Amazing! I'm 48 and have been to many dermatologists over many years. Nothing has made my skin clear until starting this low dose of Isotretinoin. I wish I had this many years ago, but am very happy to have it now. Going through Honeydew has made it all really simple, especially coordinating all the requirements for the iPledge program and pharmacy. I use my insurance and the price is very reasonable. I believe it would be more expensive and much more of a hassle if I went in person to a dermatologist office.
The provider and the coordinator have been super nice and helpful. The website clearly guides you through any steps you need to take. I love the progress tracking. You upload photos each month and it's satisfying to see the progression over time. You also see a gauge of how close you are to meeting the total accumulated target dose. I'm ~10 months in to the treatment.
Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say and I'm very happy to have found this service.

It was actually really great timing when I found honeydew because my acne was terrible, I had big cysts and smaller ones on my cheeks and using all these other products made it go away temporarily. My sister in law had used Accutane previously so I thought ok last resort let’s go with it and it actually started when I saw people making reviews and videos about Accutane with honeydew. I was skeptical at first because essentially everything would be online but I started the process and I’m 2-3 months in and my face looks dramatically more smooth and different than before. They really do work with you and the replies are quick. Aside from the blood tests and the pregnancy tests and the amount I pay for it I really do think it’s affordable and it worked for me.

Honeydew has been a complete game changer for me .. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is struggling or needs help finding a derm who will listen & assist you with your needs not to mention they also help with other things. They follow up regularly, you get to talk to your derm directly anytime an it’s very affordable..

Simple process, and awesome results.

Avoid. Awful service. It's self-guided; you have to be glued to your phone or desktop to "message" in a chat, which is not a live chat, as the support generally takes 24 hours to respond. The steps are not clearly defined; you will only receive texts to prompt you to log back into the chat log to check a message. It is 100x easier to see a doctor in person and cost half. The high monthly fee isn't justifiable in any way because the serivce is absolutely terrible.

I've been on isotretinoin through honeydew for almost a year now. My skin looks amazing and it's so fast and easy to obtain. So much easier than an in person doctor and you can ask questions and get quick answers.
They monitor blood work and everything. I highly recommend!

I lost an entire month of treatment because of Honeydew’s broken Accutane onboarding process.

I signed up specifically to start Accutane and completed my first required pregnancy test on August 19. I went out of my way to get it done before an international trip because I understood that I was beginning the mandatory iPLEDGE process and 30-day waiting period.

Nearly a month later, I discovered that my waiting period had never even started.

Apparently, an additional enrollment form was required before Honeydew could enroll me in iPLEDGE. But a step that can delay treatment by an entire month was not clearly surfaced as a critical, blocking requirement in their task flow. Instead, important information was buried in their chat/automated messages while I reasonably believed the process was underway.

By the time I discovered the issue and re-signed the form, it was too late. Honeydew told me they couldn’t backdate my enrollment, so I now have to wait another 30 days to start a medication I expected to start this week.

Even after they supposedly corrected it, I received an “action required” email from iPLEDGE with an invitation link that immediately gave me an error saying it was invalid, expired, or already used — leaving me once again unsure whether everything had actually gone through.

Honeydew apologized and offered me a $25 credit, which feels wildly inadequate for losing a month of treatment because of their process.

It’s also worth knowing that if you’re joining Honeydew for Accutane, you pay for the service during the mandatory 30-day iPLEDGE waiting period even though you cannot receive Accutane yet. In my case, I paid for the service, waited nearly a month thinking I was completing that required period, and then learned that the clock had never started and I had to wait all over again.

Honeydew is supposed to make accessing dermatological care easier. If they are managing Accutane patients, successfully initiating iPLEDGE enrollment and making the patient’s status unmistakably clear should be one of the most basic functions of the service.

If you do use Honeydew for Accutane, independently verify that your iPLEDGE enrollment is complete and ask for the exact date your 30-day waiting period began. Do not assume that completing your pregnancy test means the process has started. Based on my experience, I absolutely do not recommend them.

