Having shopped around they were by far the cheapest ,The home buyers survey was carried by Donald Leslie and co and they were GREAT ,the survey itself was so informative and easy to read and in the long run will same me tens of thousands,booking was so easy and i would not hesitate to recommend this service to all .Also a big thank you to Donald Leslie and a great report.

I was found another surveyor very quickly when the original surveyor could not complete within the timeframe

We hired a property surveyor from here. The one we chose turned out to be less than professional. He missed the documentation for the central heating system, although it was in plain view. He decided not to examine the plumbing, because the water was turned off - the stop tap was in the garage! And he decided it was too dangerous to enter the loft, so gave no report on the roof space; a vital area for any homebuyer. He later went back, at extra cost, to examine the loft, when the estate agent offered to accompany him to hold his ladder.
All this seemed unnecessary to me. He knew the property was uninhabited, so why didn't he check with the estate agent, where he had to go to collect the keys, before he made his inspection? Unprofessional.

Took a while to be informed about allocated date & surveyor but am very pleased with the report which was ready to read the very next day.

I shopped around for a Homebuyer Survey - with all the expenses that come with buying a house, price was definitely an important factor for us. Homebuyer Online was by far the best price at £400 incl VAT (about £100 cheaper than most others!).
The process was efficient and clearly explained - our surveyor was allocated and carried out the survey within a week of booking. He dealt direct with the Estate Agent making it easy for us. He was really helpful and quick to reply to any queries we had throughout the process. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone!

The report was available to download the following working day from the appointment and highlighted some useful points, it was also written in an easy to understand way.

The Report was delivered before its promised date and contained most of the information required.
I had to respond to the Surveyor as the report failed to report the full number of rooms in the building making us wonder how thoroughly the inspection/survey of the building was carried out.
No corrected accurate Report was reissued.

Maybe I got lucky with Stuart Francis of Monaco Surveyors - I don't know, however Im very relieved he did survey the property I wanted to buy. He called me before he viewed it, and explained that surveys can make for 'depressing reading', so would want to discuss my concerns after I received it. I received the report within 24 hours of him viewing the property - incredible, given the level of detail in it. And Ive had not one conversation with him following the report but several - and he is still committed to helping me make the right decision. Ultimately, he has potentially saved me 10s of thousands of pounds.

The surveyor turned up on time and was very efficient and friendly. We received an online version of the report within 24 hours.
I would reccomend this company as they were cheaper than others and their service ticked all the boxes for us!

Competitively priced, kept me informed throughout and booked in the survey well before others were able to do so. I was also able to contact the surveyor direct with any queries. Easy to use service, would definitely use again.

Booked & paid for the service and was led to believe that a surveyor would contact me within 2 days. No contact whatsoever so tried to contact them by phone no luck. Email no luck. Finally got an email back after 10 days telling me that no local surveyor was available and my fee had been refunded. Sourced a local surveyor myself who was extremely efficient and cheaper. Would not recommend Homebuyer Online.

It took well over a week to get the details of the surveyor but the report was produced within a couple of days of the survey and I thought it was thorough and easy to read. I wanted to follow up one of the issues that had been highlighted and the surveyor appeared to be more than happy to spend time discussing the issue with me by phone, and reassured me that the problem was not really as bad as it sounded..

No need to elaborate on that..
