Remote stopped work after a couple of…

Remote stopped work after a couple of weeks. Put in a warranty claim got one email back. Was suggested we use the live chat but kept going around in circles as it is a robot reply not a person. Anyway sent an email with the information. No reply from hubbl after 2 months. Have sent another email to them we will wait to see if they respond

Charging after cancelling and refusing to refund

Should have read the reviews earlier. It was the second time I was charged after cancelling but the first time, I believed them that I failed to cancel but I knew I am still entitled for a refund anyway. Now, without touching my hubbl for months, there is another charge and they wouldn't let me refund again. I disputed with my bank and immediately closed my hubbl account.

The cancelling process is obscure

The cancelling process is obscure. There is a direction to click the complete button when there is only a confirm button. There are a number of uncertainties when cancelling that are obviously deliberate. What a scam in the hope you don’t effectively cancel and you are signed up unknowingly for at least another month

DO NOT BUY HUBBLDo not buy HUBBL biggest waste of money ever. I use the apps for each steaming service instead . the hubbl device has to much crap on it and you can not set it up the way you want to . AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE . they take ur money and hope you fail . I think of myself as very tech savvy but this is crap . I have tryd to contact there support a number of times ,Just other waste of time . wish i could get my money back . STICK TO THE APPS AND GOOGLE CHROME CAST

Hubbl and Binge disappointed

We had to move from Netflix to binge to watch outlander..... In the process decided to go with hubbl. Worst decision ever. Binge for starters has an interface that is frustrating to navigate, also have to watch ads now....greedy Foxtel.....Netflix had no ads. The hubbl box crashes and freezes at least once a day. When using non Foxtel apps through hubbl, such as amazon Netflix and Disney...it takes a long time to load and they freeze every now and then. After all this we needed a replacement remote and they want to charge 35 dollar's. No thanks. Gone back to our smart tvs basic interface with all the apps we need. Much better.

What is the value of Hubbl?

What is the value of Hubbl? A terrible interface, and its still difficult to cancel subscriptions. More "bloatware", trying to insert them selves in the transaction, taking a clip along the way without making the consumer's life any easier.

This is just a $100 boomer trap

This is just a $100 boomer trap. My mum bought one much to my dismay considering she has a smart tv and a chromecast. She brought on vacation with us in case the places we were going didn’t have smart TVs.
The interface is utter shit, the lists aren’t organised, it doesn’t have a continue watching list or any features that the individual apps have. I think this product is dishonest and frankly a predatory scam.

Do not trust the customer service…

Do not trust the customer service department of this company.Emails to customers include blatantly incorrect information regarding monthly pricing details and deals. When challenged you are given the runaround and refused a refund even though you have emails from them supporting your pricing claim. Stay clear of their subscription TV subsidiaries!

Deliberate Con. Dont do it.

Like everyone else here i was charged after i cancelled. I lost 3x17.99 for disney i didnt want or use.

The cancelling process is deliberately counter intuitive.

After you have cancelled a subsvription and get a tick confirming its cancelled and return to the main screen you then have to click a button that confirms the subscription amount you just cancelled as if you are reauthorising.

They are deliberately confusing people so they dont complete the process. Once you see a tick saying the service is cancelled then return to the main screen wouldnt you assume its cancelled?

Slow
Makes the most horrific static noise
Contacted hubbl who refused to refund but suggested I “sell it” so unprofessional
Don’t waste your money
Any smart tv does the exact same thing but less hassle

VERY HARD TO CANCEL (BY DESIGN)

I signed up for a subscrition with Hubbl then proceeded to cancel within the trial month. They have purposefuly designed a VERY confusing cancellation process that keeps you going on loops and inadvertently re-signing up every time you attempt to cancel. At the time I had assumed my cancellation was completed; only to find out it wasn't when I was charged a monthly fee a few weeks later (which they refused to refund). This is a very dishonest business.

Horrible experience

Honestly, this company is a joke. I cancelled the month before and got charged this month, then went to check and cancelled again and was gaslit that I didn't cancel the previous month then told they would have to 'escalate' for a refund. I'm not the only person this has happened to. Whatever you do, keep a paper trail if you do sign up with them or they will gaslight you to hell for 10 bucks.

How is this company legal??????

Please tell me how it is possible to access someone's account without their authority?
Hubbl seem to have the "right" to do this. Let's start from the biggening:
I signed with KAYO for a month free. Unfortunately, we have a subscription of Binge which we are dispensing with.
After the expiry date of this "free month", I cancelled (so I believed).
I tried to contact someone in the company by phone. Of course, it was impossible to talk to a "person" to cancel so I went through the channels they have to cancel subscriptions on their website.
Much to my surprize after completing the cancellation, I found my account had been accessed for yet another month's subscription!!!! In fact, they have been helping themselves to $25/month for the past 4 months!!!!!
I sent 27 emails back and forth, to no avail.
To validate my claim, I can access the emails, account withdrawals and cancellations date. Their responses were all AI generated emails containing this convoluted response with a fabricated name to sign off.
They claimed, each time I emailed them, they did not have access to my account details, yet they continued drawing money from my account (without authorization!!)
Can someone please explain how this legal???????
Where is the authorities to oversee this illegal activity.
This has to be a criminal offence!

I would give this less than 1 star. The fact you can only get binge through this app is so awful. I made an account for my mum, initially for the sports, but I cancelled it and she still was getting billed. I sent complaint, you can’t even email them back to reply…they send it from emails that are invalid to reply. It’s frustrating and feels untrustworthy. You can’t talk to someone on the phone…I finally spoke to someone on chat that seemed real…even though they said they would completely cancel the account upon my request, I don’t feel confident they will. Can’t we do something about this shit?!?!??
