My husband and I went on a 5 day private safari with Gosheni and the experience was beyond incredible.

There are a ton of Safari companies in Tanzania, but the level of service and the friendliness and helpfulness of the people at Gosheni is incomparable.

We had William as a driver and he was both friendly and knowledgeable. He knew everything about all of the parks and animals, and really took the time to answer all of our questions and take us to all of the best places. We saw the big five, but we also saw a long list of incredible moments that we will never forget - two hippos fighting in the water, a heard of buffalo chasing three male lions, a cheetah jumping on the hood of a Jeep, a wildebeest who had just given birth and so many others.

The service on the safari was beyond what I saw from other tour operators. Instead of a boxed lunch with sandwiches, you get a home cooked meal served on real plates and a tablecloth (and even wine!). And the safari hats at the start are an awesome touch!

But the service extends beyond just the safari itself. We worked with Pendo to plan the perfect safari. However, about two weeks before the trip, we found out that my husbands mother was quite ill and that we needed to spend the time with her. While everything was fully paid and the terms clearly said that we could not cancel so close to the start, when we reached out to Pendo, she immediately agreed to move the dates of the trip and she worked with all of the accommodations to move everything without us having to pay a single change fee. It meant so much to us since his mother passed away a few months later and the time we got with her truly was priceless.

As well, at the end of the safari, we opted to do a day hike of Kilimanjaro, which we also booked with Gosheni. Salum (Sam) was our mountain guide and he was wonderful. We are not hikers, and his good attitude and encouragement helped us keep going. And if we ever decide to do the full hike to the Summit, we will definitely ask for Salum to be our guide.

Overall, Gosheni is wonderful! We would recommend them to anyone going to Tanzania - and we hope to be back one day soon!

Having only 3 days for safari due to the short schedule, I was afraid of not being able to see much animals. But our guide, Ben cleared big 5 challenge by day2 4pm. What a great surprise!! And on the top of that, whenever we faced some tough conditions on the road, he went beyond our expectation to offer us the best experience ever. Only can strongly strongly recommend!!!!! I should not forget to mention his great sense of humour. Two thumbs up!!

The Safari was amazing from the first minute when Ben (our guide) welcomed us at the airport with a surprise breakfast on a table like real VIPs, it instantly relaxed us and made us feel very comfortable.
Then… it could start. Surprise after surprise we enjoyed the unexpected and unique moments and discoveries.
Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti was amazing, the expectations were overwhelmed and Ben explained in an interesting way everything, so we were able to fully enjoy the experience. Ben was very kind and funny, the right balance between friendly and professional.
I recommend this Safari and Gosheni for the perfectly planned trip. Car was perfectly comfortable and clean.
We will call them for the next Safari trip with no hesitation !

a wonderful 7 days journey! unforgettable bush lunch under the background of mirgration, and Laban is a good guide who always try his best to meet your all requierments.

Fantastic 10 day safari across Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ndutu.This is not our first safari but Laban was the best tour guide we have had. Everything was taken care of from the food to travel arrangements as well as ad hoc requests we had along the way. We were well taken care of (4 of us) and everything was catered to.

More importantly, we also borrowed his professional camera and were able to capture some amazing game footage (important for Instagram ;))

We traveled with Laban and enjoy the 10 day safari trip. Laban is very experienced, professional and kind to everyone. I highly recommend him!

I had a wonderful few days touring Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks with Ombeni. We saw so many animals up close, and he was very knowledgeable about the different ones. He was also a great driver through all sorts of muddy and bumpy roads during some occasional heavy rains!

Na poslední chvíli jsme se rozhodli, že pojedeme do Afriky. Přes cestovní kancelář Grand Afrika, která všechno rychle a perfektně zorganizovala, jsme se z ničeho nic ocitli na letišti a Arusha. Po půl hodinovém letu jsme přistáli na letišti v Ndutu. Zde nás přivítal usměvavý a vždy veselý průvodce Viliam. Projel s námi čtyři Národní parky - Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro a Tarangire. Během cesty nebyl nikdy žádný problém vždyť co jsme si přáli to se stalo. Díky šikovnosti našeho průvodce vylijeme a taky určitě dávky štěstí jsme viděli všechna zvířata která byla možne6 vidět. Viděli jsme celou takzvanou velkou pětku tedy lvi , leopardy, slony, nosorožce a hrochy. Některá zvířata jsme viděli takové blízkosti že jsem si to vůbec neuměl představit. Každému kdo touží po malém Dobrodružství v krásné přírodě a divokých zvířatech plně doporučuji jet do Afriky s Wiliamemem. Michal

We, 3 of us, went on an 5-days private safari in Arusha, Tanzania. On the first day, our guide, Ombeni, picked us up, directly, from our hotel. At that time, we've been super excited, but didn't know exactly what to expect. Now, we can say it was an amazing and unforgettable adventure. We saw pure wildlife, beautiful landscapes and got to know local people (Maasai). Our guide, welcomed us warmly and we felt very save and comfortable from the first time on. He was always patient with us and waited until we were ready to take our pictures before we went on the journey. We had so much fun with him, but not only this, he also explained us everything about the nationalparks, plants and animals on the side.
We had great luxury accomodations, as we've been lucky ones who got an upgrade, we always had breakfast in form of buffet, great lunch (not lunch-boxes) and delicious dinner. The Jeep was equiped with Wifi, sockets to charge the whole, Kamera, etc. on the way. Drinks were unlimited, there was water and soft drinks on board.

