Fraud/scam.
Requested a refund back in 2022 and was advised against it by one of their employees- told me they can freeze my account until I am happy to proceed but they cannot refund me. Recently reached out asking about the refund and I keep receiving the same email. My case is not eligible for refund as per section12.4 of the terms of use.
The newest excuse: “Nevertheless, UIS Canada carefully considers and honors some refund requests. Under specific circumstances, e.g.: (a) the applicant has undertaken to provide all the requested documentation and necessary information and (b) no investment of Great North Visa`s manpower hours was dedicated to your file and (c) a short period of time elapsed from the payment and your refund request. ”

FYI- I requested the refund since NO manpower was invested into my case and I believe the refund was requested in a timely manner.

Apparently they try to contact you to resolve the matter but couldn’t reach you, which is a lie cause I never received any notification of a missed call. And they take up to a month to respond on emails.

Complete fraud, different people with fictional names brought us to pay 8.000 USD, GNV case 50302 and they just collected all the data from us, no step done in the direction of an official application. Silly as we were we just then stopped the process and contacted the police. A Canadian friend living in Vancouver helped us: there is no office at the address in Vancouver, operating with a US-American number should make you be aware that something is going wrong. The address in Gibraltar: check the address by google maps, ridiculous front of a building. The police in Vancouver could not even find a company at the address or surrounding. We got an offer for refund 1/4 of the payments, after discounting a bunch of fictional hours „working“ (check the terms and conditions for their hourly rates, crazy) on our case, ending up with this insane offer. Immigration guys: the Canadian government gives you the advice on their website: the immigration process doesn’t need any assistance, it’s clear and simple and the official authorities will help you wherever needed. So GNV: if you’re so trustful as you say: money back on our bank account would easy.

This company scammed my brother out of thousands of pounds, promising so many different things. What’s worse, is the lack of communication and response after the trauma of losing all the money.

It seems as though they capitalise on people who need guidance when in the end, my brother went about his tourist visa (which then transferred into a working visa) all by himself.

They collected and verified documentation and submitted the application, but other than that, it was all a waiting game to see if any companies wanted to employ my brother. He is a well established healthcare worker that would have many opportunities in any country.

Unfortunately, everytime they did anything or responded to anything, it would cost him hundreds more.

Avoid using, and take the time to do it all yourself or work with your own government to get advice!

If communication and response was offered, maybe there could be a solution/resolve meant but they have ignored him and washed their hands of him

j'ai eu mon visa en 6 mois grâce à leur service. j'ai été accompagné dans ma recherche de travail, dans les démarches administrative et dans les échanges avec l'entreprise dans laquelle je vais travailler.

J’ai obtenue mon visa en 3 mois seulement. Équipe à l’écoute et qui donne d excellent conseil.

Toute l'équipe est très réactive, ils m'ont bien aidé, quand j'avais une question ils y répondaient dans la journée soit par mail ou téléphone, et ils sont très sympa !

They give me all the recourses and facilities in order to get all the process done and it's easy to contact with the company. The had an eye on me and my case to no waste my time and they notify me when something came up.

Le travail a été correctement effectué et la demande a été aboutie, et le personnel est efficace et facilement joignable mais j'ai quelques critiques. Premièrement, l'équipe m'a précisé que le système était bien plus complexe qu'il ne l'était alors qu'en réalité, une demande de visa se réalise facilement seul, sans frais autres que les gouvernementaux. Par ailleurs, je comprends le business plan mais me suis senti un peu "poussé" alors qu'initialement, je recherchais juste quelques informations pour les démarches. Ensuite, mon avis sur la communication des documents reste ambivalent car certains documents importants ne m'ont pas étés envoyés directement et j'ai eu besoin de les demander, par ailleurs, certains autres documents m'ont étés envoyés directement sans besoin de demande. Heureusement, l'équipe reste très joignable, très polie et de bons conseils. Le système en lui-même fonctionne très bien et facilite la vie. Par ailleurs, si vous êtes débrouillards au minimum et que vous préférez économiser, je vous conseille de faire les démarches par vous même car j'ai personnellement ressenti la pression de "la machine" pour m'inciter à souscrire rapidement ces services alors que j'aurais pu effectuer ces démarches moi-même et économiser mon argent. Le travail étant fait correctement et les conseils étants pertinents, je remercie tout de même Great North Visa.

The staff were very happy, kind and helpful on the phone and email communications. they answered any question i had and also gave free points of advise which were very useful.

Their replies in this review, my previous review & my partner’s review is a lie, they stated “ Nonetheless, you are still entitled to receiving the service you purchased now or in the future.”
Yet we have emailed for them to start my partners PR & they have not responded since 1st April when we last emailed them. How can they not refund us but then also not provide the service? Make a decision. How can they say they have not had a response since 30th March when we have our email saved sent to them on 1st April.
Please do not work with this company if you value your money, time or mental wellbeing. repeatedly lie in their responses on trustpilot & should be reprimanded for that as well. They have also tried to make us sign a NDA to not post any negative reviews about them online & have made false accusations of bullying when it can be proven in all our saved correspondence that this not the case. They were also contacted by Better business bureau in relation to our documented concerns & did not respond to them. Now they have made slanderous accusations. Their ‘replies’ below are fraudulent responses. I don’t understand their reasoning for lying as everything is documented so every single thing we have said on here can be proven.
The whole matter could have been dealt with so long ago when we initially asked for a refund or asked them to provide the service for the PR.

An absolute waste of money. They are very quick to send you statements and call you when they need you to pay for something, but after they have their money you can’t get through to them.

I have emailed multiple times and never got any response. When I finally did they referred me to someone new whose email address now no longer exists.

They fill you with hope and paint this picture perfect image and when they have what they want from you, you will never hear from them again.

As a young adult I invested so much hard earned money into this company for a future that they convinced me was within reach, don’t make the same mistake I did.

Mon dossier a été bien suivi. L'organisme m'a soutenu dans toutes les démarches administratives, les personnes de contacts sont très compétentes et à l'écoute. Je suis totalement ravie de la prise en charge car on peut se perdre dans les démarches.

Applied for my canadian permanent residency with these people, they were usless. They use scare tactics to get $1000's from you. Once they have the money, they go AWOL.
Granted, they submitted an application, but it was bogus and submitted at a time they knew canadian boarders were not open yet (which I discovered after talking to a proper immigration lawyer, who advised that I wasted my time and money). The submitted application sat there and expired, since then I have not been able to contact them. All of these issues are before I even get to the lack of communication, assistance, empathy etc.

I've since done an application myself, with zero issues and have had my PR approved. Don't listen to them if they tell you it's dangerous to do this, because they will say that.
