We bought the koala cub from Hilliers Stone Cross. Very impressed with Carlie, who arranged site visit. Delivery was as we were told. Unfortunately electrician did not turn up to connect. Had slight problem with the large diverter. The after sales team took absolutely for ever to sort. In the end as they could not give me a date I accepted that they send me the part which I fitted myself. Sales brilliant after care needs sorting.
Would buy again and would buy from again.
I purchased a hot tub 6 or so months ago and am very pleased with the service I have received from the lovely lady at Hillers Garden Center Carlie, to the guys that installed at my home and the two chaps I have had to sort some minor tweaks following the initial instalI which was all free of charge. Very good customer service. If you are thinking of buying a hot tub i would highly recommend this company they were great start to finish including after care. *****5 star.

We were discussing whether to purchase a hot tub in the sale from Johnsons at Hilliers Garden Centre Pevensey, during a visit there a few months ago. Carlie Burns the Branch Manager there was fantastic. She talked us through everything, there was no hard sell, just honest answers to our questions, in fact we didn't buy from the sale, we bought a Wellis Jupiter Hot Tub which we are extremely happy with.
From initial ordering to receiving the hot tub, we were kept updated, Alan Smith the Sales Assistant was very quick to respond to any concerns I had. The visit beforehand, to ensure where the hot tub was going and checking for access was very encouraging. On the day of delivery, there were no issues, the team were fantastic, they didn't leave until we were completely satisfied with everything. They gave us tons of advice and useful information and answered all my questions - and I had a lot :-)
We were contact afterwards to ensure we were happy.
From a nervous buyer I have ended up a very happy customer and enjoying the hot tub every day!
I can thoroughly recommend Johnsons, they were a pleasure to buy from.
Poor Customer Service (again)
My last complaint was blamed on telephone technical issues (theirs, not mine). I wonder which piece of equipment will be blamed for this latest poor show.
I completed and payed for an on-line order on 30th August 2022. Nothing from Johnson's since. I received an e mail from DHL last week stating that they would deliver the parcel as soon as Johnson's delivered it to them. I received a second copy of the same e mail today !
I checked the DHL parcel shipping number and found that the parcel was being collected from Johnsons by 1800 hours today (06/09/22). What has been going on for the last week ? Yet another example of take the money and then show no interest.
If I could show 'no stars' I would.
Everything great until installation
Everything great until installation. Hot tub arrived with external parts missing and then set up as part of commissioning without filters. Hot tub ran for less than 24 hours then completely dead. Agreed by all urgent call out required. Appointment not available until 26th August. We had to wait a whole weekend to report fault as technicians unavailable weekends (can live with that) but now have to wait 2 weeks for an ‘urgent’ call out?! Think response time is appalling particularly as commissioning didn’t pick up the fact that the filters were missing!! New hot tub which is unusable and hate to think the damage caused by running same without filters!! Am hoping I may eventually update my feedback with a positive review but not looking good thus far!

It has been two years now since owning my wellis swim spa which I purchased from Johnson’s hot tubs. I still enjoy the swim spa and never had any regrets purchasing my product And still as always Johnson’s team deliver excellent customer service in after sales thank you once again Ian Ross Adam and all the team

If I could give minus stars I would. Bought my hot tub in April 2021 and arrived with broken headrests and a slat in the panel broken. It’s now August 2022 and I still don’t have the headrests and the service I paid for in my package hasn’t been done as customer service is non existent. So far I’ve spoke with Jamie, Warren,Zoe, Larissa and Adam. Spoke to Adam on 8th June 2022 who promised he’d have the items by the Monday and would ring to arrange delivery with my service. Heard nothing so called him today and had no apology for not calling me back just told me the headrests we under a lot of delivery’s in “non-descript” packaging and when I suggested I deserved an apology he hung up on me. Absolutely disgusting company. I’ll now take it up with one of their directors (as Adam tells me there’s no head of customer services and refused to give me anyones name except the Warren I spoke with last September!) and also social media! Don’t give your money to this company, go elsewhere.

Difficult delivery location but so worth it!
From the first contact with the Head-sales office you feel valued and respected. I knew nothing about hot tubs when I started this journey which involved a difficult delivery location. However, I was given options to resolve the issues rather than a flat “NO” and am now enjoying the hot tub at the top of the garden on a regular basis Thank you

Still the worst service on offer....
After i left feedback on this company i was contacted by Warren who said the company has had a change of management and was going all out to rectify the poor experience customers have had in the past with Johnsons, after i explained all the issues he offered a service as a good will gesture and told me to contact him personally when i required this, on Friday i called the Whitstable showroom and explained my reason and asked to speak with Warren and was told i would be contacted by Warren, on the 3rd call i was told by the female adviser that he didn’t know me and wasn’t going to return my call, i also don’t like being called babe by this female, yet again STILL POOR AFTERCARE SERVICE.
What a joke.

