1. have a reputable gemologist state if the ring is worth what I paid and verify the stones are real
2. if yes I will pay him or her to do repairs in one day so mom will be happy. If no I will send it back for a full refund
I called 3 local jewelery stores and they all quoted a cost of between$157-200 for verification and repairs.
I was really excited about this purchase but it has been very stressful.
Why dont companies realize happy customers lead to more sales and unhappy ones lead to bad reviews????
Horrible treatment
I called customer service to find out why my account was blocked. I have been a customer for over 8 years have purchased several thousands of dollars of merchandise through stretch pay. She informed me that a $17 balance was owed from 2017 which I never received
any collection notices for and because of that now they blocked my account. I was told even if I paid the $17 my stretch pay privileges were taken away. I am not a child I have perfect credit you bring up something 7 years ago after I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of products on stretch pay and have always paid on time now you can take JTV and all your products and put it with the sun don't shine. I will never order again from this company such poor management to take away stretch pay from a perfect paying responsible customer for over 7 years because of $17 now you bring this up. I will take you off my channel as well. Bye-bye JTV
We purchased a ring in December
We purchased a ring in December. In April one of the diamonds fell out. My fiancé purchased the ring online and when I called to send it for repair they refused to speak to me even though I just wanted an address to send it in. He spoke to them and we sent the ring for repair. We received an email that the repair will cost $35 after owning the ring for 4 months. I called to pay the fee. They spoke to my fiance who was at work and got his permission to speak to me. I was transferred to another person who told me the first lady was “mistaken” and there was no way they could take a credit card number from me because it is not my account. I just wanted to pay the fee and get my ring back. We leave for Mexico in 2 weeks to get married and I have no ring. A ring should last longer than 4 months without a stone falling out in the first place considering I work from home and only put the ring on when I leave the house. It wasn’t even consistently worn in those 4 months. I won’t ever order jewelry online from this company again and dealing with their customer service is ridiculous.
I like your hosts but some need their nails done. It just bugs me to see them not pretty. I like all of my jewelry.

I love JTV, but I’m shocked!
I have been a loyal customer of JTV for approx 16 years. When I called customer service today to place an order, I was shocked to find out that I was talking to a person in the Philippines. JTV has outsourced their jobs to another country! I’m sure this is all in the interest of saving them money. And this has nothing to do with being prejudice, because I definitely am not! I used to love talking to the friendly JTV employees when I called in to place an order. They were all so friendly. So often, we would end up laughing about something, and they would truly make my day! I loved their southern accent and southern charm. Truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever done business with! But, not anymore! Unfortunately, this is happening more often, than not. I am forced to do business with a person I can’t understand and it ends up taking me forever to place the call. I think it is shameful to not hire employees in our own country. One more example of sending either our products to another company to be built or hiring people from another country. I find it difficult to believe that this decision is due to an employee shortage. In the past when I called customer service, every JTV employee talked about how they loved working there, and what a wonderful company it was to work for. I know for a fact, there are several of the JTV program hosts that have been there either since the company started, or a few years after. Since JTV has been in business for 30 1/2 years, that speaks volumes about how they take care of their employees. JTV has a huge customer base. The show hosts often state how their jewelry shows reach millions of viewers in the US, Canada, and a few other countries. I highly doubt the outsourcing is due to financial difficulties, based on the number of customers who purchase from them. We’re making our country weaker, by sending our work overseas, and enriching other countries. It’s obvious America is on a downward spiral and it is heartbreaking to see JTV contributing to the problem. My fondness of this company has certainly changed. I doubt this review will be read by the JTV President or other employee executives who made this outsourcing decision. I most likely will not stop doing business with JTV, because I make jewelry, and they sell jewelry making supplies. But, I’ll try my best to place my orders online, and avoid calling their customer service. Paying customers should not have to exhaust themselves, while trying to understand a customer service person, in our own country. What used to take a few minutes, took almost 15-20 minutes today. Its bad enough that everything I buy today is from China. Yes, I said it! I spoke the truth and said what 99% of Americans want to say. There may be those who have an issue with what I’ve written. Just remember, we’re all entitled to our own opinion. In closing, I want to reiterate, JTV has high quality, beautiful jewelry, and related products! Its not about what they sell, its about what they did. They took away from their own home country to help enrich another. It’s happening way too much. Disappointed to see JTV being part of them problem.

JTV has a wide selection of jewelry with prices for everyone. I have order a lot from them and always had a great experience. I live in Canada so shipping takes longer and that is okay. Refunds may take a long time but you do get it with notification. Customer service is one of the best I have ever experience. They try their best to deal with issues. I have had nothing but a positive experience. I will continue shopping JTV. I find some people who do not like JTV are very impatient. Patience pays off. I strongly recommend JTV.

