There was a delay between my keyboard/mouse actions and the results on the virtual PC causing the length of time it took to complete the certification projects longer.

The helper assigned to me was very nice and allowed me to learn Certiport’s testing setup without any anxiety.

The process was smooth, and everyone was so friendly! Good variety of times, though I do wish they had some for early evening (Pacific Time).

The proctor was extremely helpful & lessened my testing anxiety. Thanks!

I put a lot of effort into my post on linkedin about this, so I will copy and paste that into here. Please ignore any hastags or the like.

This was my worst testing & exam experience so far, and I would personally not recommend using Getcertified, or going after this particular cert if it is not required AT THIS POINT IN TIME; Further, I would like to provide constructive feedback, rather than just bashing a company when they can improve and give others a better #experience than I got.

Good Things:

- The immediacy of scheduling a test was great; you could schedule at any point in time. Additionally, you could come back to a the scheduling workflow if something came up in the middle and you needed to save.

- There isn't a lack of study materials for this particular exam; As you can find plenty out there. I'll put the main one I used down here that helped me for anyone who is #curious.

Bad Things:

- The exam experience itself: will caveat that every certification exam is in and of themselves an ad. However, I felt less sold to for my Amazon Web Services (AWS) exams than I did for my Microsoft exam. Every question on this exam is very clearly & does so in an interupptive manner an ad for Microsoft.

- Proctors are observing 20+ people at a time. Hence, you will not get your questions answered if you have any, or direct attention on your exam. Further, there is no audio for either side. While this can be due to lack of resources, it limits the quality of interaction between test takers and the test centers; Meaning that reviews like this happen, where someone doesn't recommend using the product or service you provide.

In Summation:

While I am overjoyed that I got the opportunity to obtain this certification, I just want to be as #authentic with people as I can regarding things I #recommend or don't recommend.

It was great experience taking the IC3 exam. The Proctor was very helpful.

Excellent service, didn't have to deal with the ludicrous restrictions Pearson makes you go through (seriously I nearly lost a cert with Pearson because I stood up out of frame of the camera for 30 seconds), Elsi was friendly and helpful as a proctor.

The platform was easy to understand and easy to use; however, if there is a way to avoid the Zoom link going to test users' spam folders, that would help tremendously. It went into mine, and due to my two-minute tardiness, my proctor had stepped away from her computer and had me waiting for her for a few minuets as well, delaying my test by at least 10 minutes. It could have been avoided if the Zoom link didn't go to my spam folder.

Edit to add: Whether the proctor "stepped away from their computer" or not, I still had to wait and almost even disconnected from the Zoom. And whether I still had the same 50 minutes or not, I can't be the only test taker who wants to start their test on time. I did read the e-mail that told me to check my spam folder, which was my saving grace. It's unfortunate that there's no way to avoid it, but it is good to give a heads up to test takers with a bigger timeframe ahead of time so they're not scrounging at the last minute, wondering what's happened.

The rest of the test experience was easy to maneuver, and I was very pleased with it.
