Hi Susan,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed.

I’ve checked your order with us, and it was placed as a standard hamper without a gift card added at checkout. Gift cards are an optional extra, so if one isn’t selected, the hamper is sent without a message enclosed.

It’s also possible there may have been some confusion with another order placed with a different company, as we can only include a card when one is added during the ordering process. This is the first time I’ve heard that the card was missing, but I have emailed you the confirmation email again, you would receive this at the time of ordering this shows that no card was added. We’re very sorry to hear you were disappointed with your order, and we genuinely wish you had contacted us directly so we could have resolved this for you.

To clarify a few important points for transparency:
Our hampers are not “thrown together.” Each hamper is carefully packed by hand and contains the exact items shown on the product image, or a like-for-like substitute where clearly stated and subject to availability. Items such as the Lindor chocolates shown in the image are included as pictured.

We have checked your order confirmation for Order #24604, which was emailed to you immediately after checkout. No greeting card or message was selected or purchased with this order, so unfortunately no card could have been omitted. The confirmation email provides customers with the opportunity to review all details and contact us straight away if anything is incorrect.

Regarding the packaging, we have no record of any contact by email or phone to report damage on delivery. If we had been notified, we would have immediately arranged collection and either a replacement or a full refund, depending on your preference. We always stand over our products and our service.

It’s disappointing to receive a one-star review without being given the opportunity to put things right, as customer care is extremely important to us. We will re-send your order confirmation for your reference, which clearly shows no card was added to the order.

Hi Deirdre many thanks for your review. I’m sorry to hear that, they’re all made exactly the same so possibly it was moved in transit as they all go out exactly the same 100% made by the same person with the same contents so should be the same, if you had contacted us we would’ve helped you but this is the first time we’re hearing about this which is unfortunate .

You should always try to contact the company prior so that we can help. If you have any pictures and would like to exchange the product for full refund or a new product. You can let me know by contacting us on our email address or reply to your confirmation email. Many thanks for your review.
