I have been unlawful in New Zealand for 15 years,my wife had a deportation order and been unlawful for 10 years and our 9 years old NZ born son unlawful since he was born. Once it was granted, he managed to cancel the deportation order placed on my wife, and applied for Section 61, which was successful.

A few years ago when I applied for my first visa to visit New Zealand, aiming to visit my partner. As a first-time traveller, I turned to the internet for guidance on the visa process.
