VERY BAD!!!

VERY BAD. This company is a MAJOR SCAM. It is impossible to reach out to them even to make a claim. If you are lucky enough to finally speak to someone and submit your claim, it will take forever for them to get back to you saying they will only cover the cheapest aftermarket part and unreal labor cost. For example with my most recent claim that i submitted more than a year ago, where original part cost is 500$ and cheapest aftermarket price on market for such part is 200$, they told me they were able to find it for 100$. They also covered 1hr of labor for this work when it actually takes 2.5hrs. As a result, they offered to reimburse 180$, when actual repair cost was 850$. In fact, it has been 14 months now since i submitted that claim and around 8 months ago they finally said they approved 180$ and I still dont have my check. During this time i was able to reach to them two times and every time i had to deal super rude, unprofessional and miserable persons, who’s main goal is to make you so pissed, so you dont want call them ever again. They’ll completely ignore your emails.
Now, i need to make another claim with them and I can’t reach to them for 2 month. They either have voice message saying they are closed and try to call tomorrow or put you on hold for hours and eventually hang up on you.
As i was submitting a claim with Department of Consumer Affairs, it came up that some states are ceasing their operation.
As a conclusion… My coverage that is expiring soon, costed 2,400$. Up to date i spent around same amount for repairs they would have to cover as per our agreement and they only reimbursed 250$ and 180$ I’m still waiting from them.
Please be smart enough not to deal with any 3rd party “warranty” company and especially with infinite. The amount you’ll spend will never pay off. Better keep it and spend for actual repairs.

NO REFUND EITHER

Same for me!! Sold car in July, sent them mileage as requested, then "crickets"!!!! You call to find out the problem, all you get is "its in billing, and no one there you can talk with"; no manager, no nothing!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I cancelled my policy over 3 months ago…

I cancelled my policy over 3 months ago and they were supposed to give me back my refund but it's been tied up with billing for the past 3 months..I get the same person Vivi on the phone and I keep asking Raymond to give me a call and no one has called me or made attempt to send refund of any kind. Same answer is billing is handling this and that's all the informartion we have at this time....I have asked to talk to billing...president of the company...anyone else beside Vivi. I always get her after the 35 minute hold time. Stay away from this shady company...

Whoever the owner is. I just want to tell you you are a thief. People cancel their warranty and can not get a refund. They can't speak to someone in charge and they don't pay their claims. You should be ashamed. I hope the state of Michigan shuts you down

1 STAR WARRANTY ~ READ THE FINE PRINT

Sadly I believed I was purchasing a 5 star auto warranty (Platinum Version); however upon my first claim experience (Sept 2021) with my 2017 Infiniti Q50 (original buyer and fully maintained) as a result of a seized compressor which in turn broke the belt, alternator failure and a host of other incidental "chain events" I realized this warranty was indeed not worth anything.

The repair cost was $3100 not including towing and rental vehicle. The APPROVED expense was $400 requiring that my compressor be purchased on EBAY. The service shop refused to take this course of action. I appealed the warranty with no success nor ANY replies from customer service.

One week was wasted ~ one week's worth of rental expense ~ I ultimately got 50% of the repair covered by Infiniti AT the Infiniti dealer where my regular servicing is done ~ they coded the repair under their "goodwill" warranty.

I have cancelled the warranty ~ over a month ago with no sign of a refund check (per contract) NOR correspondence of any type. The denial of the claim was based on one clause in the contract that states any "consequential damage/residual damage" from one event is not covered ~ hence the belt, alternator, etc. which required replacement as a result of the compressor. Further, your vehicle MUST be charged for 6 hours of service work before any reimbursement ($35 p/day) of a rental car therefore I received NO compensation whatsoever for my seemingly ordinary event that occurred with my vehicle ~ the SOLE reason I purchased the warranty was to provide for coverage in this exact type of event.

This company should not be permitted to be in business and I will be addressing the matter in greater detail with the State of Michigan.

UPDATE from 9-24-2021 review: I had policies on 2 cars; see below for how I have been treated on both policies...

I sold one car in June 2021 and sent the documentation to get a refund. To date, I have received no refund and no response except that the refund is being processed.

I made a claim on the 2nd car and got a run-around. They wanted the tile, bill of sale, current registration, and ALL maintenance records back to date of purchase in 2013. I told them that I did not have all of these records and was told my claim could not be processed without full compliance. I cancelled this policy and still have not received a refund.

I would never use this company again for anything!!!!!

Worst Company for Auto Warranty

I've called these guys 10 plus times with no response....They don't answer the phone and when you do answer the phone they hang up on you. Completly unprofessional and I've never had service like this....I need my refund back since I sold my car and they won't return calls or emails...what is next BBB or Dispute with my bank?? Anyone had problems with them like this?

Infinite Auto Protection SCAM STAY AWAY

Purchased warranty in September of 2020. In August of 2021 placed a claim. They want you to order parts from amazon but your mechanic must be able to warranty parts. The claim was for $250 and after 8 weeks they still have not paid. You wait on hold for easy 30-40 minutes to be told "it is in process" they say they are not denying payment but have no payment information. For 8 weeks I'm told its in process....
When the repair shop calls they are put into a voicemail to leave a message but have nevery received a call back in 8 weeks. Please stay away from this company,
I told them I was contacting Attorney General and BBB they don't care. They say "do what you want"...
They promise the world and easy claim process.
It is a nightmare.

