Susan Berkley is a gem. She is one of the most distinguished voice acting instructor/consultants in New York. Her Boot Camp gave me all the tools I needed ( voice as well as technical) to launch my career in voice acting. This was a concentrated, hands on program that covered all aspects of the profession (audition, agents, casting etc.) Adriana Davis offered her unique insights into production and direction. Mark Graskemper ensured that everyone had achieved proficiency in the use of equipment and software. All of this occurred in a very supportive environment. I absolutely enjoyed the weekend; all three days were packed with outstanding training, coaching, and mentoring by Susan, Adriana, Randy, Mark, and Chris. I left feeling much more confident in my voiceover ability as well as my sales & marketing, and technical skills. I'm ready to move forward with my voiceover career thanks to this talented group of professionals; this course was worth every penny!

Being from rural Ohio, I was really hesitant to head to New York for the Immersion Experience, but am I ever glad I did!

As soon as I walked through the door, I was welcomed and immediately felt accepted; No judgment, just a friendly group of people eager to help new talent in anyway they could. This positive attitude translated into a fun, informative three days of working behind the mic and receiving genuine advise that has no doubt helped me get going since I returned home.

Susan has a no-nonsense approach, telling you what works and what doesn't in the voice over industry, which as a beginner, I really appreciate so I don't develop bad practice. My consultation with Mark at Great Voice was really valuable. He gave great feedback and direction, and provided some very helpful insights into how I use my voice, the industry, production etc. One thing I appreciated is that he did not hurry the call along in any way. He gave me the time I needed for each read, and patiently and honestly answered my questions. I never felt there was a sales pitch at all, and I really felt he was there to help - and he did! I would definitely recommend the Great Voice phone consultation, and based on my experience with Mark I'm seriously considering some of their other courses.
