I recently bought a pair of prescription sunglasses from Global and it turned out that the pair I selected were too small for my face. I submitted for an RMA to replace the frames & lenses. I called & the rep told me that I would have to pay 50% of the lens cost. However, she recommended that I return them for a full refund & select another pair instead. Thanks for looking out for me. Saved me even more money.

Updated 8/31/13: A few weeks subsequent to the following review in June, I did eventually receive the lenses and I was able to put them into the frames that they had previously sent separately. They also sent me a full refund. Therefore, my rating is being updated from One to Two stars.

I ordered two pair of glasses at the same time. One arried within a few weeks as expected but they broke and I had to send them back. The other pair arrived after 30 days and they were fine. Unfortunately, the pair that did not break were tinted for novelty and not for every day use. I sent the broken glasses back and paid for the shipping for them to send the replacement pair back to me. After I sent the lenses back I was informed that their repair facilty was taken out by a tornado but it would be rebuilt at the same address in about two weeks and back up ready for business. This made sense because they were talking about tornados every day on the news. Yeah, right. That was a quick rebuild job. Let's just say that it has been 60 days since my original order and I still do not have my original glasses and I am out $90. There is really not much more I can do. I need to just write it off because every time I think about it or I get an email from Michael with another BS story, it just keeps eating me up inside with a lot of anger and it is making my life miserable during these times. My wife said I would regret ordering glasses online and she was right. I should have known they would be poor quality anyway even if I were to receive them.

I've bought A LOT of glasses from these guys. Generally I can find what I want and get the fit right. Prices on standard glasses are probably better than average. Prices on progressives tend to be about average, but generally a better style selection. My only "complaint" (which has nothing to do with their quality) is that as a repeat customer they email me many discount offers - but almost always on standard lenses only which (a) does me absolutely no good and (b) they should know better - I have not ordered any standard lenses in years. Even my sunglasses are now progressives.

I took a huge risk ordering my glasses online, but I was able to upload my picture and see which frames looked the best for my face. My prescription is perfect and I can see everything, which is what I had a difficult time with in my readers. I get so many compliments on my frames. I would definitely purchase from this company again.

it takes about 10 days but so what for the money you save and the quality of the product it is worth it and the customer service is on point.. have recommended this site to others..

I will definitely buy glasses here again. My prescription was filled properly and they look great. The glasses are really nice and lightweight and I can see clearly. The process was very simplistic and fast, I really enjoyed the online method of measuring the pupil distance, and I used it.

Overall, it was a great experience to only pay 132, instead of, 500 for a pair of glasses.

I ordered 2 pair of sunglasses and one regular. It took FOREVER to get them , I had to keep calling to see where they were, GOT the run around everytime I called. When i finally got them each sent separately , spaced out between 3 weeks THEY were awfull, I could have went to a dollar store and did better, The 2 sunglasses were suppose to be the same, WELL one was so dark you couldnt even see your lighted speedometer in the car. As far as prescription I dont think there was an ounce of it in any of them. I called them about all of this several times and was told you just need to get use to them. I said i wanted to return them and they wanted me to take a picture of them and send it to them...... WHATS UP WITH THAT???? I now a a case filed with pay pal against them, it has been over a week and global did not respond to pay pal. DON't BUY ANYTHING FROM GLOBAL EYEGLASSES!!!

My experience was awful. The prescription sun glasses I received had the wrong prescription and were very heavy, not the high index lens that I ordered. I returned the glasses for credit (after countless phone calls). Globaleyeglasses could not return the credit to my credit card for some reason. Instead they sent a check after many phone calls and emails. I deposited the check and Bank America has now returned the check for insufficient funds and charged me a fee for the bounced check. Therefore, I cannot recommend Globaleyeglasses and am sorry I tried them.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I ordered online, since I wasn't able to try on my glasses before ordering them, but I am very happy with what I got! It took longer to receive my order than I had anticipated, but I certainly don't want to complain - I got two pair of glasses for $26 (including shipping) and they look great on me! I want to order more just so I can swap back and forth. (And so I have some backups if my toddler decides to play with them again...) I'm telling my friends to order here!

Even though it took a while to receive my glasses, normal wait time, it was worth the wait. I guess I could have gone to my local eyewear store but would have paid a lot more. I would recommend Global Eyeglasses to anyone.

I am very happy with my new eyeglasses. They were delivered very quickly. I liked the ability to determine the dimensions. This information is not available at local stores.

Great Selection! Glasses came in a few weeks. I felt glasses didn't look right and they had no problems accepting a return. Would definitely do business again.

I received my eyeglasses 3 weeks ago. Since I received it, I wrote 3 times to learn how do I do to return it and have a reimbursement. I bough a computer lenses. I can't read anything with these eyeglasses.

I already use the computer glasses and It is better than yours.

I always wait for a response.

I would recommend this company to anyone seeking glasses at a reasonable cost. It took about two weeks for delivery but was worth the wait.

I have ordered glasses online before, and haven't always been thrilled with the results. In fact, this is the first time I am! For the money, these glasses are just about perfect. They fit great, the prescription is spot on perfect too.
