Had solar installed then a couple of years later it kept shorting out we had unstalled in 2019 and have been fighting to have it fixed or replaced
They avoid calls when i ask for Morris if he exists always at lunch or on leave or sick.
Now they are telling me it is out of warranty although i have sent them the contract that states 10 year warranty

DONOT USE this company we signed a contract in Dec to secure the price and after many pics and videos they kept stalling on installation date tell us 4 months later it was going to cost another $6000 buyer beware

I signed a contract with them being adamant thst he would be able to have it installed. He then had me pay for changes to allow for the solar before cancelling thr contract and costing me the higher rebate.
Do not trust.

Have had 2 solar installs, both with problems but eventually sorted out.
Deposit paid for home battery and then 3 months of delays and non responses , then told reason was bad battery location, location was their recommendation. As others have mentioned it's one excuse after another.
Then tried to charge extra $500 citing rebate change so we cancelled. They rolled back the $500 citing a misunderstanding. I still cancelled and found out the deposit is not refundable citing time limits on refund which isn't mentioned in contract.
Mark has good pricing but you might have to jump through hoops to get it.
Is it worth it, depends on what your time is worth.

Spoke to Mark from Igreen energy and was give a quote for a 32KW battery system and was told this included black out back up with installation. The installer came around to size up job and suitable
area for install.
He then informed me that he was told not the connect for black out protection, to which I rang Mark and he then changed his mind and said it would be an extra $500 for black out protection.
I reluctantly agreed was sent new quote for a fully installed system.
I paid the 20% deposit of over $2000 and install was Sur post to start 29th of Dec.
I was also told it would back up the whole house in the case of a Black out, But I found out that it would only back up 20amp, which is a one power circuit and If i am lucky a Lighting circuit.
I sent them a email asking when the install would commence and was rung on the 7 Jan stating that it would be an extra $1500 to install due to Ergon needing a different Invertor. Which they new before Christmas by I believe they were waiting for the 10day cooling off period to finish.
I explained that the cost was just too much to justify now at which I was told 10day period had past and was not possible now.
I then brought to Mark's attention Clause 4.1(b) and Clause 5.3 where it states if there is a change in price I can ask for a refund and the quote I have was for a fully installed system. Which he replied it does not count in the case.

I have been waiting 4+ months for a solar battery install since paying the deposit. Initially I was getting fobbed off with lame excuses for the delay, but now they won't reply to my emails or phone calls.
I gave them 5 stars when they installed my solar panels, now down to zero stars - don't trust them !!

UPDATE. As a result of this review and another, I have been contacted by IGreen. Still no installation date, not even a forecast, but they have promised to honour the price even after the Government payments reduce on 1 Jan - which of course is only good if they eventually do the install.
I'm in wait and see mode for the next month or so.

Not great - very pushy, a lot of communication on initial offer, however, then the ‘extra’s add up…this extra, that extra. I then cancelled order, requested my fully refundable deposit back….and what do you know…silence. I will continue to chase my deposit back.

Edit - i have had multiple texts from this company, claiming they do in fact repay deposits etc….and what do you know - still no deposit refunded, 20 days later…!

I cancelled the job due to not providing a install date failure to return calls or emails 16 weeks from sign up and no confirmed date provided. A very unprofessional company. Luckily I lost only a small application fee. After this review was posted I got a call from them asking me to change review which I refused. In saying that they apologised and offered a refund of my deposit this was before the request to reword the review. The money is back in my account.

First the guy I was dealing with his name is John, his freaking rude, I booked with him to do solar for my brother Inlaw after they did my solar, actually it was big mistake I went with them, he lied to me couple times, and lied to my brother Inlaw he let him take couple days off work to do the solar then when they came they told him we don’t have the bracket for it, after that I called John to put batteries, he lied like usual about the federal and nsw rebates,

And I can prove it by how many contracts he send me, then I made the deal with him he charged me for 3 batteries after rebate $4000 His lier because after he said I can’t do it you have to pay $7000,

Then I showed him a quote from another company $5920 for 30kw

The we agreed but he lied about the finance he told me interest free, actually it wasn’t, he was charging me $1000 extra

I called he was rude and he told me, be quite let me talk and you don’t even understand the way his talking, I asked him to cancel the contract and he said you will loose your deposit, I said to him no that’s illegal I have 10 days cooling off

And the deal was $6000 for 30 kws I asked John if I want to do finance do I pay more and he said no only $200 I took the deal he send me the link from bright finance and the total was $6418 I called John I said to him why and he said the finance company they charged us more then private, I didn’t believe him so I called the finance company and he told me no that’s completely wrong, you only have to pay $200 extra

Two days ago I received and email from John asking me to pay %50 before installation, and the actually contract says full amount after installation, I sent an email to John I told him that’s illegal you breaching the contract,and he said the manager he changed his mind and he decide to take %50 percent.

Don’t go with this company They are liars I contact fair trading today and they told me that’s illegal

Avoid at all costs, very professional and do everything to get the sale. After the sale you get no help, once they have your money they want nothing to do with you. I have even messaged the manager about an issue I have and he ignores it. If you want a company with great after sales service avoid this company at all cost

Dealt with Adam and Neil at igreen, great guys keeping us informed and still 9+ months later making sure we are happy. We bought outright a 10kw system 3 phase compatible. $6000. Would recommend these guys or deal with them again.

Do your research

I had the system installed in February 2020. Right from the start Riana was on the ball. She kept me informed every step of the way. She comes across very polite and helpful. All my questions were answered by her both via phone and emails. The price was also competitive. The installation team including the electrician were quite professional. The issue with the wifi was also resolved. So the after sales experience was good. I would have no problems in recommending this company for your Solar power needs. Ask for Riana you wont be disappointed.

For the period 1st May to 2nd June 2020 we saved over 50% on our Electricity. We are very happy with the Igreen Energy service and therefore we certainly recommend the LG panels and IGreen Energy. Great service and a great investment!

The price of solar system is very good. Riana is very helpful and always reply my emails and my questions promptly. The solar application and installation was organised very fast, only one week after I signed the contract. Overall satisfied.
