Superfast delivery. What is best is they offer descaling services when you buy fish, at no extra cost. I haven't this on any other websites selling frozen whole fish.

⚠️ Beware of Green Oranges – Extremely Disappointing and Suspicious Experience
I’m sharing this so others don’t end up going through the same frustrating experience I’ve had.
I placed an order on 19th Feb (Ref: 145805) for prawns through the Green Oranges website. The product delivered was not the one I ordered. After a lot of effort trying to reach someone, I finally received a WhatsApp message from a team member who acknowledged the mistake and confirmed that a refund would be processed.
Since then, however, it has been complete silence.
I have sent multiple follow-up WhatsApp messages, emails, and made numerous calls, but no one has responded, and no refund has been issued. The money is still not back in my account.
What makes this worse is that the mistake was already acknowledged by their team, yet they have simply stopped responding altogether.
At this point, it honestly feels like a scammy way of doing business — sending the wrong or lower-value product, calling it a “mistake,” promising a refund, and then disappearing when the customer tries to follow up.
People should think twice before ordering from this website and be prepared for zero communication if something goes wrong. Businesses like this should not be allowed to operate.

Unfortunate fall from grace

I should have checked their Trustpilot ratings before my recent purchase. After leaving London, this was my only way of getting very specific fish, meat and vegetables which only Bengalis would understand.
At first, it was brilliant, good quality, prompt responses, delivery on time. Then after a gap, I received a 10% discount coupon and decided to buy some fish and gondhoraaj lemon (Order ID 145433)
This is when things started to go wrong. When my basket was finalised and I chose to use my coupon, my basket cost went down by 10% but my delivery cost went up by 10%. That was a bit disingenuous.
I still decided to go ahead. Order was placed on 10/02/2026. I booked the delivery for 12/02/2026. DPD delayed it by a day, so delivery was now on the 13/02/2026. As I was buying fish, I was concerned of the quality, so I emailed GreenOranges. They assured me that they packed the fish in pharmaceutical grade packing (which is true). This would preserve the quality for 72 hours. So, the quality would be compromised if the delivery now happens on 14/02/2026.
5 pm on 13/02/2026, still no delivery. So I emailed GreenOranges, told them that it is already quite late, and since I wont be home to receive the delivery on the 14/02/2026, let us talk re-delivery or refund. No response. But somehow DPD managed to deliver it at 7:25 pm on 13/02/2026.
When I opened the box, the fish looked quite well wrapped, but ofcourse, it was not frozen. I immediately put the fish into my freezer. Fingers crossed, hopefully the fish would be ok.
That's when I saw the lemons. One of them was fine. The other one was pale yellow and already rotting. I wish I could attach the picture I took, when I emailed GreenOranges back.
I wasn't expecting that from GreenOranges, but now that I have read some of the reviews over here, its not surprising.
This is so unfortunate, that a business would have such a fall from grace.
I hope they recover, I will keep an eye out to see if they improve. Till then, I'll keep searching for alternatives

"DONT BE FOOLED"

"DONT BE FOOLED". Initially I thought id found the perfect online shop for my sauces, spices, poppadoms etc.
I even had a call from the loveliest lady as an item was out of stock & we discussed a replacement. All seemed perfect. This call was was received when i was in the staff room on our lunch break and I was telling everyone about the great products and service. The order arrived quickly. A small mishap with one box that had been shattered and contents spilled out and another item was completely different to what the picture showed. The main issue was the stupidest of things. I ordered 2 bottles of sauce for my hubby and they sent the wrong ones. Easy mistake yeh? Well, they will not replace these with the correct ones, nor give me a full refund for them. They are now telling me they are out of stock but they still show as available! They have issued me with a 50% refund (even though i declined this and said it wasnt acceptable) for sauces I neither ordered nor will use. Does this sound petty? Yes I agree with you, it does. Its now the principle of the matter. Ive been patient and fair over 2 weeks of being ignored and fobbed off. Unfortunately this little diamond i though I'd found, turned out to be a dud.

and getting seasonal fruit and vegetables from our country is so satisfactory,
quality of meat ,fish, poultry is so good that I can give them 100 points on that,

The 'Fresh' Promise, Kept

If you’re hungry for real freshness, don't sleep on Green Oranges. I’m a customer because they actually deliver on the 'fresh' promise—no wilted greens or questionable meat here.
Their descaling service for fish is a game-changer! It saves so much time in the kitchen.
The only thing that could make them better is faster updates on out-of-stock items. Sometimes the heart wants what the website says is there! Still, for quality alone, they are the best in the area

Fraud - Avoid

I had purchased a large amount of shopping from this shop/online shop. When I received my ordered items, I found rotten items, some damaged/open‑package items, and also two missing items.

