Horrible customer service.
Hottub was delivered damaged a year ago. They promised to fix damaged panels but did not send anyone back out to me for 6 months. When they finally came they had wrong colour panels which they installed and left on it, saying that they would order the right colour. Which brings me up to today. Engineer has arrived 6 months after last visit with wrong colour panels again but I'm now told it's down to sun bleaching. Strange then that the new panel is slightly lighter than the existing one? Surely fresh out of the factory they would be darker? And even if was down to sun bleaching perhaps they shouldn't have waited 6 months to address the issue if they know about this problem?
But Adam assures me that it's something I will just have to live with and over the years all the colours will just blend into one. When asked how long will that take he said "how long is a piece of string".
This company has never made any contact with me regarding the delivery damage,and I have had to chase them up the whole way. Its to the point where I'm exhausted with it and would rather put up with the different colours than to deal with them any more.
I HOPE NOONE ELSE HAS TO ENDURE JOHNSONS HOTTUBS!!!!

Unfortunately, in the last couple of years, due to an unprecedented demand within the industry, many manufacturers have had highly extended lead times on parts. Despite being restricted by this as suppliers we understand the frustration this causes our valued customers.

Terrible customer service

Spent over ten thousand pounds on a hot tub from Johnson’s. Ordered before Christmas and told to expect delivery mid March. After lots of chasing, it finally arrived on the 21st April. A day after installation, the electrical supply to the hot tub tripped within twenty minutes of getting in the tub. After Johnson’s initially tried to blame it on being wired up incorrectly, it was obvious that water was leaking through a cup holder fitting and into the electrical terminal box inside the shell. All this I had to determine myself as Johnson’s insist on doing all the initial fault diagnosis over the phone rather than send someone out, maybe their engineer is always busy because they do a roaring trade in selling expensive sub-standard products? After much arguing over the phone, they offered to send out an engineer on the 2nd of May, ten days time which is ten days that we won’t be able to use it for. Seriously considering sending back the tub and going elsewhere, how on earth is it acceptable for a brand new product to fail like this? Avoid this firm at all costs, like a lot of companies nowadays once they have your money they don’t care

Despicable company - DO NOT BUY

Despicable company - DO NOT BUY from them. I have had a faulty hot tub for 18 months now, they replaced the first one (after trying to tell me the damage was due to chlorine (which was their own chemicals, added by their installer and reported within 24 hours of delivery). This was replaced over a year later finally with much chasing with another which turns off intermittently, light broken and doesnt measure water temp correctly. They tried replacing it 3 more times each time with a visually faulty one so taken back and not changed. I now have a hot tub worth £7,000 which cannot be used, is costing me money to heat and run to try and save the water for a replacement. The company are shocking. The products are second rate and the overall customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I am seeking legal advise.

We really do sympathise with your frustrations and are doing all that we can to get the matter satisfactorily resolved for you. As a supplier, we are somewhat reliant on the actual manufacturer in certain instances, particularly when there are such specific requirements (which, to be clear, are completely understandable given the lovely design of the location of your tub), and this is unfortunately one of those cases.

Our records show that one of our operatives did have a chat with you on Friday and it looks like we are expecting to have an update for you towards the end of this week.

In the meantime, please bear with us during this frustrating time and rest assured that we will do everything we can to ensure the matter is resolved as swiftly as possible.

Matt and Mitchell great team at Harlow Garden Centre with good service, Tony who delivered had great knowledge and explained everything brilliantly, Hot Tub is lovely and has been used almost everyday so far.

Well I am absolutely flabbergasted by…

Well I am absolutely flabbergasted by your inadequate flippant response. As for successfully resolved after a brief inconvenience, I have to totally disagree. We waited over a week for an engineer to appear and this was after numerous phone calls and several visits to our local showroom. The engineer who finally arrived spent over 7hours fault finding to get the tub working. After finding the incorrect circuit board had been installed and that the sensor wire had been soldered ( which should never be done) As for the tub fully commissioned, this has never been done, mainly because after 7 hrs, the poor engineer Ross, who I have to say has the patience of a saint, had a 2 hr drive home. We felt obliged & fed up to let him go home, so he left us with the tub just filling up. We still haven’t had the correct manual and don’t mention on-line, which is a PDF and prints out in minuscule font. I only managed to get a printed manual, because I rang a different showroom and someone kindly sent one. We are still trying to find out the model number for the filter. So, finally I stand by initial statement. Do not buy anything from this company.

Hot tub enquiry well handled

During our recent hot tub purchase enquiry over a period of a week or so, Eastbourne/Hailsham branch manager Carlie Burns attended us personally, followed up on our questions by phone and email, and impressed us with her attentiveness, responsiveness and very professional approach. She had a clearly extensive knowledge of the products on offer, and quickly filled in any gaps in details of specific products. She is very personable and reflects great credit on this Johnsons Hot Tub Outlet branch.

You get what you pay for!

Honestly can’t recommend Johnsons enough. We are so pleased with the hot tub we had installed, the guys were so polite and friendly.
Like most women, I don’t like admitting I’m wrong, but after a desperate call to their customer service team to complain I found out I wasn’t operating it properly, they were so helpful, didn’t make me feel silly for not using it properly and gave me a lesson on what to do in future. I’m so grateful and glad I used a proper company and didn’t buy a cheap tub online. You get what you pay for.

Great team effort to fix the problem

I bought a hot tub from Johnsons that ( unknowingly to all) was wrongly configured and kept blowing 13A fuse on a regular basis before burning its own electrical circuit down completely. It took great team effort of Matt ( Whitstable site manager), Larissa ( customer services) and Hot Tub wizard - Tony ,in close collaboration with Ross (via phone and out of hours) to finally resolve the problem. Thank you all for your dedication in getting this sorted despite many obstacles. Special thanks to Tony for working late and not leaving until he was sure the job was done. Customer service truly, at its best.

First class service

We purchased our hot tub in June and waited until 17th August for delivery which we were told about so no problem there. We had to crane the tub over the house which went well but meant 2 seperate visits from the installation teams but they were more than happy to oblige. The route up to the back of the garden around 20m was extremely tight and up several steps, I must admit I wasn't sure it would go through the tight gap to our steps but the installer Tony was not phased and was determined to get the tub into our desired location and he did it I still cannot believe they managed to get it into the desired location. These guys pull out the stops to provide a great service, well done guys and massive thanks to Hot Tub Tony who set up the tub with chemicals and explained everything in great detail. You just can't fault the service.
