I switched to Goto Energy a year ago…
I switched to Goto Energy a year ago attracted by a decent saving on my energy costs. It didn't work out quite how I expected as after a few months my monthly payment was increased, however this was still cheaper than my previous supplier. At first I had to submit meter readings, but after about 3-4 months they were able to access my smart meter and the readings were no longer required. I receive an emailed bill every month which is very clear, well laid out and easy to understand so I can track my energy use. I am now approaching the end of my first year contract with Goto and they have been in touch to offer me a new deal, which seems fair and cost effective. Their communication is very good, either by phone or email, so I in general I am very happy with their service and would recommend. I'm only giving them 4 stars as the original saving I was expecting to make when I switched didn't actually work out as well as my payment was increased, but otherwise I can't fault their service and transparency over charges.

goto energy contacted me with a deal to supply gas and electricity to me on terms which are superior to any quotes which I had from comparison sites so I have elected to use them for a further year. Visit their site to see what they can offer you.

I am very impressed with the courtesy…
I am very impressed with the courtesy and efficiency when I recently contacted Gotoenergy and signed up to a new tariff.
The only reason I did not award 5 stars was the price of energy; although Gotoenergy quoted me less than anyone else it was still a significant rise on 2020 prices, I believe all companies are experiencing significant price rises.

Superb service from a small gas and electric company.The service personnel are excellent. The prices are competitive,and they genuinely look to give the customer the best experience in handling queries, and making sure that the customer is 100% happy. A good supplier
A good supplier since direct debits are kept constant each month and the account is easy to manage on-line. The tariffs are very competitive and it is difficult to find any better when renewing.

No hassle and smooth running
Pleased with the way my account has worked during the past year. Monthly email reminders make it easy to send meter readings. I dropped a star because I was sent a plan renewel offer and by the time I went in to renew it, the price per kWh had increased

The comparisons offered online by Goto…
The comparisons offered online by Goto Energy were misleading. They showed how much I would pay on new tarriffs but were not based on my personal consumption, even though the comparisons sent me in their letter were based on my own consumption.. Also after I changed to a variable tariff they told me there would be a substantial increase 1st October. This should have been disclosed clearly and included in the projections. Overall I found the changeover untrustworthy.
