Asked for advice for curtains to match pink bedding . Curtains actually purple -guess what I have to pay to return.
Customer service not interested
Would not buy from them again

Extremely rude customer service!
Sent me out a broken mirror, which took almost 2 weeks to arrive. When I complained they asked me to return it at my own expense, as they don’t believe a large dented scratch to be faulty, as the mirror will be facing the wall and it won’t be seen. Shocking!!!
The so called Manager was extremely unprofessional and rude.
I just wish I had read the reviews. Stay away from this untrustworthy company.
I will open a dispute with my bank.
I’m disgusted these people are allowed to even trade. Selling broken and damaged items from what I can see from other peoples reviews.

I ordered some towels and when they arrived, two were a different colour to the rest of the set. I requested a return but was told I'd have to pay the return postage myself (it totalled £8.09) I argued and argued the point that they were at fault, but they absolutely refused to send me a prepaid label.disgusting company and terrible customer service. The order took ages to come anyway, the box looked really old, used and battered and the towels were rubbish quality. Do not order from Ideal because if something is wrong with your goods, they don't want to know. I am still awaiting a refund and have escalated with paypal

Disappointed in curtain quality. Description stated blackout curtains, however they are very thin and let a fair amount if light through. Curtain stitching not great either, however this cannot be seen.

8 years ago I bought some lovely curtains from Ideal, which were cheap and cheerful and they were fabulous and I’ve still got them albeit the lining has started to split, no big deal. I found some cushion covers I loved the look of on the 28th of August and remembering how pleased I was previously, I was confident in ordering them even though they are rather pricey, but I had searched for ages for ones I liked . The delivery window was between Friday 1st Sept to Monday 4th September. Today is Wednesday 6th September and they’ve still not arrived! They were advertised as being “ in stock “ but when I phoned to enquire why they were taking so long ( supposedly by express delivery £4 extra ) the lady explained that they were “ due in today “ , so they wasn’t actually in their stock and ready to be picked and despatched at all . As I’ve not actually seen them , they might turn out to be a mistake like some other reviewers have found with their purchases. I think that in these days of next day delivery, it would be better if they were more realistic with their delivery estimates or were more communicative if things don’t go to plan. I’m actually away on holiday now and obviously wanted them to arrive before I left. Obviously I can divert the parcel to a neighbour, but I shouldn’t have to do that if they’d turned up as promised. Just be warned that if you want something by a specific time, it might not arrive .

Items finally arrived Thursday 7th of September. After despairing that they might have got lost in transit I searched online for replacements . Lo and behold I found the same ones £3 cheaper ( I bought three ) plus a %10 off first order promotion. I would have saved myself £10 and a lot waiting if I’d bought from elsewhere. Won’t be spending my money with them again .

Everything awful. The material, the stiching wonky, unlined, holes, just a mess!! Curtains advertised with a completely different picture. Do not buy from this company. Waste of time.

Ordered curtains from this company, if i had read the reviews first i wouldnt have bothered. 3 weeks later i was still waiting phone the company who said to give them time to check with courier. The only good thing is i have now received a full refund.

Order has taken longer than I thought it would as it was express delivery.
Colour of curtains as on website one set has a flaw line all the way across on one curtain.
Supposed to be black out and thermal,definitely not black out,as for thermal will have to see come winter .
Wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing.
Would not recommend and won’t be using this company again.

I was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews here. However, all was well and good. I ordered some home decor pieces, and received in a timely manner, less than a week turnaround. Packaged really well, communication good regarding shipping and a nice quality product which I had seen elsewhere for almost double the price. Happy customer.

Purchased some towels from this company, they arrived and had to return them! Look nothing like the pictures, bad quality. To top it off it cost me £6 in postage to send them back!

I have bought a Roman blind and set of bedsheets from Ideal. I just want to compliment the product, especially the blind that is made from a nice fabric and gives a lovely accent to my hallway. I wish there was a way to attach pictures to the reviews because it looks stunning. Installation was straight forward too.

