Great customer service very pleased with the saleswoman couldn’t do enough to help

Visited with my sister who has learning and physical disabilities. The staff were amazing and made her and us feel welcome and supported. The whole experience was stress free and relaxed. Thank you so much

Saved to purchase a chair, paid for a care kit extra. When delivered they did not have the care kit. Contacted customer services and the shop, one said it should have been delivered with the chair, the other it should have been sent by post. It would seem neither has happened. Awaiting a call next week.

Helpful and relaxing

Used HSL . Hastings , excellent service provided by Vicki, Veronica and Lesley who even came over to Eastbourne with leather supples , as Royal Mail had failed after two weeks , still waiting , so with the extra effort made a sale. Also very happy supporting a family uk firm. Just have to wait 10/ 12 weeks for delivery. But would most definitely use again in the future when needing more furniture.

Excellent help from a super and extremely knowledgeable sales lady, Vicky, who spent a couple of hours with me. I tried various different chairs, to find the exact size and model, for and comfort. Thank you Vicky at HSL Hastings.

We had two very good visits to HSL in St Leonard’s and both Veronica and her partner there on the Monday were great. From advising us on the parking before we came, to making sure the chair I was interested in would be the right fit and then lending us some fabric to check it would work with our furnishings - it was a super professional and friendly experience. The chair arrived yesterday - again a very professional and friendly delivery team - and we couldn’t be happier.

On visiting the St Leonards on Sea branch we were welcomed by Jan. We knew what we were looking for and so she explained the various different styles and materials available. We were offered a cup of coffee which we declined as we'd just had one. They were currently offering a 25% discount on the chair we wanted and having discussed our requirements with Jan she gave us the brochure to take home and look through. We returned to the store 10 days later to place our order and fortunately Jan was there to take care of this. At no time did we feel under pressure to purchase the chair and overall found the experience quite relaxed. Thank you Jan!

From our first visit in Hastings were Jan helped us to select the right suite for us, due to the fact my wife suffers with a spinal complaint to the 2 nice gents Martin & Leon delivering our items we could not have asked for better service, plus your product is second to none as far as we are concerned

We visited Hastings store today with our mum and were greeted by Vicki, who was so attentive, friendly, understanding and just took the time to listen to mum (90+ years old) needs in a chair. We were offered tea and mum tried several chairs before deciding on the one that she felt was right for her. Thank you for your time and helping us with our mum.

Visited the St.Leonard's on Sea branch to purchase a reclining chair for my 90 year old dad .A lovely greeting from Vicki and the team .super helpful and friendly and so good at explaining all the chairs and how they work . The chair arrived today ( express delivery ) and the delivery drivers so nice and patient and explained it all so dad could understand the settings .Excellent , thoroughly recommend .

Janet was great. I had an idea of what I wanted and she took me through some options. She was patient, discussing various sofa sizes and materials. She was very knowledgeable and took time with me. Having decided on a sofa we went through everything and I now await my new sofa

My wife has had several lower back operations so wanted to buy a new Stressless chair to give her the comfort and support needed. HSL has a good reputation so visited their Hastings location where we found a small but exclusive Stressless range to try. Lesley, the manager, gave us her full attention and professional advice - we didn't know that HSL trains its staff in aspects of occupational therapy, so her advice turned out to be very useful. There was no 'sales patter' or push to make a decision; we could take as much time as we needed (coming back for a second visit was also welcomed). We were able to buy our preferred chair in a really relaxed, friendly, professional and efficient environment - did I mention the coffee and biscuits too?

Veronica greeted us warmly into the shop. Listened to our request and showed us exactly what we wanted. She gave us all the information and all the different chair coverings available. Veronica also advised on the most suitable height of chair for my husbands needs. Veronica explained everything thoroughly with a friendly and professional manner.
