It just doesn’t work

It just doesn’t work.

I tried to sign up over 5 times, and the technology kept failing. Accepting payment but then sending a email saying the subscription couldn’t be created.

Essentially scammed me out of a free trial just trying to get it to work.

A scam, and ruined my perception of Binge.

HUBBL IS SPAM!

Why is there no reviewing system on their app or google? Oh that's why because their average is 1 star!!! Hubbl has taken money out of my account unauthorised it developers need to fix their app. The buttoned said continue* but it took payment, sorry what?? There was not a billing information page or a button saying Take payment button* or even a check box option for saved card payments?*. It took the payment unauthorised, wanted more information not take payment tried to correct it with their service team minutes after bur nope?! Apparently its a change of mind!!! When I messaged minutes after the notification appeared in my bank never used the Kayo app and I didn't authorise the payment. Yes card detailed will be saved who pays their subscription for Netflix manually??? Any new payments in the app must be correctly informed and correctly authorised. Mind my grammar, writing with rage!

Would give this zero if I could

Would give this zero if I could. Catch up apps require me to activate everytime I use them. Cannot set default app so always have to select a channel each time I turn it on. The interface is horrible. Does not remember shows I was watching forcing me to search everytime. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money.

Even two stars is generous

Even two stars is generous. It keeps shutting down and giving no signal then when rebooting there's a constant problem with the PIN. The first time it happened a person talked (on the phone) me through it and in 10 minutes it was working. The second time after multiple chats were disconnect and I was told multiple time they were "escalating " the issue, I got an email saying someone will be in touch by email in a couple of days. This problem was highlighted in an email saying they don't know why there's an issue and gave people a credit on their account. I have been using the Hubbl for just over a month. Pretty poor technology and really poor customer service. No offer of replacement if it is only 'some' devices or obviously no long term solution and maybe you get someone to help, maybe not and you have to wait days for an email. Not a phone call. Very very disappointing. I will be returning it.

Hubbl is an overcharging SCAM subscription service

I never signed up with Hubbl I was paying for Binge. I didnt even know they had changed billing services until I had to change my password and then noticed that I was getting charged for a PREMIUM Netflix account ontop of my Binge account. I use my brothers Netflix account, I dont need one of my own.

I opened Netflix and typed in my email address and phone number details under 'Forgot password' and both entries came up as 'having no account'. So either someones hacked my service and signed up to this with a different Netflix log-in details (dont know how) or Hubbl has a system problem which overcharges people. I emailed their complaints/help team with screenshots of not owning a Netflix account. The first customer service person was sympathetic and said they would escalate this to the compensation team but then I got a secondary email blaming me for "forgetting to sign up or change of mind purchase" and have refused to refund me for months of having a Premium Netflix account that I can't access. I've emailed them back asking to escalate this to a manager or supervisor who can remedy the situation and I have filed a complaint with the ACCC.

Do NOT use this service, there are other complaints online about people having the same issue of being overcharged for streaming services they didnt sign up for. Of continuously being charged for months after cancelling subscriptions and they also DO NOT allow you to remove your credit card details from their site and make you go through a different web system to APPLY to have your account closed. They are predatory.

CANT DOWNLOAD STREAMING APPS
Incredibly terrible product.
Only got it due to Telstra tv ending and Hamish and Andy ads 😓 I trusted those guys 🤦🏽‍♀️
Do not buy! Really not even worth the 100 dollar bucks.
And also exact same hardware box as Telstra tv but somehow less reliable. Amazing that Telstra can be beaten in that sense really, yet here we are

Horrendous idea

What a horrible idea and experience. I was doing just fine before Hubbl. Customer experience is horrible, it's taken all choice away from the consumer, and I just can't help but imagine some fat cat getting rich behind the scenes for doing absolutely nothing than I didn't have before

Pathetic

Kayo - A joke. 6 years later and still the streams cut out and lag frequently. If you tell them to fix it they blame your internet... Reduced my simultaneous screens from 3 to 2 and then upped the price while also losing sports. Took them 5 years to bring out 4K streaming which should have been there from the get go.

Binge - Was fine, not great. That was before they started running ads on a paid service.. Disgusting. This should not become the norm.

Flash - Lol, lmao even.

Lifestyle - All of those junk filler shows you used to get on free to air, except now for $8 dollars a month.

Fox is just lucky it basically has a monopoly over subscription tv in Australia because Hubbl wouldn't last a week in any other country.

Zero Stars – Terrible Customer Service

Hubbl is well on track to earning a reputation for the worst customer service possible. It seems like customer support is not part of their company policy at all. The entire focus is purely on marketing and taking your money. If you encounter glitches or issues with their system, don’t expect any help—because you won’t get it.

