Omar, our representative was very attentive and polite. He guided us through the ordering process of a shower door and kept us informed through the manufacturing process up to shipment. Once the door shipped, he provided the tracking number along with instructions when the door arrived. Great experience for us. Thank you.

I am so frustrated and disappointed, that a large national company that tries to have a good reputation refuses to rectify a mistake they made and not one that I made, regardless of time. And it seems so easy to fix. My experience has been beyond bad and now add insult to injury. I started over a year ago trying to buy a glass barn door. According to customer service department, the first one was broken at the warehouse, the second was broken during shipping and the third was lost…. this Ebay delivery took almost an additional 2 months, with no notification except my inquiries to find out details. When it arrived, I only received the door frame/hardware… no door. The package was ripped open and destroyed, so much that we took pictures and noted damages on the shipper’s freight receipt that we reported to the company and that we have documented proof. No reply, except the promise of a credit that was never issued. The door was finally received separately, but was not opened until this past week, because this was for a NEW construction project that was delayed. The installers pointed out that the hardware received in the destroyed box was incorrect for the door. The bracket/wheel hardware was for a 2-hole glass door and the after many calls to the company, I was informed that the hardware I needed was for a 1-hole glass. I asked to replace what was sent with the proper hardware, I was told I would have to PURCHASE new hardware, because I missed the deadline. I had no way of knowing what was missing or damaged and I reported that damage upon receipt. BUT, regardless of the time, I have in my possession the WRONG brackets that were sent and any legitimate, company with integrity and concern for customer service especially considering ALL that I have been through would kindly replace the wrong hardware with the correct hardware so that I can hang the door! Ebay says they will help but no one has had any interest…except sending a second letter telling me to BUY it again. I don’t even want the incorrect brackets they can have them back they are no use to me…so why won’t someone help me…I have a door that I can’t hang because of the manufacturer’s mistake and all I need is to swap for the correct hardware! My shower door, etched with a vine design, is beautiful, a one-of-a-kind. I love being unique! The door is heavy glass, not flimsy and light. The design is beautiful. It cleans well with vinegar or Windex. I will never have to worry about heavy limestone buildup, like with most glass shower doors. The staff at Otto & Sohn were wonderful to work with -- Mabell in Customer Service, Maria in Accounting, and Omar in Production. My one recommendation is to be sure and consult with Omar about door dimensions. He is a wealth of information and knowledge!

Customer service was horrible. Told us to expect doors in a month and didn't deliver until after 3 months. The doors were on the thinner side. There are thicker options, from other vendors and I would recommend going with the thicker option. After it's installed (professionally) in our newly built adu the glass were shattered after first use injuring our family. Even if this is tempered glass, imagine that you have to step on shattered shards of temper glass while in shower. This is the first time I have ever seen a glass door shattered and it was a traumatic experience. I tried to contact customer service, but of course they said that it's not their fault. Also, they never replied to my response to their first email, essentially ignoring all my other communications and choose not to engage. I cannot vouch for the quality of these doors. You will take the chance with the company's product and delivery service, don't expect any help, refund or compassion from the company. We took the chance on them and totally regretted it. Mediocre product, unreliable delivery time and bad customer service. That is my experience with this company.

This Company has THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE QUALITY PRODUCT! Omar, Glenys, Jennifer and all the other people that work for this company DO NOT CARE! They sent the wrong hardware 3 different times and really didn't care about me or my clients or my order at all! Finally after 4 months of going back and forth we received the right rail system and were able to complete the project. Also, I ordered the sliding doors WITHOUT hardware/handles and they sent WITH handles already cut into them. We were so fed up with them we didn't ask for replacements because of the many months that had already gone by. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! REALLY RUDE and terrible service by the above mentioned people. Did I mention TERRIBLE SERVICE!! and TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!

Terrible experience! Glass door edge was chipped and on a set of double doors, they were different sizes. No help and simply did not return any phone calls!

