Excellent service from HPL Preston once…

Excellent service from HPL Preston once again. We previously bought my husband’s car 4 years ago and decided to change it again at HPL, but ended up changing my car instead. We dealt with Jamie, he was very helpful, polite and great to deal with. Few things to sort on the car purchased but all was resolved very promptly and smoothly. Would definitely go back to HPL Preston again.

New Car

Great Service

I recently purchased a SEAT from HPL Motors in Preston and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The whole process was straightforward, professional, and stress-free.

A special thank you goes to Jaime Tootle, who provided fantastic customer service throughout. Jaime was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely went above and beyond to help me secure the SEAT I wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, and they kept me informed every step of the way, making the experience enjoyable and reassuring.

I’m absolutely delighted with my new car and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend HPL Motors Preston to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and outstanding service. Thanks again, Jaime, for all your hard work and dedication!

Would recommend. Easy and no pressure.

Sara was really on the ball from when I sent my enquiry to collecting the car. No pressure sales, and left me on my own to think about things. Lot's of time and space given. Even sorted some bits on the car that I hadn't noticed before I collected it.

A total lack of communication and professionalism.

A deeply unsatisfactory experience characterised by persistent communication failures and a lack of basic professionalism.

Although Jason’s initial service was positive, everything that followed fell well below acceptable standards. After identifying an issue with the boot on the car I intended to purchase, Jason assured me he would investigate and call back. He didn’t. When I chased the next day, I was told he was on leave until Thursday. I then asked Jack to pick this up; he also promised a call back and didn’t deliver.

When I finally reached Jason on Thursday, he confirmed there was no issue with the boot. I immediately confirmed I wished to proceed with the purchase. Because he was working at another site, he said Jack would need to take the deposit. Jack called, attempted to process it, then said he was having difficulty and would call back. Again, he didn’t.

When I contacted the dealership on Friday, I was informed the car had been sold to someone else.

A complete breakdown in communication, accountability, and customer care. Unacceptable, and far below the standard any buyer should expect.

An excellent experience. Jason took us out for a test drive, explained everything to us.

He went through the purchase process, explaining additional items should I wish to purchase.

This was first class service and thanks to Jason for his professionalism

Amazing experience

Experience at Preston was awful

My experience was awful, booked an appointment as wanted to purchase a specific car, was not offered the opportunity to reserve on phone,,only to get there and find someone had just walked in and requested a test drive so they were taking them first which was very annoying as we had booked and arrived on time. They left us sitting there for half an hour with no update then sold the car under our nose.

HPL MOTORS PRESTON

My husband, myself and 2 Foster children went late on Saturday afternoon, about 4pm. We looked at a car, chatted to the salesman, who asked for £200 refundable deposit. He even wrote it on the paper...refundable but didn't give us a copy! On Monday, we changed our minds so rang them up to cancel( not even 48hrs had passed) but we were told, you'll lose your deposit. He then said it was in the terms of the agreement ! We didn't have a leg to stand on because they didn't give us any paperwork. We were naive to trust them. They wouldn't even meet us half way. HPL ...Honesty, Professionalism, Loyalty... failed on all 3, pity there was no empathy in there. £200, not even 2days! The most expensive car search ever. Feel free to message me.

Bought a car from HPL Preston today and was dealing with Matt, he was absolutely brilliant, extremely Patient explained everything in detail. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I’m the fifth member of my family to buy from HPL and have always had great service. All the staff are always helpful and willing to explain things to you.
Once again, Matt Mankowski was absolutely fantastic🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I honestly cannot recommend HPL enough

I honestly cannot recommend HPL enough, especially Jason for making what had been an incredibly stressful experience finally feel easy and enjoyable.

For the past two weeks, I had been visiting multiple car dealerships trying to find the right car, and the whole process became overwhelming and exhausting. I felt pressured at many places, and instead of listening to what I actually needed, some dealerships just seemed focused on selling any car they could. By the time I came to HPL, I was stressed, confused, and honestly drained from the whole experience.

From the moment I met Jason, everything felt completely different. He was calm, professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. What really stood out to me was how clearly and smoothly he explained everything. He took the time to go through all the options in a structured way that made everything easy to understand, and for the first time during my car search, I actually felt comfortable and relaxed instead of stressed.

Jason genuinely listened to my needs, my budget, and what I was looking for in a car. Rather than trying to push me into something unsuitable, he was honest and gave genuine advice about which car would actually work best for me financially and practically. That honesty meant a lot to me because it’s hard to find salespeople who truly put the customer first. He is an excellent communicator and an outstanding salesperson, but more importantly, he’s someone who genuinely cares about helping people make the right decision.

I truly feel lucky that I met Jason that day because he removed a huge weight and stress from my shoulders.

I also want to give a special thank you to Harvey.During handover, I felt emotional and upset about part exchanging my old car, but Harvey made the entire transition feel smooth, reassuring, and positive. I left feeling happy, confident, and completely satisfied with my choice.

The customer service at HPL was exceptional from start to finish, and this has genuinely been the best experience I’ve had at any dealership. Thank you again to Jason and Harvey for your honesty, professionalism, kindness, and support throughout the process. You both made a stressful situation into such a positive experience.

Outstanding Service

The entire purchase experience and part exchange of our vehicle was seamless throughout, we would most definitely use HPL again. In particular I must mention Nathan Blake, our Sales Executive, he was outstanding, and made what is often a stressful experience an absolute pleasure throughout.

Buying a used car

Sara B at the Preston branch provided me with excellent service. Was upgrading my car and needed time to choose a car that suited me best. Sara was very patient and provided non bias feedback on the vehicle I was choosing. Buying a car can be stressful, Sara made the whole experience effortless. Highly recommend Sara and the branch staff at Preston. As I picked up my car, one of the engineers overheard a query I had and politely answered it for me. The I point make with this, is that they work as a team and it was refreshing to see this in a car dealership.

Really poor customer care

Really poor customer care. Frequent confusion and misinformation from sales person Sara. Incorrect information given on vehicle servicing, keys and then was unable to meet customer contract with car maintenance contract twice. Really disappointing experience
