Baffles me why there are only a select few negative reviews on here. Nothing else.
I have purchased many desktop and laptop PCs from HP. Currently on a 17" Omen Gaming Laptop I bought directly from HP where I got an excellent deal and free HyperX headphones thrown-in. Perfect!

Had very little issues in the (almost) 1yr I have owned this laptop. But very recently had one issue. The online HP's AI assistant was surprisingly very thorough and easy to follow. I also used HP's phone support for the same issue however it was dealt with quickly and accurately. Got straight to the problem. Now fixed for good. Thank you.
Can't fault them. Needless to say, HP will be my 1st (and only) destination for future PCs.
It's an honest 5 stars from me.

Very poor customer service and contact methods. Only way to contact them is via chat and staff don't know everything it seems.

Wanted to recycle my old printer, only an option if you live in the US it seems which isn't providing an equal service to all.

I can't fault the printers I've always had, they do work and do the job that I need but support from a human is difficult.other than through chat which I don't like.

Ordered a laptop Sunday evening. Monday morning decided I wanted an upgrade. Phoned HP but they were unable to stop the order.
I have tried on two occasions to return this unopened laptop. I follow instructions on their site and select a collection time.
As stated in their email, the courier is supposed to get in contact- they never have. They also don't honour the select collection so basically, HP are expected me to sit at home and wait for it to be collected without any indication of day or time. You cannot reply to their emails. Their phone and chat are office hours only and I can't find another way to complain. Guess what HP, some people do actually work for a living. Dreadful, awful customer service.

Ordered a charger. Order hasn't gone through. Cant talk to anyone, chat doesn't work, cant leave feedback , wont provide an email.

Left a message on X, haven't had a response almost 12 hours later.

Terrible customer service and website

I bought 3 AI laptops, HP is cheating on people saying those are AI laptops but that's not true. HP salespeople told me the laptops have Co Pilot installed but these laptops do not have Co Pilot. AI became a hot topic to make money like this.

I ordered a HP Z2 G1a workstation on 2025-08-07 and paid by wire transfer. It turned out they had given me incorrect specifications so I canceled the order on 2025-08-10. Since then, it's been an ordeal involving several email, hours spent on hold for phone or chat with their apathetic customer services reps, and one month later I am still out of pocket for over ₤3000 and they still haven’t refunded me. Needless to say, I will never ever buy anything from HP ever again.

If for whatever reason you do want to deal with them, only pay by credit card.

I ordered parts for my laptop from HP Parts and then tried using their return service online to return, however it kept giving error messages. To get support, I tried several channels like chat and phone calls with various people passing me different phone numbers and telling me they can't help as it's not their department. I am not surprised that HP reviews reflect their lack of customer support and poorly trained staff who still live in the 90s.

I ordered a computer on 14th November and the money left my account instantly. I was told it was next day delivery but absolutely nothing has arrived and I've had no communication for nearly three weeks. When I've tried to ring HP there's been no apology and they've insisted it's been lost by Parcel Force and a new computer is on its way. But no emails to confirm this and no sign of the computer. Absolutely shocking.

Sklep wysłał zamówienie mimo dwukrotnej prośby o anulowanie zamówienia. Jedna prośba o anulowanie drogą mailową dwie godziny po złożeniu zamówienia. Druga prośba telefoniczna rano w dniu pakowania. Brak możliwości anulowania zamówienia na stronie internetowej. Nie działa przycisk zatwierdzenia anulowania. Anulowanie z przyczyny oszustwa marketingowego przy sprzedaży " drukarki" która jest naprawdę interfejsem dającym mi ewentualnie możliwość druku na warunkach pełnego podłączenia do internetu i do serwera HP i ich warunkach zaopatrzenia w tusz. O tym wszystkim powinna być czytelna informacja przed zakupem. Żaden inny producent drukarek nie stosuje tego typu praktyk.

I ordered a laptop from the HP store. I wanted it delivered to the local FEDEX store as I have had packages stolen from my doorstep. I verified through HP chat that this can be done. It was supposed to be delivered a week ago. To date, I still have not received the laptop. As I am leaving on vacation, I inquired about cancelling the order so I could purchase a laptop locally. I was informed that as the laptop has shipped, the parcel would have to be rerouted back to HP, received and inspected and then the refund issued, if it passes inspection. This process would take over a month. If it fails inspection, I do not know what happens, even though I never received the laptop! Apparently FEDEX has put the parcel on the wrong truck every day for the last week. I have contacted HP and FEDEX multiple time over the last week, but the same problem keeps happening. FEDEX may be causing the problem, but HP chose FEDEX for their vendor and is responsible for their performance. In addition, HP was supposed to be contacting FEDEX to correct the problem days ago, but if they did, their actions were not successful. In short, I would not believe HP time frames for delivery and if you need a refund, expect a long wait. Their customer service is so bad no advertising dollar can repair the damage done.