When I raised a complaint, “Mr. Tapojoy Chattarjee” came back with a £7.98 refund to their shopping wallet, whereas I had asked for a full refund to my bank for those damaged and missing items. That means I need to use that money on their website again, which is totally rubbish.

It is not about money, it is about dignity. We came to this country from Asia. This sort of people ruined Asian reputation. We were never conned by British people here — only conned by our own people. Shame on you.

Poor Quality. Unprofessional customer service,

I used to be a regular online shopper for a very long time.
In last few orders the quality of vegetables and fish is awful. Vegetables starts to rot the very next day.
They also recently started fake diwali offers.
As their business is growing, owners are loosing their professional responsibility.
They will bother you on call, sms and WhatsApp if the item are not available, so that they dont loose the profit. But when you reach out to them with feedback or query, they respond rudely saying that you contacted on their personal number, which they used to contact in first place to contact me.
Highly disappointed!!!

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. They least bother to inform about missing products in my order & didn’t even refund my money. Despite reaching out multiple times via whatsapp, email there has been no resolution .I would not recommend purchasing from them.

Wrong item sent out. Emailed twice. Used their WhatsApp live chat service. No response. They sent out a cheaper item which I was happy to keep but asked them to refund the difference in cost but they haven't. From what I have heard this is a common occurrence.

Green Oranges, please take note of this. I work at a very senior level within healthcare which has a tremendous reach nationally on social media.

All I ask is that you offer me an apology for sending out the wrong item and refund the difference. It really isn't that hard to do.

To everyone else out there, if you intend to order from this company please do with caution. A company that truly cares about it's customers would not treat them like this.

The large number of of one star reviews is testimony to this.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

In the past few weeks I ordered twice from them. They are misselling, not only delivering products that are different to the one ordered, not refunding the difference in price, selling products that are past its expiry date. For the first order I did contact them twice but received no response. Didn't bother contacting them the second time.
Won't touch them with a barge pole in future.

Total downfall of a once great supermarket

I usually avoid giving any negative reviews. For circumstances beyond our control, things do go wrong now and then. At the end of the day, even the business owners are humans, and are prone to making mistakes once in a while. The most important thing here is acknowledging the mistake and avoid repeating the same kind of mistakes. I am based in London, and despite having loads of Bangladeshi supermarkets here, I decided to encourage a startup like Greenoranges and ordered online at least 10 times since they were set up around 2020/2021. They started off very well initially with excellent quality and packaging and then from around 2022/2023 things started going horribly wrong - missing items, damaged items, rotten items, compounded with pathetic customer service. I tried being patient each time, but now I think it's high time I warn ALL customers (particularly Bengali customers of Kolkata origin) to avoid this place. Don't fall for their online orders - 9 out of 10 times their vegetables are shrivelled and rotten. Their fresh fish is still not that bad, but way too expensive compared to brick and mortar shops. Their packaging used to be flawless - but quite a few times the ice packaging tears apart and risks the fish getting contaminated. And worst part is - once they deliver, it's nearly impossible to get hold of their customer service and get a refund on your card. They refund instead to your online account wallet - thus forcing you to reorder from them. And even if you manage to get hold of them, they don't bother about apologising about any mistakes made and instead of trying to fix things professionally, they show an unacceptable attitude. Their Google Reviews started taking such a nosedive (from 5 stars to below 2.x star) that they actually deleted their Google Business account (GMB). At the time of posting this review, I could not locate their Google Reviews. Ordering from them is like a gamble nowadays with high odds of receiving substandard food - and this is from a long term customer. Worst part is that they turn a blind eye to all the complaints - a deadly cocktail of arrogance and apathy.
It really saddens me to see the downfall of such a promising shop in such a short time. PS - Don't get misled by the awards received and flaunted by it's owner on social media. If you don't believe in the recent negative reviews, order a few times and see for yourself. You have been warned!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, charged me for an order, didn't have the order and never gave me my refund in over 4 months!! On pursuing, only returned HALF of my payment, don't respond to messages - DON'T BUY!!!

The company actively deletes any…

The company actively deletes any negative comments made on its social media page. Recently their iOS app got banned perhaps due to bugs but the admin refuses to acknowledge this. My prior experience with buying on their app hasn’t been too good anyway, since I had to reclaim money from my credit card after receiving damaged goods as they didn’t provide any refunds. The customer care is rude and arrogant, who believe they are doing charity instead of running a business.
