Very poor advice given
Very poor advice given, I was told my Sinkerator was broken{heater part} just out of warranty and had to purchase a new one, the engineer came out and said it was the tap that was faulty,not the boiler part. Had to pay out for the following:
1 Bolier £257
2 Engineer £150.
And still have a faulty{not working tap} waiting for a phone call back 24 hours later, regards Steve Thompson

Unhappy warranty experience
I bought my original insinkerator hot water boiler in 2023 and just over 1 year later it broke and after contacting the company I was sent a replacement as it has a 2 Yr warranty. Less than 2 years later the replacement has died but they will not replace it because the warranty is linked to the original purchase! Seems rather strange as they are separate machines but they would not budge. They would have got one star had they not given me a 20% discount on a new one. At least that will have a new warranty period. Overall not good!!

Very Unsatisfactory Unit
Nothing wrong with the service engineer who replaced the unit - he was polite and efficient.
However, this is the second time the unit has had to be replaced under warrantee. So, I am now on my third unit with no explanation as to why they keep breaking down. For me this is totally unsatisfactory and if the unit breaks down again I will certainly not be replacing it with another InSinkErator .
