I make order few items on aug 23 and it does not come to me. It does not even shipped although i live in Ottawa and their shop locate in same province.

Funfact: i ordered gun attachments from Ali Express which locate in china area "2 weeks" after i made order to that scammers arrived here today before they ship my items. What a amazing service. They ride on iceberg instead of they using Intel com or Canada post. I did not even know i will get the stuff from opposite of the planet before i get ordered stuffs from same province.

Do not make any deal with them just buy something in Amazon or Ali Express.

I was out of my patient for waiting 500 dollar stuff since aug 23. So, i have opened dispute and as soon as they sending my package.

We can figure out 3 fact from here.
1. They got my stuff in their storage
2. They could sending my stuff, but they didn't
3. As the fact that they sending right after they got dispute, we can think they want neither to give my money back and send my package to me in 15 days however they could.

Do not make a deal with them. Avoid this sh[t or right after you order your stuff, open the dispute they will send your item as fast as amazon prime does.

Unclear labelling means that items appear in stock but are not. Consequently, I ordered a knife that was not out of stock (indications were the order was being filled) and in a day or two got an email that item is out of stock and not aware when they will get them. Offered me to select another product. Irritating but I did change my order. That was also not in stock! Cancelled orders and will not ever shop there again. I will pay more for shops tht are clear on their sites.

I ordered before i get to see all the reviews... and i was thinking to myself.. OMG what have i done. But....
after ordering the same day i had a notice that the product i wanted wasnt available...( no big deal it happens) so the problem was easily fixed has ''they''( Justin FTW) orffered to replace my unavailable item with a beter one! why not. 2 of the 3 items ordered didnt shipped yet.... Means i received in 2 days the replacement item in FAST shipping UPS express..wich i didnt ask for but still....was very conveniant and kind of them! So ... i beleive they will ship the rest of my parts anytime...im not too worried... I was just expecting to get them all at once. still happy to have received in such a short spawn as allr eviews where about everlasting waiting time and problems.

Justin was prompt and easy to deal with, answered fast and solved problem quick with good alternative.

I received a partial order?!I did not authorized to ship a partial order. I requested to not send the order unless it was complete. I paid the $40 shipping and handling for 3 items , not for 2. Shipping only 2 without was NOT acceptable. If I want 3rd item as soon as it is available I'd have to pay again?! Customer service Did not answer any emails and did not issue a full refund for ALL items including s&h. Poor quality items were shipped, falling apart. Not recommended.

Worst company ever. This is the third time buying with them( always had issues with my order) and NEVER AGAIN. my last order was on a crimson trace ls-250 GREEN laser. Took a month to get my items and they shipped me the red one!! I also did put a note on the order saying GREEN LASER ONLY. Been scammed on a 360$ laser. They never replied to my multiple messages and it's almost impossible to get them on the phone. NEVER AGAIN. DON'T TRUST THEM.

They will not answer and emails I send and the phones never work. I have even set messages on there internal message system to no answer. I am going to contact BBB and also the rcmp as they are a dishonest company that takes your money and do not ship your orders. Stay away from this company

I ordered 3 items and received none of them. They screwed up the order multiple times and take over 1 week to respond to e-mails or never at all.
Save yourself the headache and stay away at all costs. High prices too.

Terrible, awful, thieves, scammers, avoid at all costs, wish I had looked here first. They took my money, no product, no response. Now I have to go back to my bank and file a complaint. Evil people as they are knowingly stealing. I cannot believe the Canadian banking system allows them to have an account.

every order so far received with no problems and in timely manner; lots of variety and hard to find items; good mix of high quality stuff and lower cost stuff like military cargo pants that you can use for outside work or in the bush

My son ordered a gun. After waiting more then the 20 business days that it might take, I started trying to make contact. After 35 working days and still unable to make contact, I opened up a PayPal dispute. Within a week I had a full refund. That makes me suspect that PayPal disputes are not uncommon for this joke of a company. And then the day after PayPal told me that we’d be getting a full refund, hero outdoors emails and says that they are issuing a full refund because the item is not in stock!! So what, they were just hanging onto my money because they thought that was ok!? Needless to say we will not be placing another order with Hero Outdoors.

take forever receiving your item and you receive the wrong one and they don't want to do a sh1tt about IT . And they stop responding after ... And its been 4 months and still waiting for my safety goggle.... don't buy from them .ho and more then half of my command I get my money back because its out of order but its don't say anywhere when u buy it ... Is a ducking joke

TLDR: Hero Outdoors lied to me 4 times and delivered 1x broken product of 3x boots ordered. This was achieved in approximately 6 weeks, despite the order being annotated for urgency.

I placed a $1000+ order for 3x boots. The comments for the order were annotated as: "time sensitive order, please inform me of any delays". I went with the company because there was no annotation of 'awaiting stock' on the website like most other companies for the boots that I was after.

Lie #1: Having waited 2 weeks with the order stalled at 'awaiting fulfillment', I called. I was told that it will be shipping "next week on Tuesday".

Lie #2: With no news at the end of that week, I called again. I was told this would be looked into and I would be called back.

Lie #3: In the afternoon I called again and was told they were waiting on a big restocking delivery that would be in the following week. I followed up with an email but received no response. No change to the order fulfilled on website.

Lie #4: I called that next week to inform them that I wanted to cancel my order. I did this after having confirmed I could get the boots from 'surpluspontrouge' (who managed to deliver within 24hrs from the opposite Canadian coast). I was told by Hero Outdoors that a refund would require the managers involvement so I would be called back. I was called back and informed that 2x boots were out of stock and I could get them refunded, but the other pair that I wanted had shipped 'last week'. On arrival I checked the tracking number and it was in fact posted the day I called.

Understandably, Hero Outdoors website says "no returns". I doubt they would stay above water without such a policy.

If you are looking for products, I can highly recommend: 'Surpluspontrouge' - Courteous, FAST, and even gave a discount.

Please feel free to comment on this post if you are thinking of going with them so that I can dissuade you from doing so.

Excellent service i bought a mini uzi full auto gas gun I will be purchasing more items in the future very fast delivery

Terrible experience with this retailer. Bought 2 BB guns March 5 2021 on its website. The website noted said orders would be delivered in 5 to 19 business days Canadawide. Nonetheless, I think it is noteworthy to mention that they are in the same area code as me. I tried contacting them more than 5 times since then, starting with a kindly worded email on March 22, 2021. I've also messaged them through their website, and on Twitter with no replies, I REPEAT, 0 replies. I was cordial at first but then began to get a lot more irritated. I had spent a lot of money at the store and they didn't even have the common courtesy to email me after a week.

I finally received 1 of the items that I had ordered on Saturday, April 11 almost 1 MONTH AND 1 WEEK AFTER PLACING it. And again, I need to point that I could have driven to their storefront in 30 minute with no traffic. To add insult to injury, they unilaterally cancelled the other item on the order without EVEN SO MUCH as asking me if this action was okay. They gave me the money back for that 1 item but not shipping which I had already paid. I honestly can't tell if the people who work and own this business are completely incompetent in customer service, communication and running an online business or my mind is open to the possibility could be that they could be scammers.

I made a $100+ order over two months ago, yet I have not gotten any response or update to my order. They make no attempt to respond to my tickets or calls. Very disappointed....