My dermatologist and care coordinator have all been amazing! Response time is within the day usually. I’ve been able to be more confident in my skin, I feel more free, and I don’t have that nagging thought in my mind that im ugly or I shouldn’t go out with my friends because I have acne. This service has given me freedom.

Honeydew SAVED my skin!!

I was struggling with extremely painful eczema across literally my whole body. My self confidence was so low from the big red blotches I had everywhere, my skin was in pain all the time, and I couldn't sleep from the constant itching.

Every over the counter or prescription remedy I tried failed me. I was told the only medication that would help is a long process to get-- requiring specialty dermatology and insurance approval. Enter Honeydew!!

Honeydew was SO easy to get set up with, and my care provider was so kind, understanding and non judgemental. I was seen within 24 hours.

Plus, the medication I was prescribed requires a lot of extra work with insurance. Honeydew's care support team was so incredibly helpful, and they were there to navigate every step with me. They are just a message away, no waiting on hold with a doctor's office.
They almost always got the next step done within an hour of me messaging!!

My treatment is literally life changing. My eczema is almost entirely gone, with no hassle of waiting 4-6 months for a derm appointment and dealing with insurance on my own.

If you are on the fence and struggling the constant battle of fighting with your own skin, I can't recommend Honeydew more. It will seriously change your life.

Honeydew is amazing. Getting isotretinoin can be a complicated and confusing process with ipledge and deadlines, checkups, etc., but it's been easy with Honeydew. They make the steps clear and guide you through everything. I would definitely use them again if I develop more acne/rosacea in the future.

I switched over to Honeydew when another brand abruptly closed and cancelled all memberships. It was honestly great at first. The doctors were extremely kind, listened, and seemed like they really cared about the patient. The care specialists were phenomenal, with fast response times and always understood my prescriptions.

Recently, service has really gone downhill. My care specialists keep getting my prescriptions wrong, and telling me I'm prescribed medicine that is counter to my care plan. For example, I was never prescribed Acutane but they told me my Acutane would be arriving via mail, after I inquired if there were any shipping updates. It's a bit troubling to hear after spending $100+ that my order may be wrong. They also have provided me tracking codes that don't work.

I recently noticed they starting tacking on a $15 pharmacy fee, undisclosed, without any documentation of what that is. As if it isn't expensive enough to be forced to go through their "partner pharmacy," they are now charging $15 extra for... What reason? I could've picked these up at the pharmacy next to my house, used insurance, paid less than half price, and received it within 24 hours max.

After using Honeydew for two years, I won't be using the service in the future.

I’ve had psoriasis for 5+ years and my care team was able to provide me with everything I needed to treat my skin. The direct communication is fantastic and they will help you every step of the way. Within 4 months my skin is clear and I am feeling great.

I love how quick and easy it is to communicate with my care team and provider. Fast process. Partner pharmacy is quick and reliable. Very happy with the Accutane progress. Trustworthy and they really care about their patients. The membership and monthly cost is very fair for the amazing services! Highly recommend!

Honeydew is 100% legit! For every question, document and process I have had to go through with them, it takes no more than an hour to respond. I am starting my Accutane soon and the nurses were super open with me about all the pricing options. Everyone is qualified and they do not cut corners like other companies do. I am a college nursing student with limited time for doctor visits, tests, labs etc. They made every single process SO fast and clear. My only advice is to make sure you pick a medication plan that is yearly (not monthly) to get rid of extra charge.

Terrible experience. I did exactly what they asked, I bought a pregnancy test, took the photo, and handwritten my name and date on a piece of paper. Then they accused me of digitally altering the picture, which is absolutely ridiculous and insulting. I just wanted a clear answer about whether I could pay for and receive my medication, but instead they completely wasted my time. Very unprofessional and frustrating.
