We've been ordering from Honey's for 3+ years and cannot fault them. They have brilliant customer service - they swiftly respond to emails, deliver monthly interesting newsletters, and offer incentives. They have a wide variety of food options (and treats!) and are very helpful in deciding what is best for your dog. We have several times been tempted to eat our dogs food ourselves! We happily recommend this company.

For some time, I had been thinking of swapping our dog onto a raw food diet. But had assumed it would be inconvenient and time consuming. How wrong could I have been.
Last December I noticed a little book "The Real Honey's Dog Food story" in a local gift shop. I bought a copy and having read it was convinced this was the right move for us. Our beloved 4 year old Weimarana Gus had been suffering from recurrent stomach upsets, with colitis type symptoms, sometimes even with traces of blood. This was a constant concern for us and also very unpleasant to deal with. We are a very foodie family and although he was on a high quality dry food, it was not sitting well with me that we feed him with something we would not be prepared to eat ourselves!
Having contacted Honey's, I was surprised and also very impressed at the extremely personal service I received from the outset, where a member of the team called me and spent around 40 minuets on the phone taking down Gus's past history and health concerns and advising me on the right Honey's range for Gus and how to make the change.
Five months down the line and four deliveries later, Gus is a happy healthy dog and I am pleased to say he has not had any stomach upsets in that time. He really looks forward to meal times and always clears his dish and rather than finding this new way of feeding a time consuming inconvenience, I find the whole routine somewhat therapeutic. The change to his health is obvious in his energy levels and shiny coat. The biggest change however and more importantly, is what we have to pick up after him. The quantity I would say has halved and is firm and so much easier and more pleasant to collect!
I have given an excellent rating all round, for the friendly efficient and attentive team, who alway go the extra mile with customer service, the quality of the product and their approach to animal welfare, sustainability and Recycling.
Although a slightly more costly way to feed your dog, when you love them so very much, I am sure you will feel like I do, that is it worth it.

My two shihtzu have been fed Honeys for 4 years (at least). They are thriving on it. Excellent food and warm, friendly and personal customer service. I highly recommend them.

How wonderful to find a raw food supplier who has nutritionalist advisers. I have fed raw for 30 years and has always been so difficult to get advice for diet and health issues. After all those years of scrunching up veg, cutting up offal, carting bones home I can now get it all done for me and delivered to my doorstep.

What a lovely company. We’ve used their raw food for our working cocker since he was a pup following a recommendation from our vet. He LOVES it and is super healthy. Everyone we speak to at the company is kind and helpful - if only all businesses we dealt with were like this. Thank you Honeys!

This is the best provider of raw dog food that I have found and I have done a LOT of research as I had a dog that was poorly. They also offer free advice on health problems and their delivery is first rate. I cannot praise them enough.

Honeys Real Dog Food is an incredible company like no other, they treat their customers like old and valued friends, the products they produce are wholesome and my dog Scooter loves every mouthful, he is a Bichon Frisé so could be susceptible to skin problems, but since starting with raw feeding he has been absolutely fine. They produce an amusing and interesting newsletter which is sent with the delivery, always offering advice and help. Ordering couldn’t be easier and their delivery people are always polite and on time. So give them a try.

It’s true! Our two dogs have been enjoying Honeys raw meat for two years now and the improvement in their condition is striking. They have more energy (not always a good thing when it comes to bad behaviour!); glossy coats and no longer have bad breath. And it’s less expensive than the tinned food we used to spend a fortune on. Ordering and delivery is simple and feels personal. It’s great to know Honeys can give advice too.

Ps. One of our dogs suffered terribly from reflux. We were nervous about stopping medication so withdrew it gradually and now he rarely has a bout.

There is no substitute for a first class, species appropriate diet, which is what Honey's is all about. A great range of different raw meats to tempt all palates, carefully selected, fresh and organanic, beautiffully packaged and delivered to your door in a refrigerated courier van on the day of your choice.

If you want to you can purchase the raw ingredients from Honey's and instructions on how to produce your own bespoke dinners for your lovely canine companion(s). This does work out cheaper, but obviously needs a certain amount of dedication, (not to mention storage space!) and I haven't travelled that path myself - yet.

In addition, Honey's must boast possibly the nicest bunch of people at the other end of the phone or computer you could ever hope to find. Kind, informed, helpful and enthusiastic about anything you might klijke to throw at them. I feel so lucky to have found them and my cocker spaniel,, Dottie, would be the first to second that.

Give them a try. You'll never look back.

We have been buying Honeys Raw dog food for our Irish Terrier Flynn for 5 years. He has thrived on their food and licks his bowel clean every mealtime, any pattern would be well gone !
Honeys are always striving to find ways the be even greener to help the environment and we are saving all our wrapping to send back ( free of charge) for recycling.
The service you receive from Honeys is second to non, always polite and very efficient.
I can truly recommend their company and their products.

Our Parson’s Terrier came to us as puppy with the breeder’s recommended kibble. It was okay but I wanted something without all the processing and additives and food that was enjoyable and natural for our dog. As a new dog owner I was nervous about changing her diet. I really didn’t know where to start and there is a bit of opposition around raw food amongst some dog owners. Several months later Honey’s was suggested to us by a trainer and we have never looked back! The initial discussion and information gathered about our dog was thorough and also very practical. The amount of daily feed was worked out and we were given the option of a month’s discounted trial. The transition to raw food was an immediate success! We had a programme to transition from the kibble but went over completely within two days. Our dog loves it and within weeks we could see the impact on her coat and digestion. We so appreciate the fact that the food arrives once a month ready for the freezer and there is always someone at Honey’s to adjust the order and add extras ( raw bones are another rite of passage to being a proper dog and has proved a great activity during lockdown!). During this Covid pandemic the service from Honey’s has not faltered. The fact that UK suppliers are used is such a plus and the fact that it is delivered safely to our door with no issues at all. The quality of the food is fantastic, backed up by a great team who are always on hand if needed. We couldn’t wish for anything better.