Great Show/Need Realistic Descriptions Overall
Overall, I highly recommend JTV. The channel has an enormous variety of many brands/styles. Love the Moissnite, Fabulite, Pearls and Warehouse liquidation shows (they go faster!).
Basically love all the hosts, and although they are saleswomen/men, you identify and yes, trust them. I have been disappointed, and do return (return shipping on me).
My overriding irritant is no explanation/irritant when JTV cancel an item after confirming your order multiple days later. An email pops in your box simply stating ORDER CANCELLED. No explanation! This, after a specific host constantly states "if you order right now, I promise you will get it." Very disappointing.
Also, I wish they would offer 1/2 sizes. A lot of my returns are due to sizing being 'off'. A normal 8 wears like a 7. Going up to a 9 rarely helps. These two issues are my opinion/suggestion for JTV.
Look forward to more purchasing.
Outrageous 14 day window if your item goes on sale after purchase.
I ordered a necklace and noticed it went on sale after purchase. Customer service rep stated there is a FOURTEEN day window for credit back to be issued on difference between sale & purchase price. It had been 18 days. I could send item back & repurchase at sale price less a 25% restocking fee. Really? You can’t just issue the credit & save me all that hassle plus the extra fee I’d be out? Nope. Other retailers (Macys, QVC, HSN) will honor a sale price for up to 30 days from purchase. I am disgusted & will not purchase anything from JTV again.
Second rate jewelry
This jewelry company ships pretty quickly. My beef with them is I've received, at least, 3 items that have been junk. I simply threw them away. They are pretty friendly when you call them, but that doesn't make up for defective merchandise. I've been a customer since late 2016 or early 2017...can't remember the exact year. I also can't stand listening to many of their hosts, but that seems to be the case with many television shopping channels. They all seem to hire people with the most irritating voices. I stopped ordering from JTV after getting burned. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me (not happening!)
In defense of Jewelry Television!
I have to defend JTV pronto! I’m reading negative reviews and they seem a bit unfair. One is due to too much talking (really?), another is due to a broken piece after TWO YEARS of use (that’s not JTV’s fault), one more is due to dented sterling silver (that’s on you), lastly is due to an issue, but it was RESOLVED! People, what happens after JTV mails you the piece is on you, not them. If they help remedy the problem, that’s a good thing. I’ve been a customer since 2012 with no complaints. Most of my purchases have been costume that’s held up wonderfully. You have to be careful and if something breaks take it to a local jeweler. All purchases come in a medium sized plastic bag and their customer service is extremely helpful. Great prices
I would have given 5 stars but I did have one negative experience with them that I won't go into as it was resolved. They have excellent jewelry at great prices. JTV also has a really great return policy. I buy Pearls and Moissanite from them because they have the best prices.
My preferred network for jewelry
I've been shopping here for over 20 years. The only issue I've had is the sizing of rings. Some run small. I've not had any issues returning something. I almost always qualify for free shipping. If you buy more than one of any number, you only pay shipping for 1. Their customer service has been thorough, helpful, professional and polite. They are located in Knoxville and I can understand what they say. It appears that their employees go through training. I watch some hosts more than others. There are one or two I prefer to not listen to but they are all professional and mature, at least while on air.
I won't be purchasing from them again
I ordered a ring from them, and noticed that after a week it still hadn't shipped. I contacted them and resolved the issue, but they never contacted me and made me aware that there was an issue in the first place. When I finally recieved my ring, it was beautiful but arrived in a plastic bag inside of a little box. Like when you order from Ebay. That was slightly off putting. A few weeks later the band of my ring (a sapphire and sterling silver solitaire) dented and became misshapen. I've never had that happen, even with costume jewelry.

Two years ago my mom ranted and raved about #jtv. She purchased a Cross Bracelet from this "company". She even took out a credit card with them. Two years later the clasps on her bracelet broke. She called #Jtv and the representative told her to send it in for repair. These people sent it back and said it couldn't be repaired???? Really? A clasps? What kind of incompetent people do you have "working" for y'all? Do not buy their cheap, crappy ugly jewelry. Shop elsewhere!!! I'm leaving #reviews everywhere possible.

This company is on the trustworthy list! I've been shopping with them oh, maybe 20 years now? I'm old and forget stuff anymore! Hahaha!
Anyways, during all these years I've only had to send an item back twice. Once because I didn't like it, and once because it had been damaged. Best quality and best prices for jewelry. Fast delivery and well packaged.

I have ordered lots of jewelry from JTV.com and it has always been a positive experience. Shipping is fast and reasonable, sometimes even free! It is very easy to return items & receive a refund, simply send them back in the original package. They will also repair for free items if they arrive damaged and you don't want to return or exchange it. Their prices are fantastic, I will never buy jewelry from a department store or jeweler again since I can find similar items at a fraction of the cost.