Ordered eyelet blackout curtains.

They are not blackout! They let even a glimmer of light through, in direct sunlight, the window faces east, the whole room is lit by a golden glow!
They are totally useless.

I bought what were advertised as “thermal blackout” curtains only to find they are not.
I purchased them beginning of December, but did not arrive until the end of the month due to cancelled deliveries. I did not hang them up until March once the renovations to my house were complete.
The colour is perfect for my room but they are not thermal blackout curtains. They have no lining just one layer of material.
I have reached out to customer services and the response was basically without the packaging and the fact it is over the 30 day returns policy, they can’t do anything. Despite me giving photos showing no blocking of the light, the response was this:

“The lining for these curtains is part of the facing fabric and not a separate lining. This is quite common for curtains nowadays. As stated on the listing:

“These blackout curtains will block out 85-95% of sunlight and UV rays thanks to their innovative triple layer technology and also have thermal and noise reducing qualities, keeping your home warm in winter, saving energy and lowering your bills.”

As these curtains were purchased at the beginning of December we are no longer able to accept these back for a refund or an exchange. We have a 28 day returns period in which you can return items back to us for a full refund or an exchange if you are not happy with them.”

WARNING TO ALL although the curtains look great in the picture, if they do not show you the underside of the curtains in the photos, check if they have a lining before you buy. If you don’t, you will be greatly disappointed and wasted time and money!!!

Ordered a bath mat from this company. After one use, a pink colour appeared in some places across white areas of the mat. The colour from the stitching was running and dyeing the mat pink! After only a few more uses, the mat is almost entirely pink where the colour has run, along with yelIow areas - also caused by the pink/brown stitching not being colour fast.

I have emailed the company and sent photos but they say that because the product wasn't faulty when it arrived, they will not refund or exchange. I have emailed multiple times expiring that bath mat that you cannot get wet is not fit for purpose and therefore faulty, however I keep getting the same response - that the mat has been stained by use.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They sell poor quality items and are currently refusing to accept fault. I will continue to email them until I get an acceptable response. It is interesting to note how many people appear to have had similar experiences, both on their Facebook page and on here.

The product was horrific. I didn't get around to unpacking until the day I needed it after we moved house and then had to source an alternative at short notice. Obviously I couldn't return the bedding I'd opened and during the process of moving, which was quite chaotic, time escaped, as it tends to when you work full time and spend your free time trying to unpack. I requested a return, explaining the situation to be told very unempathetically that I was 10 days over their policy time limit, no exception.
Well 5 days of that was spent waiting for the product to arrive or for a response, sorry, a decision on how to return the unuseable items.

Waste of money, waste of time. Terrible customer service.
Looking on here so many customers seem to have had issues with items being of very poor quality.
I recommend you shop elsewhere!

Good reasonably priced product. However they offer Express delivery no option of Standard delivery. Their idea of Express takes up to a week and you are charged extra for this.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Ordered some voile curtains, the photos showed a grey blue colour, but the description said navy. when they arrived they were a hideous bright royal blue, so neither as shown in photos on their website or as described, as clearly not navy. quality was awful too. so not what I ordered. when I asked to return them was told i had had what I ordered ! I had to pay to return them , id already paid to have these delivered too. now they are saying I can't have a refund as not all the packaging was there. they never said I had to send them back in original packaging but I did apart from some pieces of plain cardboard ! now saying will send back to me and no refund, what a waste of money and a cop out.

Absolutely disgusting company. I am taking this further. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! they will say anything to wriggle out of giving a refund.

After reading all the many negative reviews I see sending the wrong colour or item is a common theme with this terrible company!

Cushion covers looked quite nice but were made from a hard stiff fabric. Communication with the company was not the best. Although they are very clear that all returns are your responsibility, return costs are expensive and the cost could be prohibitive. Would not recommend.
