Done with JTV

I have been dealing with JTV for over 10 years. I've had several problems with them but always manage to get past it. This time I'm done. I got my sister and anklet for her birthday. She had it 3 days and it broke. I sent it back to fix. I chatted with Derek on their app and he said a piece is was missing and they couldn't make it the link needed. He asked did I want the anklet back or did I want a refund? I told him through email. I want a refund. Today I got the anklet broken sent back to me. I am passed fed up. How can they not coordinate with their repair team?. This is probably more than 20 times that I've had issues. From auctions to returns to shipping fees, the list goes on and on. They try to make it right. I will give them that. Or I wouldn't still be a customer. But as of today I am no longer going to associate with JTV. There are too many other places I can spend my money and as tight as the economy is it's just not worth my time or hassle.

Since invicta shows moved from shophq…

Since invicta shows moved from shophq to JTV hasn’t been the same. When they were on shophq.com they had limited edition watches and different varieties of watches. They had so many pro divers as well and now since they moved to JTV.com hasn’t been the same for weeks they didn’t have an invicta show and the volume of invicta watches has gone low cause they hardly to show no new watches. I prefer shophq cause they had so many invicta shows. Yeh so it’s a bummer that they don’t have shows or limited edition invicta watches like before. Sometimes I buy at the invictastores.com cause they have so many with varieties well I’m don’t here and good luck JTV.com

Packaging has gone downhill big time.

JTV has really nice jewelry at fair prices. The quality can vary pretty greatly for certain gemstones, but generally you can get a pretty good deal. Especially if you can use a coupon. I often look for pre-owned versions of items I like. They're discounted, yet 99% of the time they arrive in brand new condition. If I then use a coupon on top, I often feel like I've done pretty well. I generally try not to return anything, because from what I've read from tons of other customers, you get charged a pretty hefty return shipping fee. As in, higher than what they charged to begin with. I also can't give 5 stars because they have gone from offering free shipping for purchases over $49, to now only offering free shipping for orders over $99. And shipping went from $2.99 to $3.99, now $4.99 over the last year or so. Despite this, their packaging has gotten pretty chintzy. The latest is an ugly black box with their logo on it, with just an ugly chunk of foam inside instead of a nice storage pouch. Sent in a rough carboard envelope with no protection. I've received several items now with dented boxes because of this cheap packaging. I'm hoping they'll receive enough push-back from customers on the packaging that it improves.

I'm being charged for two rings when I…

I'm being charged for two rings when I only ordered one and returned that one ring. I spoke to someone a few weeks ago and was told it was insured with the mailing label. Well, it's not. Now, I'm paying for two rings which I have none of and they are threatening to turn me over to a collection agency and take legal action. I've been with them for over 25+ years and this is how they treat their long time customers. I will be closing my account after 25+years. It's a shame that this is the treatment lloyal customers receive. JTV, in my opinion, is a big scam. Don't shop with these people.

Questionable at best

Be very careful! I found a $25 off coupon in my texts just after I placed an order. It took literally hours on the phone with my call being dropped several times, being given false information, sent to other departments, etc. trying to cancel the order so I could reorder using the coupon. I finally got to someone who helped, but what a runaround! That was a few weeks ago. I was going to look past all that and give them another chance, but yesterday checked an item I have on stretch pay and found that it is now over $80 cheaper despite that I bought it on what was touted as a big discount at that time. If they can sell it that much cheaper now, they could have done better then too and clearly were misleading people before. I am very unhappy with their lack of trustworthiness. They won’t get another cent from me once my stretch pay is done.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I used to buy from JTV. Some of the items were OK. But if there was ever a problem like you never got your order or if the item broke the first time you wore it. Not only did they not make it right but they were rude.

MAJOR LET DOWN INDEED For years I have had an account with…

For years I have had an account with JTV. I have spent lots of money on JTV. I have done so carefully by researching and carefully choosing the pieces I purchased. Then for several years I did not purchase and a month ago or so, I purchased a gift for someone. I had to call in to order this gift as my account was not working. I asked for help and got none, so I persisted and finally got some, but it was with a customer service person instead of an IT person. Several times I suggested getting help from the JTV IT department, I was ignored each time. My account still does not work and as a CEO who runs luxury companies in the US and Europe, I am puzzled why JTV will not get help from their IT department to fix this issue. Or possibly JTV does not have an IT department? As long as one is purchasing all is well at JTV but the second a loyal customer needs help, it is a very different story with JTV. I have a whole different view now of JTV. And yes one definately needs to choose and purchase carefully when buying on JTV. I have discovered some other sites out there and that is good. Do not feel much right now like spending my money on JTV.

Do not return the poor quality of jewelry they charge a 25% restocking fee I bought a ring for 1200 and they charged me 245 to return it they are a huge rip off don't trust these ppl and I still haven't received my refund it's been weeks since they received the ring back stay away is my best advice

JTV's playing nasty games and gave me a discount, then took it back.

