Initial contact with Thomas went well, a pleasant chap who talked me through the process.
When the sale was passed onto Lewis communication was hit and miss. He pushed for pictures to be taken of the property when I pointed out new windows were scheduled to be installed in a weeks time he told me the pictures could be doctored to show new windows
There was a lack of dialogue bordering on lack of interest from Lewis.
I couldn’t attend a viewing but contacted the company 6 hours prior to offer my apologies and suggested either of the next 2 days. I waited but got no response from Lewis.
I sent a number of up to date pictures after the windows were installed and improvements were made on the house but none of these appeared on Rightmove.
After reading other peoples reviews I don’t know if I was just unlucky or possibly got the wrong person in charge of my sale.

Although Duncan was unable to help me directly, he was a breath of fresh air, in an industry where that's not always the case. Friendly, attentive and considerate.

Firstly I want to thank Chris Lunson for his polite, friendly and helpful manner. I chose HBF for an easy sale as I wanted to move back to my parents due to health issues, and to be nearer. I didn’t want the hassle of potentially multiple viewings or not knowing exactly when the house would sell. As I wasn’t planning on buying another house, I was happy to take a lower than market offer in exchange for less stress. HBF also paid for my own solicitor, so there were no fees there. Selling your house this way isn’t for everyone, so please make your own mind up. If you want, or need, full market value - and that alone is debatable as a house is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay - then this service might not be for you. If, however, you are like me and are happy to sell lower for less stress then I would at least sound them out. Thanks again Chris for always answering my questions and being a pleasure to chat to.

I honestly couldnt fault this company so far. The customer service, contact with updates, deal has been great.
Duncan Fretter listened to my situation, negotiated the end value for the property and has agreed to my requests.
The team who deal with viewings have communicated brilliantly, send notifications of new prospective buyers seeing the house.
We got a lovely email from the agent as we took the time to talk to them about the house history and details, which they appreciated.

Dan was so easy to talk to and he explained everything I needed to know about selling my house.He answered all my questions and concerns and put me so much at ease that I would 100% recommend anyone who needs help to sell their house quickly for cash to speak to Dan.

I have just started on my journey with house buy fast, and I can say my experience to date is second to none, Dan and the team have been amazing, they have been so proactive and always on hand with any questions I have had. I was asked to sign a contract for a managed sale which was really unfair. They had an opt-out 'for any reason' at their 'absolute discretion' but I had no opt out at all, and there was no end date to the contract, there was a 'completion date' but that is not the same thing as an end date for the contract nor the claims they could make under the contract. There was a 12 moth fee tail so if I sold my own house to a buyer they had not introduced within 12 months of the contract they claimed 2.5%. Worst they got to put a unilateral notice at land registry, which would create a situation where they could block my sale unless I paid them the 2.5%. They could also transfer the interest (maybe the unilateral notice) to a third party.
To cap it off they wanted to pay me £1 consideration, the sole point of which is to make their potential future case/claim against me stronger.

The contract was literally a trap, so many red flags and so unbalanced I had to refuse to sign it to look after my best interests.

I have been dealing with a charming gentleman called Alfred. No nonsense, zero jargon & a pleasure to deal with.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend House Buy Fast as a realistic option to sell your property. 🫡🇬🇧

I contacted House buy fast a few days ago and received a phone call within an hour from them. I spoke to Duncan Fretter who was extremely helpful and organised to speak with his team and get back to me on Friday. He was extremely helpful and honest and gave me lots of helpful advice. Although not able to buy my house direct due to its location, he was willing to help with the sale if I wanted them to. He was very professional at sll times and should I decide to market my property I would be happy for them to do so. There are many companies do a similar job but none that offer such honest and helpful advice. I would highly recommend that you use this company.

We were looking for a quick sale of our property after “selling “ our property through the conventional estate agents some 3 times and for various reasons, 3 times the buyers pulled out after various time periods . We were assured this was not due to our property but nonetheless it was painful especially when you take your property off the market and in one case , we were 10 weeks into the process ! We looked at something different and after checking the review sites we decided to give this company a chance .. It was a very good decision! We dealt with Dan and he was genuinely, helpful and professional from the beginning… Dan gave us a price that was less than we originally wanted but in our particular circumstances, the trade off of losing out on a few thousand pounds was well worth it.. There were no fees as advertised and the process was weeks rather than months .. We are so grateful to Dan and his team and therefore would recommend to anyone , please give “ House buy fast “ a try . Ultimately we had nothing to lose by talking to them and in our humble experience, it worked out very well, very quickly and it was refreshing to deal with someone who actually followed through exactly as he said he would …

We were dealing with Dan who made the whole process seamless. From the very first phone call they dealt with everything from the marketing to auctioneers, viewings through to exchange/completion. I thought I would take a chance and just see if this company could help me, after quite an in-depth phone conversation it appeared that my type of house is difficult to sell at the moment being that it is larger than average
he was upfront with me in saying that he wouldn’t be able to help which I appreciate it. We are not desperate to sell. I was just testing the water and I now know that my suspicions about the current market have been confirmed. I will sit tight for another couple of years and hope things will improve.
