Custom messages removed
Previously I could transfer money to my kids for doing chores on a very simple, ad-hoc basis, and add a quick custom message. Now custom messages have been removed, and there are only presets, which don't have what I need. The tasks workflow, which does still allow custom messages, takes much longer, is really clunky and also doesn't do the transfer immediately.

To ensure our platform remains a safe, positive, and secure space for all customers, we’ve updated how messages are included with transfers and gift payments.
We have a wide selection of pre-set messages for popular ocassions such as birthdays, holidays and thank-yous, and a specific category for jobs and chores. With this being said, we'd be more than happy to note any pre-set messages that you'd like to see added in the future.
I have also sent you an email to the registered email address with some further information on the pre-set options that may work for you and about our Tasks feature.

As GoHenry is a subscription service, we do charge a monthly membership fee to utilise the service that does come with additional features that a high-street bank may not offer, such as: the ability for family and friends to pay directly into your child's account on special occasions such as their birthday, the ability to set up automatic allowances for your child for the amount of your choosing which pay over weekly, and financial education in the form of our 'Money Missions' to make learning about money more interactive and engaging.