We were unsure about the raw diet but decided to give it a try because of the recommendation of a friend. Our dog was unenthusiastic about his kibble and would sometimes leave his dinner unfinished. But he loves Honey's and we have to make sure he doesn't eat it too quickly! Honey's also spent a lot of time on the phone and email making sure we were getting the right food and helping us with our dog's diet. Our dog also had some anxiety and was nervous around other dogs and going to dogs. After a week of eating Honey's he had a huge confidence and energy boost and it was a pleasure to be outdoors with him. (Not 100% because of the diet change but I definitely like to think it was a factor). And of course, as everyone else mentions, his hair grows crazy fast and thick. We are so happy with Honey's!

I wanted to send a review for Honey’s after some comments made this morning about how lovely my Westies coat has become and I realised I’d taken for granted the power of a species appropriate diet. I have two Westies Lilly 6 and Bertie 5. When Lilly was about a year old she developed an awful skin problem (common in Westies). She lost her fluffy coat and developed thin fur and a greasy back. Her skin was itchy, scaly and flakey and she bit her paws until her skin was red raw. There then followed a long period of trial and error to try and find what she was allergic to, during which time the only thing that eased the symptoms was steroids. I hated her having to take that medication long term and joined a Westie Advice Group on Facebook. They recommended feeding a raw diet and reading the Honey’s Handbook. After reading the book it made so much sense to feed real food. So I decided to make the change. At this time I had added Bertie to our family so made the change when he arrived. Prior to changing to a raw diet Lilly had been a bit fussy with her food. She’d eat stuff for a while and then go off it. I called Honey’s and they suggested the appropriate food for them and they took to it immediately. Never any left and their bowls licked clean. For Lilly there was a period of detoxing but I was then able to wean her off the steroids completely. This morning I bumped into somebody (In a socially distant way) who knew Lilly when she was suffering with her skin. She couldn’t get over how fit and healthy she looked and how fabulous her fur was. As for Bertie, who has eaten Honey’s from a puppy, he’s never had any skin issues and has a fabulous thick health coat. Honey’s food is great quality and a lovely texture and I get a wide variety of meats so Lilly and Bertie don’t get bored. Honey’s customer service is fantastic and monthly delivery is easy to arrange. If anyone reading this is thinking of trying out a raw diet for their pets my advice would be to go for it and I would highly recommend Honey’s Real Dog Food and credit this for the great and continued improvements in my Lilly’s health.

We've been using Honey's for a couple years to feed our lurcher. It's excellent raw dog food. Can tell it's high quality, as it always smells really fresh and lovely, even to us humans. We love that it is sourced from local, quality, suppliers, and that as a company, they take much pride in being as responsible as possible. I'll sometimes use the extra bones we order from them to make stock for ourselves, as I know that its better quality than the stores! The team is really lovely to deal with, helpful, easy to order, never had any problems with any delivery. Food comes in easy to handle tubes, with minimal packaging (relative to other products). The dog absolutely loves it, we are certain he is eating better than us!

Excellent raw food from carefully selected suppliers (no factory farming!). Honeys are lovely to deal with and offer brilliant advice too if you’re having an issue. My dog has a very sensitive gut with a number of allergies - this is the only diet I have found that suits him and I think honeys are the best raw food supplier! I won’t ever change!

Have been using them for 7 years to feed our 2 frenchies and can honestly say that their food is the best.our girls have a mix of 6 flavours(they sell lots more )and in all that time they still love mealtimes.on lots of occasions people have said to us how fit and trim they look and I always big up the super food they get fed on and recommend honeys as a really good outfit.we order after hours by phone on answer phone and it always arrives on time by courier without any probs.i also like the fact that the produce is sourced from the local area using free range meat and veg.

Honeys is the most excellent company their dedication and commitment to our dogs is second to none. The quality of their products is fabulous, the service is always top draw and it’s all done with a very comical sense of humour. I would not use any other company for my dog food and would recommend them to all.

I started Chief, my Retreiver, on Honey's after he had both cruciate ligament TPLO's and Xrays showed arthritis in his hocks, poor lad had been suffering a long time and only 8 years old. during physio I switched to Raw, he gets so excited for meal times now, starts working on me an hour before it's due to push me to the kitchen,he abslutely loves this food to the point where he's shaking with excitement, and it hasnt worn off after, his energy health digestion coat teeth in fact just about everything has improved so much I only wish I'd discovered it sooner. I tried raw once before but the smell and the fuss put me off, Honey's is so easy to use, and smells great, so long as you can keep a drawer free in the freezer i would reccommend it really highly.
Also when he wees on the grass in the garden it no longer burns a yellow patch.

I have been using honeys on and off (lived abroad a bit) for about 8 years.
A friend came to stay with her dog and honeys food, my border terrier was very jealous!
Have since introduced it to my 10 month old dachshund as well. Both dogs look fit and healthy and would never go back to any other food. The dachshie's coat is so shiny and is commented on daily.
Highly recommend, fantastic service, efficient, friendly and informative.
