They hide the ability to cancel their service by obfuscating the area with a confusing banner. The banner gives the appearance you are signing up for another service, listing the price next to the confirm button. I’m not well versed in legislation but I feel this constitutes grounds for a lawsuit.
This resulted in two additional charges because I believed I had cancelled two months ago.
A refund is desirable. A lawsuit is preferable.

The worst
The worst. 3 months in a row I tried to cancel my binge subscription. Every time I tried the website showed this had been cancelled, yet the money kept being deducted. I got in touch via their chat bot after the third attempt who then said I needed to provide evidence that I had tried canceling, aka they wanted screenshots or email evidence confirming the cancellations. The bot confirmed my cancellation when I requested this. When I asked why I had not received an email confirmation with this 4th attempt I was simply told they will send a manual confirmation, which they did. This proved their auto cancellation system does not work. Now it remains to be seen if the bot/human followed through on cancelling my subscription. Terrible experience

They will not process your request and if you ask for complaints they tell you too bad. Refuse to give details for contact if you wish to complain. Stay away from them. Their product offering is shit anyway.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Atrocious customer service, ignore all complaints, admit there is a possibility of getting double billed through their service, do not offer or consider refunds, refer me to Netflix for resolution even though billed through their service. Don't do it, awful product.

Hubbl hub frustrating setup experience
Bought the Hubbl hub at jbhifi and plugged it all in. The easy part. Then the frustration. Only wanted the puck as a set top box for free to air, live and ondemand.
Set-up took hours.
Couldn't find my network when it did said password wrong Couldn't connect. After resetting numerous times turning tv, puck and modem off and on got to updating software message. NOT. Tried live chat on phone Hubbl help USELESS and slow. After 5 hours ready to take back to store. No instructions in box NONE. but I did create an account with no payment method. Originally thought software would ask on tv setup. Tried a couple more times and got it going.
Terrible Customer Experience
I tried to upgrade my account to premium, the process failed. I contacted their support through live chat, explained the situation, shared the screenshot. Then via email, had the exact same conversation, replicated, all the same questions and more. Then another email thread opened and I had 2 consultants communicating with me simultaneously about my issue, via email, in the same thread.
Thought about consolidating my streaming services into hubbl but after this experience I will never use or recommend this service to anyone.

Some sort of scam going on that needs investigating more seriously. Every body needs to log start logging reports to the ACCC there are way too many instances of this happening to people. Had a subscription to Binge, Randomly received an email saying I’ve signed up to Kayo sports and $40 taken my account. Contacted the customer support through the webchat to be told that I would have authorised it after explaining that I didn’t lol, they claimed that I would have put in a ‘verification code’ I received no such text or email funnily enough. I asked for proof of the message sent that would have contained the authorisation code and they cannot provide it Shock! Being refused a refund as it’s a change of mind apparently.. no you’ve taken my money without my permission you bunch of flops. It’s either a glitch in their system or a blatant scam and the customer support is non existent. Need to raise an investigation with the bank now. Fun times indeed.

had a code for a digital membership of an AFL club, entered it and thought it had worked. Charged two weeks later, the customer support were woeful, first day 'spoke' to the bot for a while before it said customer service would reach out during business hours. Fine. But, they never did. Got onto a real person second time round, they were useless and didn't help nor care. Very poor quality platform and customer service.

Do not go near. The worst customer service experience. You can only use online chats, no phone number is available, therefore you will waste your life away with customer service people who really couldn't care less. They take many minutes to answer your chat and then fob you off or end the chat saying 'lost connection' or 'sorry, you did this or that'. This signup had been a dreadful experience and if you encounter any problems you won't find/get or have any help to fix anything. Run.

I feel blessed reading these reviews that I was unable to sign up. Had a random person's details and credit card when I tried to buy, and had no option to change it. Customer service was crazy bad, like they don't have reading comprehension. Most bizarre thing ever, Hamish and Andy should be ashamed.

Waste of money
Absolutely terrible device. Software is full of bugs, customer service is all online, they are extremely slow to reply and rude. Have tried to return the device because of all the errors but they state they don't offer refunds for change of mind, even though the item is faulty. Will be lodging a claim with department of fair trading. Save your money, don't buy this product!
Worst Experience of my Life
I signed up for Hubbl, genuinely excited about the minor savings I could get by "stacking" my multiple subscriptions. But what was advertised as a simple, seamless process has turned out to be the most convoluted, frustrating, and downright infuriating experience I’ve ever had with a service.
Issue #1: Charged Without Confirmation:
The first red flag? Hubbl charged me instantly—with zero confirmation. I was still in the middle of stacking my subscriptions, tweaking my setup to get the right combination (I wanted 4K Kayo, not the standard version, and was adding different services to compare costs). Then, with one accidental click—bam, full charge, no warning, no "Are you sure?" prompt, nothing. Just straight-up money taken from my account.
Issue #2: Fighting for a Refund That Shouldn’t Have Been a Fight:
Since I hadn't meant to finalize that purchase, I immediately tried to remove it and get a refund. That should’ve been simple, right? Nope. Instead, I had to deal with completely useless customer service that dragged the process out for over a week—only to tell me they’d cancel the subscription but not refund me the money.
The moment I threatened to escalate to the Ombudsman and cited some legislation, guess what? Instant refund. Funny how that works. While I appreciate getting my money back, I should not have to resort to legal threats just to receive basic customer service.
Issue #3: Locked Out of Upgrades (Because... Why?):
Once that nightmare was over, I went back in to try and upgrade to 4K Kayo—the plan I had originally wanted. But for some inexplicable reason, the option to adjust or upgrade my service was completely greyed out on the website. No explanation, no way to fix it myself. Instead, I had to sit in a pointless virtual queue, re-explain my issue to yet another rep, and then wait another 48 hours for them to process a simple upgrade.
Again, I appreciate the help, but why on earth should I have to engage customer support for something I should be able to do myself in seconds? Absolute waste of my time.
Issue #4: Even Cancelling is a Nightmare:
And just when I thought I was done with this mess, when it came time to cancel my Kayo subscription. And guess what? The cancel button was greyed out, too. Once again, I couldn’t make basic changes to my own account without going through support to do it for me.
Final Thoughts:
The entire process has been a joke. I hate that we’re forced to use Hubbl for services like Kayo and Binge. Your website is misleading, broken, and clearly designed to make things as difficult as possible for users. Your customer service is atrocious, and the fact that I had to threaten legal action just to get basic support says everything.
If you’re thinking of using Hubbl—don’t. Save yourself the headache.
