We visited Hastings store today with our mum and were greeted by Vicki, who was so attentive, friendly, understanding and just took the time to listen to mum (90+ years old) needs in a chair. We were offered tea and mum tried several chairs before deciding on the one that she felt was right for her. Thank you for your time and helping us with our mum.

Visited the St.Leonard's on Sea branch to purchase a reclining chair for my 90 year old dad .A lovely greeting from Vicki and the team .super helpful and friendly and so good at explaining all the chairs and how they work . The chair arrived today ( express delivery ) and the delivery drivers so nice and patient and explained it all so dad could understand the settings .Excellent , thoroughly recommend .

My wife has had several lower back operations so wanted to buy a new Stressless chair to give her the comfort and support needed. HSL has a good reputation so visited their Hastings location where we found a small but exclusive Stressless range to try. Lesley, the manager, gave us her full attention and professional advice - we didn't know that HSL trains its staff in aspects of occupational therapy, so her advice turned out to be very useful. There was no 'sales patter' or push to make a decision; we could take as much time as we needed (coming back for a second visit was also welcomed). We were able to buy our preferred chair in a really relaxed, friendly, professional and efficient environment - did I mention the coffee and biscuits too?

Veronica greeted us warmly into the shop. Listened to our request and showed us exactly what we wanted. She gave us all the information and all the different chair coverings available. Veronica also advised on the most suitable height of chair for my husbands needs. Veronica explained everything thoroughly with a friendly and professional manner.

From start to finish the service was FLAWLESS. Excellent, high quality product; modern and extremely comfortable. Incredible, friendly and helpful customer support in store and on the phone. Easy and effortless delivery and assembly thanks to Martin and Leon. Not a single bad thing to say. Would 100% use them again!

Liz was very helpful and not at all pushy and overbearing which is a welcome relief after looking around other furniture stores.It can make a purchase rather an ordeal if the customer is not left alone for more than a few minutes. So far so good!

The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful and I was given a very detailed explanation of their extensive range of chairs, as well as having plenty of time to try them out. The chair I ordered was delivered on time, I was given detailed instructions on how it worked and it is very comfortable.

From entering the shop in Hastings, ordering and delivery excellent service. Ashley and Jason were great - no faff just got on with getting the bed in and setting it up. This is our third purchase from HSL and can see a distinct improvement in their focus on quality and customer service.

Great experience with HSL thus far. (We are due our delivery of the chair in the coming weeks). Liz looked after us and was very patient with all our questions. Liz was very knowledgeable with the types of chair available, their benefits and the best one for us. I didn’t realise that my feet should be on the floor when sitting on an armchair! Great she had all this postural knowledge, as per their training with an occupational therapist. Liz explained everything clearly and we were surprised to get all the professional paperwork that went with our quote and final order. It’s great you have time to think about the product and can then make changes before you definitely decide what you want. Really pleased with HSL. It’s such a personalised experience that you just wouldn’t get from a normal furniture shop. Can’t wait for our comfy armchair to arrive.