I ordered a glass door in the Spring and received it in unbroken condition in a timely manner. The appearance and quality of the glass was great. Unfortunately my contractor was very off on his estimate and the door wasn't installed until Dec. 2023. The quality of the hanging hardware is almost as good HOWEVER we found that two of four necessary bolts for hanging the door were the wrong size (14mm instead of 13mm) -- no one noticed this on visual inspection as the eye cannot readily discern between 13 and 14.

I contacted Otto & Sons because the door could not be installed without these custom bolts. And, as requested I followed up with an email and photos. They NEVER responded despite assuring me that they would get back to me in a day.

The other thing I'd say about glass-door.us is that their 3-day period during which one can inspect the door for defects is way, way too short. I cannot recommend this company because of this limitation. No one is likely to install a delivered glass door that quickly!

We were lucky … but you may not be as lucky.

It was a horrible experience. I bought a double-door barn door, which arrived late after I followed up multiple times with customer service to check the delivery status. Once the door arrived, the hardware was missing, so my installer could not install the door. I still had to pay the installer for the whole day, given that it was not the installer's fault. After calling multiple times and speaking with multiple people, the hardware order was processed. Finally, we received everything to find out that two of the four-door strips were misaligned and were not together when the two doors connected. I called customer service, explained my situation, and shared all the pictures. After multiple communications, customer service told me it was an installation problem and there was nothing they could do. When I tried to explain to them that it was an installation problem when two were already there and two were not, After multiple conversations and sharing additional pictures, the customer service agreed that it was not an installation but something wrong with the door, but they told me they could not do anything because I did not call within 3 days of door delivery. I tried to explain to them that, given that the hardware was not delivered, I cannot install it and will inform you within 3 days. The customer service person said she could not do anything as her supervisor had advised them to say that. When requested to transfer to the supervisor, they kept on telling me that they were busy and that someone would call me. Never received any callback A very bad service, and I was stuck with the door and spent up to double the money for the installation. Total scam company, if possible stay away from them.

Paid 1500 dollars for a double sided mirror and pocket door with frame and hardware, waited around 3 months and this is what arrived. Just a pocket door with a shattered mirror: no hardware, no frame

Customer services was the best. Mabell ensured my order was complete and delivered as timely as could be expected for a custom order. My first door arrived shattered and Otto & Sohn worked with the delivery company to ship a new door within in a few weeks. From my original order to delivery of the second door was about 9 weeks. One note, I ordered the door with the handle hardware but it didn't allow me to slide the door all the way open or closed so I bought two flat shower door grips from Amazon and they worked perfectly...thank goodness. Thanks Mabell!

Working with Omar at Otto & Sohn USA was an excellent experience. We ordered two oversized doors for our closets. Omar kept us informed of the status and tracking of the doors.

The doors arrived in mostly excellent condition -- the shipper had damaged the packaging and one door had a slight small dent. Omar asked if we wanted to return the door or take a discount which we took. The door are sturdy and we receive lots of compliments.

We bought two sets of sliding doors for some closets in our Santa Fe home. Although there were some hiccups along the way, including some serious shipping damage, Mabell and the team at Glass-Doors were very supportive and took care of the issues as efficiently as possible. It was worth it,. The doors are high quality and look great. Even our contractor was impressed by the construction and quality.

Excellent experience with this company and Omar in particular. Everyone who sees our bathroom doors are blown away with their beauty and elegance! The quality of the materials is superior, and the help Omar gave us throughout the process was beyond call of duty. We are in the process of ordering other Glass products from them as well. The door we received was beautiful and ver heavy duty, but unfortunately one of the mirrors was cracked. We didn't open it within the 72 hour window so they didn't take it as a return, but they offered $120 to get the mirror fixed so I thought that was fair. After this coorespondance on the credit, I had the door installed. There was no floor guide in the hardware kit that was sent with the door. I reached back out to let them know we were not provided everything that was supposed to come in the kit, they said they would send me the floor guide and apologized for missing part.