Hot tub in mind, head to Johnson’s hot tubs
Visited Hilliers Garden centre in Eastbourne to look at the hot tub’s, there was so much choice and Carlie was an absolute angel she explained everything, took a little longer than expected to arrive, the set up was very quick the guy’s were so helpful and I can honestly say we are in heaven, so thank you to all 👏🏼😊👏🏼

First class service from start to finish!
We ordered our hot tub in February but weren’t ready for it to be delivered until June. Johnson’s offered to store it for us until we were ready. Then delivery day arrived and again what an amazing experience - so knowledgeable and considerate of the environment (making sure our patio slabs were protected as they brought the tub in)
They are experts in their field, thoroughly pleased with the service.
A company that finally got it right
I think it’s fair to say Johnson’s hot tubs have received some negative reviews and have struggled to satisfy some customers .
I was one of these customers as I purchased a tub that unfortunately had problems from day 1 so after 6 months and many emails and endless phone calls I had enough and demanded a refund.
Now I know that Johnson’s were going through a period of staff problems and this had added to my problems because it was really difficult to speak to anyone that had experience or authority .
However Johnson’s obviously realised that not only me but other customers were dissatisfied and fair play they now have a team totally dedicated to the hot tub department and things have changed.
So I received an email from Warren stating that he is now the manager dedicated to customer relations and he and his boss Jason would like to visit myself and my wife to sort out our problems and they would arrange for their best engineer Ross to be with me 2 hours prior to do a complete inspection .
Well I really didn’t want to keep this troublesome tub so I told them ok but as it’s been so stressful they can come but my decision is final so please arrange removal of this tub .
The day came and Ross turned up and fitted a new ozonator which had failed 3 months earlier and spent 2 hours doing a full system check.
Russ is an excellent guy and really knows his stuff
Anyway Warren and Jason arrived at my home and we discussed the history of problems which was fairly lengthy and both myself and my wife really did not want this tub and both Warren and Jason totally agreed that we had been let down by Johnson’s prior and they really wanted to change this bad experience for a good one .
The tub was now all fixed ok by Ross and running ok but we had lost faith after 6 months of trouble so Jason the company director made us an offer of total refund or an alternative much more expensive tub called a Wellis but he said it’s completely up to us and we can decide after a while no hurry.
He told us we could see the Wellis up and running in their showrooms at Thanet .
I visited the showrooms and saw the Wellis all working and realised that this would be a nice tub to have so I contacted Warren and Jason and they said I could choose any colour I wanted and they guaranteed that their best engineer Ross would be our dedicated engineer for install and future servicing etc
We now have a new Wellis Jupiter tub which is quiet running efficient and trouble free and thanks to Warren and Jason we are now changed from unsatisfied to very happy customers
This just goes to show with the correct managers the company will perform well and retain happy customers

This company is a professional outfit! Very clear and responsive. Communication was handled well and information was easy to find and follow. The delivery & install went without a hitch and they were highly professional and informative. Could not have been happier! Also, the tub is great!!
Faulty product - poor customer services
If you purchase a hot tub that works and in good condition then you would most likely rate Johnsons Hot Tubs higher than the two stars. If, however, you have problems with your NEW buy then, as with most reviews have acknowledged their customer care / after sales is poor which brings down the overall star rating! We purchased our hot tub and was initially pleased with the experience and everything went as expected. Unfortunately the hot tub was delivered with a fault and did not work. initial fault finding by the installation team identified a blown fuse. Thanks to the team they brought a new fuse the next day on their way to another job, however, this did not rectify the fault so they said they would need to order a new program board. The board was delivered to the office from the supplier in four days. We were then informed that an engineer was booked in to replace the part in a further THREE weeks time! After numerous phone calls to customer services and post on their social media site the appointment was brought forward by two weeks which was highly appreciated. The engineer (Luke) was fantastic as it took him 8hrs a replacement board and changing the pump to get the hot tub to work (don’t know what the fault was but it didn’t seem to be the pump or board). The engineer did find fault on another part and said it will be ordered. After two weeks of hearing nothing we contacted Johnson’s for an update. Apparently the replacement part is with them and they have booked an appointment with an engineer….. for a further THREE weeks time! we have also started to experience a loud vibration from the panel which the pump is behind (possibly from taking the panels off and fitting a different pump which has created the vibration). As mentioned the installation team and engineers are great and they go out of their way to get you up and running, the issue is receiving a product which is not fit for purpose and the aftercare. When you buy an expensive item you expect it to be delivered in a good working order and when this is not the case you would expect the customer service team to ensure that the customer receives the appropriate due care and attention, which doesn’t seem to be the case with Johnson’s. It’s a shame, as the hot tub is a great addition which we do enjoy using.

Don’t want the business - rude.
Went to show room to buy hot tub. Placed order at 25% off. Told them up front it would be June delivery. Order transferred from Royston to a local branch given our location and they would ring to place deposit. Local branch ring - refuse order. Too long to wait - they want to shift stock. Sales outright rude. Ask original staff (in job a few weeks) who took order to check with management - never ring back. Rude. Went to Hot Tub Barn at Sevenoaks and placed order. Far better service. Ironically the hot tub we tried to order is still in stock and on sale… perhaps if Johnson’s had cared less about shifting stock for a quick buck and focused more on customer service they might have better reviews.
