hello vans was amazing and super quick, efficient and professional team, especially shout out to Farid! i couldn’t be happier with their work. nothing compared to my last move with another company. id choose you again anyday!

I paid an additional £82 after being advised that a medium van would not fit my belongings. On the day, a Luton van arrived and our items occupied only a small portion of the vehicle, making the upgrade unnecessary.

The driver arrived accompanied by his child without any prior disclosure or consent, which raised safeguarding and insurance concerns, particularly as I had confirmed I would not be travelling with the driver.

The driver also returned to our address the following day without prior agreement.

I raised these issues directly with the company, but my concerns regarding consent, safeguarding, and the necessity of the additional charge were not satisfactorily addressed. I am now escalating the matter through the appropriate UK consumer channels.

We had an excellent experience with Farid and his team member today. They were extremely efficient, packed all our goods with care and attention and got the job done with no stress, even though it was pouring with rain. The easiest and stress free move we've had to date. Would highly recommend and will not hesitate to use again in the future. Bhaktiyar and his colleagues were great! They arrived on time, did the work quickly and efficiently, but they were also friendly and funny. I enjoyed my moving experience!

It is not easy to find a safe, reliable and decent mover in this country, especially when you are moving over a long distance. I am not doing a 500 miles run this time, but a solid 3 hours drive and 2 flights of stairs is not for the faint of the heart. I have heard horror story such as demanding a 3 times payment after loading your life into their van, 2 men harrassing a single woman etc. Moving is expensive per se, I have used AnyVan twice before but both were super local under 5 miles, so after balancing budget and word of mouth etc. I decided to go with Hello Vans.

The quotation is fast but not cheap, it is comparable to the big boys chain but neither did I have great experience with big brand, so I gave it a go with some cautions (pass them only the things that I can live the rest of my life without, with me moving my own stuff in my own car for a few trips etc.). The admin is not the best, the system couldn't capture my full address despite a real person writing to ask for anything after the post code (and the driver on that day also did not have the house number on their order SMS, they showed it to me the only thing they got was the post code). But at least the platform is decent enough to disclose the exact amount I have paid before VAT on the order SMS. This is important since the real worker gets a fair treatment and they will in turn give you the service that you paid for.

Ok, finally on the moving day. I have received a couple confirmation SMSs on the day before. Then the driver called me a hour before to ask for my house number. They showed up on time, asked if they can pull into my drive, took their time to arrange all the boxes and stuff in their van, and showed up at my new place in 3 hours (120 miles routing through some busy motor way). Well equiped, didn't throw my thing although I was not watching, no complaints about the 2 flights of stairs, carry boxes and all one by one, and requested my help on only one shelf that really need 2 persons.

Clean, sleek, safe, not the cheapest but reasonable. If you can afford, please.

Paul and Martin were absolutely fab they did me a furniture/boxes move to cottingham and did an amazing job. They went out and beyond to help to make this process as easy as possible.