Updated 2/18/25:

This is what I bought: Opl Teaching Diffraction-grating Spectroscope - OPL4 | $156.99, “- “Gemstone deal” of (-47.10) = $109.89. But, get this, Opl the manufacturer sells this item at retail of 76 British Pounds which equals $95.94. So, in reality, the retail price is “made up,” and utterly dishonest, there is no discount. I really, really dislike such game playing and it makes JTV look bad.

Go look: search for OPL Spectra, you'll see

Also, I used a 10% off one item, and ordered two items. My screen showed -10% on one item. I went to pay, entered my cc, it took it, then *poof* the discounted item was GONE. This forced me to re-order as, quite frankly, I'm not going to lose a lot of sleep over -10% on one item. And I need that item that the system just choked on and flatly removed, I now must re-order, but don't want a double order. So, I did the chat thing and explained and asked what happened and please don't double order me.

But the CS, over and over, kept saying that the 10% off coupon "not valid." But Mr. CS, please look at the screen shot I just sent you clearly showing the first item with the 10% removed. In other words, my "cart" has two items, one with a 10% discount, one without. I paid and *poof* the system removed the discounted item leaving me with only one of the two items that I wanted being sent. If it was "not valid," then why do I have a screen shot showing it being applied?

So, I called CS. All I asked was, don't double order me, nix that odd order and only send me the last order. Not complicated? Un uh.... Yikes, really I expect better from JTV and have been happy in the past. System glitch, but OMG, what a hassle to fix their glitch, keep your 10% off one item jtv, I'm just disappointed in a system that is screwy and a CS that is staring at a screen shot I sent him, and telling me it's not valid when it shows on that screen shot.

Now jtv replies, but quite frankly, the last chat took almost 20 minutes and no thank you, but you will lose some business from me. I should not need to do a 20-minute chat again, you could fix this in a flash and just give me the 10% off one item as the system took and then later simply removed. I wish that I could attach a screenshot.

I LOVE JTV!

The larger shopping channels were my “go to” but lately, they have not been enjoyable. I discovered JTV and I appreciate their simple, bare-bones approach! Their hosts are relatable! I have ordered a few items, in the last 2 months-I am extremely satisfied! Free shipping promos, coupons & “Brilliant Cash” make for nice incentives to shop there! I love their easy-to-navigate website & their “try on” feature. I notice some of the rather popular products have left the big shopping channels & have settled down @ JTV…that also makes for a great shopping experience, too!

Cheap looking ring and horrible customer service

I bought a ring for $488 it looked nothing like the photo, it was so thin and cheap.
I returned it now I am having a very hard time getting my money back.
Three different people tell me lies about when I would get my refund. They gave reviews on there website that look like they are fake. I would recommend you not to shop here for their cheap looking jewelry and horrible customer service.

A Really horrible experience right…

A Really horrible experience right before Christmas.
I purchased my fiance a gift card for $500 on jtv.com She never received the card in her email, and a day later I receive an email stating my purchased has been cancelled and I will receive my refund when my bank experires my pending purchase. This is horrible because now I have to wait two weeks to buy her a new gift. Today is Dec, 23, 2024

Order months ahead of time expect delays

I ordered some product on Dec 17 told Priority mail Express 2 day shipping, Billed and money taken out Dec 17, Product not shipped until Dec 20, (3 days later). So my 2 day delivery will now be eight days before I get, if it even arrives then. Only one day before Christmas, even though ordered 7 days prior. Customer service no help and can't understand a word they say. I was told items would arrive in 2 days now it might not even arrive prior to the holiday, so Now I have to go else where to get something for wife. This has happen several times form them. I hope with time, their service would have changed with all the bad reviews, Guess not. Makes you wonder if any one from the company even reads their reviews???? They need to correct their listing to say will ship when they desire and not tell customers incorrect delivery dates. They offer coupons for customer satisfaction but you can't redeem them so what gives. I like their products but customer service is severely lacking. As someone in the customer service business if this happened at my store, there would be a lot of people looking for a new job.
UPDATE: Now product will not be delivered until 12-27-2024, 10 days from order, told 2 days delivery now looking at over 10 days to delivery and get text offering small discount on next order?????? Why would I continue to order when they can't keep there promise to deliver on time??????

Unprofessional Customer Service

Overall I have had a good experience with Jtv until now. I received terrible customer service from a representative named Phyllis. She was argumentative and not professional. Evem if I was wrong as a customer, it's not professional to argue. Her original response to my email started off unprofessional. I made multiple purchases with this company. Not sure if I would buy again due to Phyllis.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! I received an item that was clearly defective and requested that the originally shopping cost be credited back to me. Despite having pictures proving this, all I received was lecture by the customer service agent who I talked to. Her tone and attitude -- based solely on looking up my account and determining I had returned too many items in the past, was completely unprofessional and full of attitude. All I asked for was my original shipping cost on a DEFECTIVE ITEM. I will NOT be doing any more business JTV and will be returning every single item I've purchased over this holiday season. There's plenty of ways I can spend my money, and this is not going to be one of them. I will never recommend JTV to anyone... the fact that they say you can return everything if you're unhappy with the product means nothing.