We booked the Safari Tour in August for January 2020, during this time Gladys, from the Gosheni backoffice, planned our andanswered all our questions. The communication Was really easy over WhatsApp and Email.

Now in January we had the Safari and it was incredible experience. Our driver Ombeni was a really experienced guide and always outperformed our expectations, he knows all the good places to see "the big five", other animals and amazing landscapes.

Gosheni also booked amazing hotels - so we can get Rest to be ready for the next Safari Day, the rooms were always unique and the food was very good.

Overall it was an amazing experience and I can only recommend it.

While we were looking for a safari company, we discovered Gosheni by accident on google maps and we contacted them. Gladys, the lady in the back Office, answered within hours our request and so we got in contact, also by WhatsApp. We decided for Gosheni and that was the best decision we could have made! Our guide Ombeni was very helpful, warm and kind. We had so much fun with him and he took care of us very well! He really knows everything about the parks, animals and also Maasai!! The safari itself was breathtaking and unforgottable! The lodges we stayed in were really nice and offered a lot of luxury!
I would definitely recommend Gosheni Safaris! All the other companys we saw at the lunch places were having a small lunchbox but we had soup, meat, vegetables and rice and wine:) Everything was very well organized and all the employees of Gosheni we met were so nice and kind.

Everything was well organized according to planned, the office crew really nailed our wishes.

Ombeni was our guide for 7 days and did a fabulous job! We found him to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions very enthusiastically. He has an Eagles eye and spotted wildlife while keeping an eye on bumpy roads. All in all an excellent trip!

What an amazing experience Gosheni provided during our three day adventure throughout the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.

The experience: Our experience would not have been possible without our expert guide William. The animals & scenery were inherently amazing, but William’s expertise on the wildlife, his friendliness, and above and beyond service made this a once in a lifetime trip.

Organizing the trip: We worked with Gladys from Gosheni to organize the trip logistics and accommodation at the Acacia Central Camp (highly recommend). Gladys made the organizational aspect of the trip the easiest holiday booking I’ve ever experienced. Everything was flawlessly taken care of from A-Z.

I can’t wait to work with William and Gladys again when I come back to Tanzania for another adventure.

I went with my friends on a three-day safari with Gosheni. This was an once in a lifetime experience. When we arrived at the airport our guide Ombeni was waiting us with breakfast and gave us our safari hats. First day we visited Lake Manyara, second day the crater Ngorogoro and the third day Tarangire National park. All the places were great but Ngorogoro was outstanding! We stayed in three different lodges and in all of them the staff was extremely welcoming. During the trip we had full lunch, including soup, main dish fruit and wine. This is something that is not typical as you could see people from other safaris were having sandwiches. Our guide Ombeni made this experience unforgettable as he was super friendly and gave us a lot of information about
the animals and the area. To summarize I would recommend Gosheni for everyone that is planning to visit Tanzania, friends, couples or families. Everything will be planned for you and you just need to stay in the car and enjoy!

We did a 3 full days safari with Gosheni Safari and it has been the best experience ever.
Jeep was new and very comfortable. They helped us to plan the best safari for us and for our time. Best of all was our guide, Ombeni, who managed to let us see all the animals in the parks we visited and provided us every possible comfort and all we might have wanted... For example providing us the best food for lunch and washing the Jeep every evening while we were resting. This guy is absolutely amazing!

I would recommend this company and this guide for every safari you want to do in Tanzania...they can really make the difference.

We went on a three-day safari with Gosheni with two more friends starting December 13th-16th 2019. We visited the following parks: Lake Manyara (day 1), Ngorongoro (day 2), Tarangire (day 3). We selected this itinerary as we wanted to have 3 full days of safari. We contacted approx. 8 companies regarding proposing an optimal schedule for us. While most other companies also recommended Serengeti, Gosheni stood out insisting that we do the aforementioned parks, as Serengeti was too far away to drive too and basically we would have wasted a day just driving. We are very glad we selected Gosheni and followed their recommended schedule as we came to realise how far the distances are. We got to enjoy an amazing safari experience in the above parks. Ngorongoro was my favourite; an incredible site to see from the viewpoint above the crater and thousands of animals to see in it. There are really no words to describe this experience, you have to see it for yourself.

Our guide, Ombeni, was the best guide we could have wished for. Having travelled around the world in Europe (I am from Greece), Asia, Americas, and having been on many guided tours, I can say that Ombeni was the best guide we ever had. He made the experience unforgettable and while I wrote before that we started out as 3 friends, we ended the journey having earned a new friend!

Now, I’m terms of amenities provided, all the lodges well stayed at were amazing. During game drives we had proper lunch and Ombeni would set the table, dishes, bottle of wine and it really felt like having lunch at a great restaurant, only our table was located in the middle of Ngorongoro!

Gosheni vehicles aren’t brand new and Ombeni made sure that the vehicle is clean (inside out) every single day, while other vehicles in the lodges’ parking lots were not taken care of as well. It is a safari, and we do not really care about what the vehicle loons like from the outside, but still I have to mention the high quality offered by Gosheni.

To summarise, I highly recommend a safari with Gosheni; they will work with you guys to organise the schedule that best fits your travel objectives and they will offer an unforgettable and amazing experience. I am very glad we picked Gosheni and very happy in having met Ombeni, a truly amazing person.
