Warranty is questionable

Purchased a unit through eBay. After 14 months of using 3 times the unit won't fully charged. Despite 18 month warranty claim Gooloo will not replace the unit unless I pay a "shipping" fee to get a new unit. I have refused to pay as I paid freight on the original purchase and should not have to pay it again.

Be warned they may work but when they don't Gooloo have no interest making good.

We understand that you purchased the product from eBay Mall and after 14 months, the device is currently in a state where it cannot be fully charged. Based on the information you left, we immediately contacted the official customer service of eBay platform. On the purchase page, the return policy states that the buyer will return or exchange the product within 30 days of receipt at the seller's expense. They are more than willing to give you a replacement product, but would like you to cover the shipping cost.

We belong to the official website and eBay for two independent platforms, so we can only try to help you co-ordinate, we recommend that you follow up the purchase needs can go to the official website, to be able to get better service has been the product after-sales protection. Item never arrived and I am unable to contact GOOLOO!

I ordered a Gooloo jump starter from their UK website direct, as they appeared to have good reviews.

That was 10 days ago!

I was given a tracking number that was not recognised and have tried to contacted them via email twice and twitter. There is no phone number.

They are not responding, the item has not arrived so I am pretty much screwed, will have to start a charge back via my credit card provider.

******UPDATE*******

Things get worse, they said in response to this review that they would send me a lower quality product and a £10 refund.

They sent neither and are, again, ignoring all my emails!

They are an absolute joke NEVER ORDER FROM GOOLOO

Gooloo packs often get good test…

Gooloo packs often get good test results so i headed for their website.. but their site is awful, it's full of upsells, pop-ups, discounts for subscribing, requests for phone numbers for doing surveys and many codes don't work so you'll get messages like: 'NEWBIE discount code isn’t available to you right now'. Gooloo, when you have a great product, you do not need the scam tactics to sell them, surely the products can stand on their own.

Terrible battery booster

Terrible battery booster. Battery in booster goes dead on its own so when you go to use it it doesn’t work. It is completely dead in 30 days or so without using it. Waste of money!

Regarding the battery drain you can check if the AC button is turned off during the period when the energy storage is not used at all. If the AC button is on but not linked to a powered product the battery power will usually run out in about 1 month. However, if the AC button is turned off, the battery power can be preserved for a long time!

I have now purchased 2 of their starter…

I have now purchased 2 of their starter packs as the first proved to be invaluable.
My sons battery failed at 1am in February and my wife's yesterday in the school carpark. My son bought one after seeing how brilliant the starter was.
I had them both up and running within a minute of arriving.

As we have 4 cars in the house I will be looking to buy more in the future and have already recommended to friends and colleagues.

A brilliant little piece of kit.

Gooloo GP2000 NEVER worked!

Straight out of the box, the Gooloo GP2000 Jump Starter Powerbank NEVER could charge fully nor could it charge any electronic device, iPad Pro being the smallest load (2.4A) tested. Reported the issues to Gooloo within the 18-month warranty period to be told not to charge devices taking less than 200mA, which comment was totally irrelevant. Never heard from Gooloo again about addressing the issues reported about their faulty product so I recently gave them a nudge to be told that this last contact was now out of the warranty window, totally disregarding my first formal complaint. Appalling non-working product and deceitful customer service. Issue now reported to the Office of Fair Trading. $149 down the drain - never again.

This feels like a scam - buyer beware

This feels like a scam. I ordered an item last week. Their website clearly states under Shipping Policy/Shipping Rates: Free shipping is available for all products on
GOOLOO Official Store. All taxes and fees are borne by GOOLOO.

Now last night I received an email stating there are $40 in shipping costs and they are willing to pay half. Of course if I don’t want to pay the other half they are happy to cancel my order.

I will probably cancel the order now as I have no desire to deal with a company that can’t even stand by its own policies. Buyer beware.

Gooloo GT4000s top notch

I bought the Gooloo GT4000s back in early 2023. Used it twice for other people’s cars, started straight away and what a fantastic compact jump pack it is. I have now just purchased a second one for my sons car. Being compact it fits away nicely and the person who used it twice is now considering buying one too. I’d definitely recommend.

AVOID GOOLOO.COM AT ALL COST

Ordered an item from them in error, realised and emailed straight away asking them to cancel my order and cancel the transaction. Given it was a Friday evening I hoped I’d hear back by Monday (the day they stated it’d be here for) Fast forward to Monday and “Gloria” emails me back, completely ignores what I’ve said - she instead recommended that I pick another item so she could cancel the one I’d ordered in error. Doesn’t make sense. I repeatedly ask for the order to just be cancelled and stop the transaction. Nope! They’ve taken the money from my account and now want me to pay £13 more to them so they can upgraded me because the product I ordered is out of stock… just avoid using this website. I’ll now be reporting them and starting the process of getting my money back.

NO WARRANTY SUPPORT

Bought a starter pack via amazon....First time I tried to use it,it wouldn't work even though it had been charged and kept in a warm place and was showing 75% charged....contacted 'Fiona' as stated on supplied instructions and after initial response both her and 'Bianca' have now gone silent so I'm left with £60 of useless equipment (it was out of Amazon's return window)...AVOID THIS COMPANY'S PRODUCTS IF YOU VALUE ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT OR GUARANTEES

Best Starter Ever

I don't ever take the time to write a review. So going out of my way to write this in of itself speaks volume. The products sold are absolutely AMAZING and WORTH the price. The value of their products FAR outway the price tag. I have had their products for about a year and have used it on occasion. So why am I writing this today? Well the cold weather finally killed my battery on my 1994 5.8L F250. Went to start it this morning and it wouldn't start. Got out the trusty Goo Loo starter, hooked it up and vroooom. First try no problems 💪. I then drove an hour into town, did my shopping at different stores, every time having to jump it when I turned it off(the auto parts store was the last place I went to lol). Drove my hour back home and will install the new battery once it stops raining. In total I jumped my truck 4 times and it still reads 98% charge on the Goo Loo. I am extremely pleased with it results and will be getting one for my soon to be fiancè, and family members as gifts. I am a happy customer 😁
