Thanks Global Bikes - great service again. My bike is a workhorse, grinding through the winter lanes no matter the weather. Today I popped in on my way home to get my bottom bracket tightened. However, the bearing was shot. I needed a new bearing and this was fitted as I waited - after hours. Thanks for keeping the workshop open and sorting my bike with no notice. I'll be back for a service later. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the guys at Global Bike for all their help. I purchased a bike for my son for Christmas, not only did they help me work out what was the best size to get, they gave me a great price, kept it safe at their store till Christmas and delivered it fully built on the 23rd!! You'd think that was then end but no, included in the price is a free first service!! Brilliant service from start to finish I would highly recommend Global Bike.

Just received my new bike (Ghost Nivolet LC 5) from Global Bike and I am very pleased with it. The service and very helpful info that Rich and James gave helped me with my decision on picking this great bike.
The bike arrived perfectly packaged and bang on time. I would definitely recommend them and I will be back.

I initially approached Global Bike as I wanted to purchase a la pierre sensium road bike via my companies halfords cycle scheme. Initially the staff were very friendly and happy to help, they said to me that the halfords purchasing process can take some time and advised me that it would be much quicker to put the bike on my credit card, I could then send in the voucher and they would refund the amount in a couple of weeks maximum. The bike arrived a couple of days later which was great, and I love the bike. However, it's now been over 5 weeks since purchase and I have still not got a refund, and nobody is replying to my emails. £1000 is a lot of money, and anyone who has a credit card knows that if you fail to pay it back in full it affects your credit rating, which is very frustrating. In hindsight it seems the company just wanted to get the money n the short term and now have zero interest in progressing my refund.

Nearly 2 weeks ago I was looking at buying a decent cyclocross bike. It’s the first time I’ve ever put serious money into a bike so it was important that I had the perfect bike. I spoke to one of the staff members online and he helped me out with the sizing and gave me a few more details about the bike.
I’d just like to give a big thanks to that guy I spoke to as he was spot on for the sizing as I was originally going to buy a size larger. I ordered the bike on the Wednesday but really wanted it for the weekend and it was really nice to see their staff really go that extra bit by bringing my order forward and getting it to me by Friday.

I would definitely recommend you to all my friends and relatives, their customer service was fantastic and it’s nice to see people go that extra mile. It made my weekend being able to test out the bike, which I might add, is absolutely fantastic (Raleigh RX Comp).

Went in looking for a road bike and didn't really know where to start. The guys at the Crewe store we so helpful. Made sure I was looking at the right type of bikes for my needs and also sized me up on different bikes and gave me plenty of choice to look through.

Went for a Raleigh Revenio and it's fantastic, I absolutely love it. Managed to get the bike and kitted out all within my cyclescheme.

Went into the Crewe shop for advice on road shoes.Was advised to try the sp pedals and clip system.I took my bike in had the pedals fitted then tried the bike out on the turbo apparatus with the new road shoes.Andy and Richie gave me helpful advice and setup the pedals whilst trying to master the ops of clipping in and out.I was very pleased with my buys and would certainly reccommend the bike shop to anyone.Thanks again guys one happy customer.

I ordered a new bike for my wife's birthday on the Monday after using the online chat feature for advice and also to confirm delivery times.

As it was her birthday that weekend, we wanted the bike for the weekend in the new forest.

Richard delivered the bike personally 8:30pm Friday night in the pouring rain to ensure our weekend went ahead as planned!

I ordered a pair of bib shorts from Global Bike which were "in stock" at the time of purchase. After a few weeks and then at week intervals following this, I contacted GB where someone repeatedly assured me as soon as item was in stock it would be delivered to me. The date of delivery kept getting pushed out every time I called. Eventually they agreed to refund the item (which I had to chase 3 or 4 times by phone and email) and they promised to send out the shorts as a sign of goodwill once received in stock, but they never arrived. Will not be using GB again.

I recently stopped at the Global Bike shop on 5/30/2015 with my UK bike buddy (I'm American) as we're riding Land's End to John O' Groats, touring self supported. I had a problem with the rear derailler skipping gears and found the bike shop on Google Maps. We rode up to the shop and Jim, the owner came out. Now this was on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. I explained the problems I was having to Jim and he took the bike into the shop to check it out. It turned out that the bike rear derailler hanger was bent so he straightened that and when then trying to reinstall the rear derailler, he found that the mounting hole was stripping out causing the derailler to move during shifting, thus creating a skipping condition. Re-tapping the hole was not the answer because it would enlargen the hole size and not allow the derailler to fasten.

Jim got on the phone and called someone from the engineering firm that is located near his shop and the guy came over to take a look at the issue. They recommended a fix of a small bushing that fits into the frame mounting hole then allows for the derailler to mount through the bushing. When Jim called a rider who did work on steel bikes to inquire about him having a bushing, the guy didn't have any but told Jim of a company 30 miles away that had the parts...only problem...they weren't open on Sat and opened on Monday. Jim advised that we stay the weekend in Chester and on Monday he'd be able to get the part to repair the bike. When we said we didn't have any accomodations reserved anywhere, he immediately got on the phone and started making calls of B&B's and local hotels to find us a place to stay. He found the Chester Cheshire Cat Inn and we booked 2 rooms there for Sat and Sunday. Jim then took us and our bags into Chester to the Inn. I have never had anyone do so much for me anywhere in the world to help me out. I was absolutely impressed with how this man who I met an hour before went to such an extent to help us out.

Sunday morning a call from Jim that he'd be at the company to get the parts on Monday morning then back to his shop to start repairing the bike. He called me at 10 on Monday morning and said he had the parts and was on his way back to the shop and would have someone drive to get us at the Inn to bring us out to the shop (and it was 5 miles away!). When we got to the shop, Jim spent time with the engineer grinding down the part so it would have adequate clearance with the chain. We were then able to leave on our tour again at noon.

I cannot thank you enough Jim. All that you did for us and especially me when my bike needed expert and immediate help, was just overwhelming. I am so grateful and the bike rides like new with precise shifting! If you ever come to Colorado you have a place to stay with you and your family at my home, anytime.

I stumbled on Global bike a late friday night. A chat window was available and I thought "sure, auto answer...".
I was wrong. I came in contact with Rich and he spent an hour answering all kinds of questions and giving good advice.

A few days later I ordered a Ghost bike which was to be delivered to Sweden. I also needed the bike gears and brakes to be mounted "non-UK-style".which Globalbike did for free.
Due to the expensive transporting Globalbike set me up with a pair of XT-pedals. I have received the bike and I am about to receive the other package which will also include a complementary mech hanger.

Bought a bike on line & cancelled the order before it came as I found a better deal elsewhere. After numerous phone calls & emails about getting a refund my money wasn't refunded. Finally had to get Barclays involved.

Extremely happy, brilliant bike. This was a present and was ordered over Christmas, unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances there was a slight delay on the expected delivery date. When I rang to check on my bike and explained that it was a gift, the owner personally delivered my bike to my house on the expected date. I would definitely recommend global bike to anyone, in fact I already have. Also my bike was £70 cheaper than a well known competitor. Brilliant service all round - you don't often get that these days.

Placed my order for a bike late Saturday night, by Monday they had all ready contacted Nukeproof and a bike was on its way to them to be built and checked. I dealt with a guy called Jim via email his service was excellent, honest and his replies were very quick. The bike was delivered early Friday morning all I had to do was put on pedals and sort the handlebars and was ready to go. The bike was so well packed it took longer to unpack than to get it ready to ride. They should be better advertised, it was only through blind drunken luck that I stumbled across their website.
