Dissapointing.
I chose JR Cleaning based on their positive reviews, which made what followed all the more disappointing.
After booking, they failed to attend on three separate occasions. The first was because a neighbour's door was open, which required me to notify multiple neighbours and rearrange. The second appointment came and went with no show and no communication whatsoever. The third was cancelled via a personal text from their operative on the morning of the appointment, citing an internal miscommunication about staffing.
Throughout this process, I had to repeatedly chase for updates, notify my neighbours multiple times, arrange council furniture collection, and take significant time out of my schedule, all for a service that was never delivered. Calls to the office frequently went unanswered or dropped, and emails were slow to receive responses.
I eventually had to cancel and find an alternative contractor. When I sent a formal complaint requesting confirmation of cancellation with no fee applied, given it was their failure, not mine, I received no response.
I have no doubt their operative Mike was capable, but the office administration is chaotic and unreliable. I would not recommend JR Cleaning to anyone who needs a service they can actually depend on.

Hello, I’m genuinely sorry for the experience you had with JR Cleaning. I have reviewed the booking history and can see that, following Mike’s initial visit, we failed to provide the reliable service and communication you were entitled to expect.
You should not have had to rearrange your plans, repeatedly notify your neighbours, chase our office for updates and then receive no response to your cancellation request. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding each appointment, the overall handling of your booking fell below our standards, and I take responsibility for that.
For clarity, your booking is cancelled and no cancellation fee will be charged. We are reviewing our booking and communication procedures to prevent this happening again. I appreciate this does not undo the inconvenience caused, but thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Job well done
The team ( two lads) turned up at 0900 on the day as requested.
It was explained to me what they were going to do. Showing me the standard of netting they were using to make my solar panels secure from the birds that had set up home over the past years. With in minutes of getting their equipment on the ground they started on the roof. Although they were offered a cup of tea they refused and continued to secure the panels.
It took them about two hours to complete the job.
As I said they secured the panels. Cleaned the roof gutters of bird droppings ( got a bag load) Washed down the panels.
Over all the whole thing was professionally done.
Cleaned up after them. We couldn’t have asked for a better service.
Received the receipt of payment with our 10 year guarantee.
Would highly recommend JR Cleaning.

A very prompt and professional service from the JR team, who had driven up from Dartford to do the job - pigeon nest removal, netting installation around solar panels & overall roof cleaning. 3 very polite and helpful lads worked hard in the heat to complete the job and tidied up well after themselves. Result looks great, and while not perhaps the cheapest outfit, they do the job properly, and that’s what counts.

Excellent work
I contacted J R Cleaning to find out about having my monocouche rendering, my block paving and my patio cleaned. Michael and Nathan arrived on Friday 26th June and commenced work with Michael returning on Monday 29th to sand and seal the block paving.
The results of their hard work are astounding. My rendering looks like new. The patio and block paving look as though they've just been laid. Excellent work.

A great, all-round experience
Booking the job was easy, being asked pertinent questions beforehand. They turned up in good time and got straight on with the job. Explaining any issues found and how they were to be rectified. Price was as quoted. This was for gutter cleaning and a repair (of one of the gutters) for a known issue I had notified them about beforehand.

Fantastic service. Dan & Nathan cleaned my astro turf & patio so thoroughly- including disinfecting & clearing pigeon droppings safely- that I genuinely didn't know it could look so green & clean!!

Bad customer service and disorganised
Arranged a site visit which was missed. The second visit was cancelled. The third visit the man arrived but couldn't fix the gutter. Told me the office would send a quote. Have been sending multiple emails to get the quote and repair done. Wasted 6 weeks trying to get anything out of them. Avoid, they are very disorganised.

No Show......
I booked a gutter repair and was given a date and time. I phoned the day before to check that JR Cleaning were still coming, and at the time booked. This was important, as I was going especially to the property for this work to be done. One hour after the appointment time nobody had arrived. I phoned JR Cleaning who said they'd get back to me . They didn't. I've had a wasted morning.

We contacted JR Cleaning because they were local and had good reviews. Our solar panels had become quite dirty over this year and their performance had dropped somewhat. When I rang the office they were very helpful and were able to give me an appointment in 2 days time. The gentleman came on time and was able to carry out a very thorough clean of the panels on both rooves. He used long ladders at the front and our orangery roof enabled access to the rear array. The job was very professionally carried out .He used special extendable brushes with hose attachments and the water went through a filtration system to remove particulate matter ,thus avoiding water marks when dried. Wish I had checked reviews first !!!
I run a site of 40 bungalows and flats and required a quote for carrying out the moss removal to the roofs. A date was booked in but was subsequently cancelled on the day they were due to attend. No alternative date given so it was left for me to chase and book.
A second date was given, this time, no cancellation, they just didn't show up which is unforgivable so I have taken my business elsewhere.
I WOULD URGE YOU TO DO THE SAME, They don't deserve it !!
