No complaints or issues with this service - everything worked well. Homebuyeronline kept me updated when the survey would be completed and responded to my emails promptly. I last bought a survey in 2007 (from a similar company) and the price compared favourably to then. All round, a very satisfactory service.

Very happy with my first experience of Homebuyer Online. My surveyor delivered the
result speedily and fully and was most informative during my tel calls to clarify. All in all an extremely professional service at a most competitive price.

I found them easy to deal with and they were very quick in doing the job.

After instructions I called them twice but no one answered it went an answer phone which made me nervous.

Once a surveyor was appointed matters moved fast and the report was delivered next day which was good.

We used this service for a building survey on a relatively straightforward property which had been extended a couple of times.The website itself worked well, and price competitive as far as I could tell. The surveyor was local and contacted us within a few days and was positively enthusiastic, making sure he was clear on any special requirements. Also responded promptly to one or two later questions. The whole thing was done within a week or so. The report itself was well-written and covered all the expected items (within the limits of the usual lists of exclusions you get with these things). So overall, yes, recommended, it couldn't have been much easier.

Received a thorough report at a reasonable price and our surveyor (Don) continued to be very helpful even after he'd published it.

Engaged them for a Homebuyers Survey. First surveyor was booked for an appointment 2 weeks later. This was changed for a more appropriate appointment. However, report took over a week to be made available.

Following the ordering of the survey we were quickly contacted by the nominated surveyor. He then made arrangements with the estate agent to carry out the survey within a few days. The report was completed two days after the survey and we were contacted to say we could follow up on any questions arising. Professional speedy service from start to finish. Report (homebuyers) very thorough and process incredibly smooth.

Good quality survey report. Took a little longer than advertised on website, two weeks rather than the 5 days the site states it aims for. Overall though good value for money.

This is a rapid efficient way to reach properly qualified professionals best suited to my home buying needs. I was able to speak directly to the surveyor on concerns relating to the particular property as well as getting sensible practical information ahead and after the survey. Home buying is such a critical time so I was pleased to feel confident about my surveyor choice via this online route.

Hi booked the survey on a Thursday Morning got a phone call late Thursday afternoon saying they could fit me in the next day survey was carried out and had this in my email box by the following Tuesday very good service and spoke with the Surveyor just to confirm and please my mind on something he mentioned in survey , would highly recommend .

Home buyer reports are clearly floored. Homebuyer online we're easy enough to deal with but I have reservations, not all about the company.
When I booked the appointment I made it clear I wanted to be present at the inspection.
It was carried out without me and I wasn't given the opportunity of being present. Other companies flatly refused to let me be present.
Why wouldn't a home buyer want to be present? The home inspector is working for me, supposedly, but they treat you like they're not interested in your queries or concerns.
I later found out the inspector was onsight no more than an hour and spent a lot of that talking with the vendor.
It's just not possible to inspect a detached home properly in an hour.
The actual report revealed nothing I didn't already know from my own inspection, and I'm no home inspector.
In short, the report isn't worth the paper it's written on.
It's not just this company, they were easy enough to deal with but there was a distinct lack of communication, it's the system.
I don't doubt there are some good inspectors out there, but finding them is more luck than judgement and the average purchaser is entirely in their hands.
Home buyer reports are - in their present form - a necessary evil & nothing more than a money making exercise for those that provide them.
I would recommend finding a very good reputable builder - with experience of the type of property to be inspected - to do the inspection, and also engaging independent specialists like an electrician & a plumber to carry out their own specific inspections on the property.
It will cost more but the result will be a whole lot more accurate.
These type of specialists should be offered as optional extras by any company offering to do inspections but in my recent experience they're not.

I am pleased with the way the survey was done and the survey report was exhaustive. I got a good friendly service and it was done by a FRICS qualified surveyor. It was easy enough to book online and the price was good and got the report after a week. Would happily recommend them.

The process from start to finish was straightforward, it couldn't have been easier. The report was indepth and comprehensive. I have no concerns in using this service again.

Generally a good experience, communication could have been a little bit better when the planned survey didn't take place on time, but nothing that would cause complaint.

The premium report is very detailed. Puts your mind at rest when making such an important purchase. On the scale of things at a fraction of the total cost.

I was at first a bit unsure about using a purely online based serviced but after reading the positive reviews I decided to try it. The service I received was excellent from start to finish. Outstanding customer service from the appointed local firm of Surveyors, friendly uncomplicated emails informing me of progress and the full survey report was delivered within a working week of the Surveyor's visit. It was and concise. Well worth the money.