They won’t respond to your problems, and you’ll end up paying for months of a subscription before you even get a reply. By the time you do, you’ll probably want to cancel the service because it’s unusable. Save your money and go directly to the streaming platforms instead.

Honestly don’t waste your money

Honestly don’t waste your money. Hubbl is the worst product I’ve used to stream. It’s full of glitches, a pain to set up and the audio won’t sync to the picture.
Their customer service (or lack of) is appalling and their solution to fixing the audio syncing problem was to sell it or give it to a friend!
Absolute rubbish!

If I could give zero

If I could give zero, I would.
I've connected Telstra tv, Optus fetch, Telstra fetch, Chromecast and Amazon firestick.
I have never come across a more glitchy product. It won't recognise passwords, can't be registered, reboots do nothing but make you follow the same steps to the same negative result.
Online help is useless, escalated help is the same, it's the product and your glitchy systems.
I'm going to buy one of the above or just suffer my Telstra fetch box, anything is better than Hubbl at this point.

31/10/24. In Hubbl defence, they resent me a new device which connected much more easily. Still had issues with PIN recognition and still haven't heard back from online help but the unit is working, I quite like the platform.
My experience may not be isolated, or I may have been unlucky with my first device.
Still not a fan of help side of things.

November 29th. They reached out, I responded immediately, no response for weeks. This is a very poorly supported product. If you need help you are on your own.
I still have trouble with this device. If I turn it off, it won't come back on unless we go through the PIN issue I can't solve with them. It is rubbish for me.
Turn it off, turn it on next day, everything works again.

I'm currently sitting here writing this review because I can't turn it back on having turned it off.

I'm dumping this. This is my last review of a very inferior product with THE worst after sales help I have ever experienced.

Bye bye Trubbl.

Absolute waste of time and money

Absolute waste of time and money. Have had it for 6 weeks and still haven't been able to use it because it doesn't work. They have incorrect details on my account that can't be changed therefore I cannot set the device. It has been ridiculous. I have asked for my money back multiple times to get an automated response. You cannot speak to a human to resolve the issues - only a chat bot. I do NOT recommend buying...too hard to deal with.

Hubbl is very buggy and best to avoid

Last year I tried to cancel my Binge subscription, it was extremely difficult through Hubbl with “merchant error” and other issues, but after weeks I finally managed it.

We want to watch Binge, however Binge can only be streamed through Hubbl so we thought we would try again, this time we can’t register, OTP doesn’t work so I can’t sign in, online help has been no help at all.

Compared to other streaming services, Hubbl is by far the worst, it’s extremely buggy and has very poor support, however if you want to watch Binge in Australia, you have no choice. I hope Binge moves to a new streaming service soon.

Absolute crap and going in the bin tomorrow… avoid at all cost.
Error messages all the time and constantly having to reboot. Whenever I want to watch fta tv have to reload the channel. It’s possible that this is a well thought out scam…

Binge-Hubble can't be trusted

Binge-Hubble is a bunch of scammers! They make it impossible to cancel the subscription, and thus they keep charging you after the cancellation. When I tried reasoning with them by email, they refused my request to refund the money which they had taken AFTER I cancelled the subscription. What happened next is they cancelled it for me upon my request, and even after that, they charged me again! This raises an issue of security and trust. They are not to be trusted - that's for sure!

HUBBL is a scam

HUBBL is a scam.

It does the same thing as your smart TV or any other smart device like Apple TV or the free to air streaming services etc. The fact that you can't record anything isn't explained in the chats that I have had nor readily available on the website.

I set up the device over the weekend and it was a pain, and it was only hooked up for a few hours. I contacted them to get a refund but the box is not returnable, nor are the set up charges. THIS BOX WILL GO INTO THE RUBBISH!! They said I can on sell it but I don't want to sell it to some unsuspecting person wanting some they just don't need, STAY AWAY at all costs.

Hubbi A Failed Device.

Hubbi device failed twice, returned the device to JB HIFI and received a full refund. I agree with the previous customers complaints the device is beset with technical issues. I now use Google Chrome cast.No issues with that device on my TCL Smart TV.

I was supposed to receive a $25 gift voucher in my account, and have received at least 6 emails saying I've received it, but no, I haven't! I've given up, next time they have an outage I'll bin the box and go with another company!

The absolute worst product I have ever…

The absolute worst product I have ever brought! Whoever sign off on its release to market when it is clearly not fit for use should be sacked! I have reset it so many times. Help they provide is cut and paste of info online that has already been tried and doesn't work. No escalation to fix the issue. In the bin it goes.