COMPLETE 100% SCAM RUN BY SCUM

INFINITE AUTO PROTECTION SUCKS AND ANYONE WHO WORKS FOR INFINITE AUTO PROTECTION IS SCUM. NOTHING BUT THIEVES WHO SPEND THEIR LIVES LITERALLY FINDING WAYS TO MAKE UP EXCUSES TO NOT HONOR LEGIT SERVICE REQUESTS! NEVER, EVER GO WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU EVER EXPECT TO FILE A CLAIM AND HAVE YOUR CAR REPAIRED. I HAD A STRAIGHTFORWARD TRANSMISSION CASE ON A SUBARU THAT WAS WELL-MAINTAINED BY THE BOOK. THEY DENIED MY CLAIM WITH A HORSESHIT EXCUSE AND ARE A 100% SCAM. I WILL BE FILING SMALL CLAIMS, CIVIL SUIT, AND A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE MICHIGAN ATTORNEY GENERAL.

I wish I had seen these reviews before…

I wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased a policy which I did in February of 2020. In June 0f 2021 I place my first and only claim. Anti-freeze was leaking into the water pump which is located in the engine. The job was estimated by my mechanic and refused because they claim my car was overheating which is was not. They were rude and unrelenting. I reported them to my states department of insurance as well as the BBB.

Shady company

Shady company. On the phone, sales staff tells you anything you want to hear. However, as soon as you try to file a claim, they work very hard to find any little reason to deny the claim! Do not waste your money with this unscrupulous company!

I sure wish I had read these before purchasing my policy. My experience has been terrible as well and I have been waiting for over a year for my refund after cancellation. Why are bogus companies like this allowed to continue operating.

Bait & Switch

I filed a policy cancellation request with Infinite Auto Protection on June 1st and still haven't had it processed. Every time I call, up until today, I have been told "billing is processing it". Every singe time I then request to speak to a supervisor. Their rep, Vivi, tells me there is no way for that to occur & that a request must be submitted for a call back. I have yet to get a call back from anyone & I've been requesting to speak to a supervisor since early July. It's now September and nothing. Additionally, when I called today, I was auto disconnected every single time; tried from multiple phones and got disconnected 12+ time. I cannot get ahold of a single human no matter what prompts I do or do not hit. They are not honoring the contract's cancellation provision and for all intensive purposes have stolen from me as a result.

I purchase a extended warranty in…

I purchase a extended warranty in February 2020. I needed A repair for the vehicle and Was denied. I decide to cancel the extended Warranty on November 2020. I Docu Sign the email that was sent in December 2020 for a refund of $940.89. I am still waiting on my refund.

I started to call customer service on 4/12/2021 and it is still in billing dept. 5/2021 called again it stated that Status Is ready to release funds. 6/14/2021 called again and now we are back to the billing dept. Called again 6/17 & 6/29/2021 still waiting on the Billing Dept. Called 8/10/2021 still waiting for the Billing Dept. You ask for management and customer service will not transfer the call, because they can’t. In all these calls I have told them to send emails to management to call me and I have yet to receive a call. This company is a sham and a disgrace!!! I will let people know not to do business with this company, but I will continue to call until I get my refund.

If I could rate this company-5stars I…

If I could rate this company-5stars I would. Everything people say about this company is true. I needed new control arms, the inspector canceled twice to come see the car. The dealership wanted $$$ for the repairs as usual. I needed the car and the loaner from the dealership I couldn’t take out of town. Low and behold they refused the claim saying I drove the car and didn’t stop any further damage as described in the contract. Truth is they didn’t want to pay the money. So I get in contact with a supervisor he tells me I can take it elsewhere and they will reimburse me. I pay $1200 for the repairs they say they will cover $300. Like WTH. It’s now been 4 months and I still haven’t gotten my reimbursement. Each month I call it’s the same B.S. story it’s being processed. They are the FNworst

Beware of this Fraudulent Company

Beware of this company. Not only will they actively work to breach their own contract (i.e. not pay you for things specifically allowed by their contract), when you attempt to cancel, they will low-ball your refund and try to include charges which are neither explained (i.e. hidden) nor allowed, and they also try to get you to sign a 'release' before they send you your refund which requires you to give up all rights to further dispute the refund (none of these additional requirements are spelled out in their contract).
Additionally, when you try to hold them to their contract by requesting arbitration (a separate and distinct provision in their contract), they work to delay the arbitration and then, when the arbitration goes against them, they refuse to abide by the decision and not pay. That is until you file a complaint with the Michigan AG's office (MI AG complaint ID 2021-cp08091536678-A) and notify their registered agent - will they finally pay up.
This is all factual and can be verified by researching the BBB of Eastern Michigan's case ID 15405976, which is the method I had to go through to even get IAP to even respond to my complaints.
Here is a portion of the brutally honest arbitration decision in our favor vs. IAP:
"This arbitrator has carefully reviewed the full contract, testimony of the parties, the written
communications between the parties, and the cancellation form requirements. It is my finding that this contract is unconscionable.... Further, this arbitrator finds that IAP breached its own contract by failing to pay diagnostic fees when the repair part is a covered part....This arbitrator further finds that the disputed contract is unconscionable because IAP is
positioned by this contract to retroactively take back the very benefit (paid claims) that the consumers have paid valuable consideration ($xxxx.00) to receive plus additional money even though IAP has breached the contract by failing to pay the full diagnostic fees that the consumer was entitled to at the time of the repair claims and prompted the dispute that caused the cancellation."
Caveat Emptor with this fly-by-night business.

sold my car in April 2021

sold my car in April 2021, submitted my millage and all required information and since then they have held up my refund. Each month I call im given the same script..they have my info, its processed, it's with tye billing dept., that's another entity, they can't give me the billing number, a manger will call me; no one has ever returnedmy call. After waitung over an hour each month to speak to someone same and receive the same script, they always hang up on my face when I won't except the repeating update. Horrible orginaztion. Liers. They cover absolutely nothing. There so many clause when you need to use it. Several horrible customers service. It a big scam.
