Not the best service Jill provided as it seemed like she was annoyed by talking to me over the phone few times and on emails. I provided a feedback to her manager and hopefully other people would be treated better way than me.

Gowing Law is helping me to complete the repairs that had been pending for more than two years. This was done professionally throughout. However, some repairs were left out not approved as agreed with Gowing Law. The repairs too were not completed on time as agreed.

This has been going on since September 2024. Gowing Law keeps you updated on what is happening. And it’s still ongoing with the disrepair with the council as I type this rating for Gowing Law. sometimes I get confused when there’s more than one person who contacts me.

It was a very quick and efficient service, The team were very patient and explained the process. I had nothing to lose and was dealing with the council which are super problematic and avoids answering Tennant. Took the stress from me when dealing with the council

They have great team and response to the issue straight away and in my case they did very well and I’m amazed by the amount of progress they have made towards the completion of the work and put pressure on the council to complete the work in property. overall I’m satisfied with everything that they done for me.

I felt a little wary to begin with as i had never heard of Gowing Law. I also wondered if I was doing the right thing going with solicitors to get my voice heard and work done by the landlords! I’ve had a really positive experience with Growing Law. They supported me with several issues around my home, including windows with condensation and new trunking in the bathroom. They also made sure the council dealt with the mould in my kitchen cupboards and even helped me get an extractor fan fitted in the bathroom. I had a disrepair case with this firm, and I strongly advise against using their services. I was misled into signing a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) that stipulated I would accept 25% of the rent due to disrepair. What it conveniently left out was that I endured nearly two years of severe mould issues, which significantly impacted my health and mental well-being. It was utterly unacceptable!

This firm ignored the mould-ridden items that I had to discard—clothes, towels, linens, handbags, shoes, and more. I have concrete evidence of my claims.

They settled on my behalf for just £1,500 for the rent, which I refused to accept. When I asked for documentation of the settlement offer, I received an email that had clearly been altered, with names and contact details redacted to hide the sender's identity. When I voiced my concerns, I was reminded that I had signed the CFA.

To make matters worse, I received a staggering invoice for £17,500 for their fees, which included an illegal 100% success fee.

I have documents regarding the above.

I urge you to stay far away from this firm and to warn your friends as well. Your well-being and rights matter—do not let this happen to you!
