I called the store in the Merry Hill shopping centre and spoke to Mario who was amazing and very helpful. I had been on the search for a satellite dish all over and was nearly giving up. But he couldn’t have made it any easier for me. Thankyou so much literally turned up the next day after ordering. Great customer service.

I placed an order with Harvey Norman Merry Hill for a sofa and related items totalling just under £1,900, with delivery scheduled in advance to align with an international house move.

Due to an internal error, the delivery did not take place as agreed. I was informed at short notice, after already travelling to the property specifically for the delivery. This left me without any seating in a newly occupied home, and I had no option but to spend an additional £179 on temporary furniture just to make the space usable over the weekend.

What followed was a very frustrating experience. I had to repeatedly chase for updates, calls went unanswered, and promised callbacks did not happen. There was a clear lack of urgency in addressing an issue that was entirely caused by the company.

In particular, my interactions with Caleb, the store manager, were difficult. I found him to be defensive and not especially proactive in resolving the situation, and I was ultimately left feeling that I had to drive the process forward myself.

That said, I do want to recognise Emily in the Merry Hill store, who was consistently helpful and responsive when I was able to reach her.

The situation was eventually escalated to head office, where Kirsty, the Furniture Case Manager, handled the matter with empathy and professionalism. She took the time to understand the full situation and worked towards a fair resolution, which I appreciated.

Mistakes can happen, but the difference lies in how they are handled. Unfortunately, the initial handling at store level fell well below expectations. While the final resolution was fair, the overall experience means I would be hesitant to purchase from Harvey Norman again.

I had a great experience at Harvey Norman. The staff veronica and mathew were extremely helpful in guiding me through choosing the right PC for my needs. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the best options before making a decision. They also helped set everything up, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Really appreciate the excellent customer service

absolute shambles ordered a dyson v11 which never got delivered this was back in february. i’ve sent proof that delivery wasn’t sent as apparently it was delivered to my back porch ( which i don’t have)! i even sent proof that id instructed dpd to leave with my neighbour which they confirmed and then didnt do!
emails back and fourth for months and still no replacement or refund , these people are theives avoid at all costs

Been to the Merry Hill branch today to order our sofa, precious and Emily were amazing, explained all the options to us, made us feel comfortable in what can be a bit of an uncomfortable scenario!

Thanks to Precious & Emily, we’ll definitely be back if we need a footstool!

Just spoke to Jordan and Brad on the Harvey Norman stand very informative about the slushie machine and very professional.

I came in not expecting much. I didn't know Harvey Norman had such a great selection of electrical goods. Upon entering Garry approached us to see if we needed help.
He made the experience easy. He was knowledgable and helpful. None of the pressurised selling we had experienced from other retailers.
We left with what we needed, and at a great price. I would definitely go to H.N again, before visiting other retailers. Special thank you to Garry.

Mario at the Merry Hill branch provided exceptional service.

MacBook Neos were flying off the shelves, and I was desperate to get the blush version for my daughter before she flew back to college after Easter. I called the store, and Mario went above and beyond to help. He managed to secure the last blush model in store and arranged for it to be posted out quickly.

This was my first time purchasing from Harvey Norman, and thanks to Mario’s outstanding support, I would definitely buy from them again!

Bought a washing machine which unfortunately had a fault called them and arranged a replacement,called back to the Shop to resolve any issues ,Spoke to Garry who was so helpful in resolving any issues I had a really great guy, there extended warranties are a great price,have a look if your buying something with only 1 years Warranty a Washing machine is only £47 to extend the Warranty to another 4 years,the store is also great with lots of choice so well done Garry and Harvey Norman👍🥳

I purchased an iPhone from your merry hill store this week. The service I received was brilliant. Mario helped with my choice of phone and sold me what I needed to get started. Plug etc. there was no pressure.
Mathew transferred my data to my new phone. Always polite and helpful.

Excellent service from the moment we walked into the shop we were looking to buy two new mobile phones spoke to Veronika who gave us Excellent service and advice after purchasing the phones we opted for the set up service Gab sorted our new phones transferring data from our old phones again Excellent efficient service would highly recommend. Great visit, super helpful and knowledgeable! Paige helped us decide on a Shark Hoover, in fact Paige explained why we should purchase a specific model on sale, taking the time to clearly explain and go through the description.

We then went on to look at Fridge Freezers where we met Kenny, he actually remembered my name from a visit 2 months ago where i purchased a tumble dryer. Today Kenny, much like Paige was again extremely knowledgeable and clearly explained the merits of the fridge freezer which we purchased.

As we were heading to pay and accepting the additional warranty Paige along with Lucy were able to sell us a toaster!
