Charge after move out

My lease had get covered as the default rental insurance if I didn't go and sign up for my own. I moved out and they continued to charge my card because I had automatic payment set up. It's ridiculous that they are in sync with the leasing company yet do not automatically cancel the policy when someone moves out.

I'm renting at the Property Runaway Bay…

I'm renting at the Property Runaway Bay in Columbus and they hired GetCovered for renters insurance. I was first told all my certificates are uploaded and that I'm good to go as I have my own renters insurance. Hell no!!! I was getting charged and get charged and when I tried to submit my certificates and I was told that they no longer handled commcercial leases. And yet I was charged again. It is really a nightmare to deal with GetCovered. They are not doing their job.

Unwilling to let valid policies roll over to a new lease

It is their policy to ask for you to upload the same policy twice a year. They will completely disregard your already verified policy on file as soon as your new lease is enacted. They don't care that your policy is still valid, they will still allow your apartment complex fraudulently charge you if you don't upload the same policy they already verified. They think the lease gets to determine when your policy is valid or not, not the actual policy effective dates. This only makes things more of a hassle at the expense of the resident and the fact they will not allow already verified policies roll over so apartments can fraudulently charge you for a policy they already knew you were covered on is ridiculous

0 star for this company

if I could give 0 star, that's their score. Worst of the worst insurance company I've ever deal with.

Simple request like, give me a copy of policy document for my renter insurance, they can't give it to me. I don't know what scheme they are doing. Connect with customer service many times by me and by my leasing office manager. I've never get the document from them.

Try to switch to another, they reject it !!.
What reason in the world they can reject? I never get any explanation at all!
I like my apartment but I hate this mandatory renter insurance company that come with it.

Don't try to ask me to contact customer service again. it's waste of my time

You sent me an email on 12/13 that said…

You sent me an email on 12/13 that said my policy was going to expire. I bought a policy. Then you rolled over my last policy without my consent and wasted $58 of my money and you have yet to refund it.

Good Listener

The agent listened to my issues and because of that was able to help toward a resolution. She was able to see that the error was on their part, and not mine. Most importantly she transparently stated the issue was on their end.

Be Aware!!!’

They advised us they no longer provide renters insurance however they charged me twice. Had to really dig in tho finally get new renters insurance .

Rude customer service horrible service experience

Uploaded a policy and they somehow still got the addresses wrong despite the information being clearly listed in the documents. Called into their customer service and the agent was extremely condescending, rude and unhelpful! How the business makes a mistake and then the agents acts in such a manner is beyond comprehension.

Customer service got right to the point…

Customer service got right to the point in assisting me with helping me on my insurance so it would not be canceled. Listen to me explaining about my problem with fraud on my old card and how to edit walked me through the steps. thank you.

The worst

The worst , absolutely unreliable, most unfriendly and anti customer service insurance company i have ever dealt with. Not one call back , not one answered email, no remorse or compassion and absolutely a waist of money.
