Extremely Disappointing Experience

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. I ordered a dining table in December and was explicitly told it would arrive within 9 days. Based on that promise, I planned accordingly and even disposed of my existing dining table.

After the order was placed, they suddenly changed the delivery timeline to early January. Annoying, but still manageable. Then, without any meaningful apology or accountability, they came back yet again and said the table would not arrive until the end of March.

This level of incompetence and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Changing delivery dates multiple times by months shows a complete disregard for customers’ time, planning, and trust. Their customer service was equally disappointing—no urgency, no solution, and no ownership of the problem they created.

I was left without a dining table for months because I relied on their promises. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere unless you’re prepared for delays, broken commitments, and poor customer service.

For clarity, the order was placed in early December for an item that was listed at the time with an estimated delivery in 2026, with delivery times stated as approximate rather than guaranteed on this particular item. You contacted us for delivery updates within days of the order, even though the item was advertised with a long delivery timeframe rather than as a fast-delivery product. Shortly after the Christmas period, we confirmed that delivery was expected around March, after which the order was cancelled at your request.

We appreciate that you would have liked a faster delivery than advertised to align with your personal plans and we’re sorry this item wasn’t available sooner. We responded promptly to all correspondence and we always aim to communicate clearly and transparently, and we regret that in this case expectations were not aligned.

Dont buy as you wont get your money back if faulty!!!

Shocking Service! Ordered a Mango Wood Dining Room Table which took 2 weeks to arrive when they advised it would take between 7-10 days. The marble table top arrived cracked and the delivery person refused to open inside our house, i reported the damage straight away and was told rudely i damaged it and refused to replace or refund my money back which was £453.33!! I would avoid at all costs and can see on here we arent the only people they done this to!!

However, as you know, video footage from your own Ring doorbell showed that you were not telling the truth and that the marble was not cracked when it was delivered to you. You claimed that the delivery driver brought the table in alone, and damaged it while lifting it into your property. However, the Ring doorbell footage shows it was actually your partner who pulled the marble top into the property and also shows that the marble was not broken at that time anyway. It is not true that the delivery driver refused to open the box for you to check; your partner was asked to check the marble on delivery, but refused, all of which is evidenced. The situation is that marble is fragile, and if you are not careful when unpacking it, then unfortunately it can be damaged, which is what has happened here. You then raised a credit card dispute to attempt to get your money back, but, as you know, your credit card company found in our favour and rejected your dispute. It is not possible to “feed the bank a pack of lies” as you claim; the bank independently considers actual evidence only and we provided them with the Ring doorbell footage and your emails. It is also untrue that we have ever emailed you "saying they will make sure I will not get my money back".

Your suggestion that this happens a lot is untrue. Our service is independently recognised as the highest quality; we have the 2025 Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award, a 10 year history of (independently assessed) excellence of service, and many thousands of positive reviews, which can be found on Feefo. (Feefo only allows reviews by genuine customers, which is why we prefer it to Trustpilot.)

We are so sorry that you damaged the marble and appreciate this is an expensive accident to have had, but it is unfair to try to get your money back from the retailer in this situation.

Round marble table - beautiful & great service

Ordered a round marble table - excellent quality and price. Took about a week longer to arrive than advertised, however staff were very responsive and apologetic via email. Great customer service - was called the day before to confirm I would be in for delivery slot, table arrived within the time slot and delivery driver helped unwrap table in situ and confirmed I was happy and no damage before leaving. I really appreciated this as with such a big item I had to home for delivery and returns would have been a nightmare if there was any damage. I had not ordered form Furnish before but would again.

My new purchase

I ordered a lamp shade and it is absolutely beautiful, so well made, fabulous and very good price too and it looks far more expensive than it actually was! Simon was really helpful and responded to me really quickly when I contacted The company. I'm so impressed and will be searching their other items for future. A very positive experience thank you

It’s a beautiful bit of furniture for a very reasonable price. Easy to put together, feels very sturdy and looks great.
We’re very pleased with it. We were led by the reviews, which were well deserved!
Also great communication from Simon at Furnish and quick delivery.

Beautiful piece of furniture and fast delivery

The chest of drawers I bought is like a piece of art! It's made of really good quality solid wood and delivered in perfect condition. Delivery was fast, too, within the given time frame. There's nothing to complain about, really. I didn't deal with anyone at the company, but their delivery service was top-notch.

Abysmal service

Abysmal service! Ordered 2 pieces of furniture supplied by Andrew Piggott approx 6 weeks delivery.I had to chase this up every step of the way and was given misinformation each time.I gave my moving date which I repeated several times and I needed it delivered by then.I was then told the furniture had arrived in London and would be picked up on the Thursday to then go to Scotland.Again I had to reach out to get reassurance that it would arrive on time to be told that could not be guaranteed and they suggested the order was cancelled.Fortunately I was able to source the furniture elsewhere(cheaper) and it was delivered within 3 days also coming from London.The only positive bit is the refund was quicker than the furniture,8 weeks at this point!

Dear Gillian, we are so sorry you did not have a good experience. Your order would almost certainly have been delivered to you on time had you not cancelled. It was very wrong of another retailer to guarantee you delivery to Scotland from London within a few days, because there is always a possibility that long-distance furniture deliveries are delayed, e.g. traffic, weather, illness. We were simply being honest by advising that the delivery date should be fine but can never be absolutely guaranteed. You were lucky that your order with the other retailer did arrive in time.

Regarding price, we price match (or beat), so it would have been better to not have switched.

I am sorry you feel you were not kept informed, but I can see that you were contacted at every stage throughout. You were firstly contacted after order to advise delivery would be slightly longer than 6 weeks due to the Easter Holidays in Europe (the items are made in Italy) and you would be contacted again on dispatch. You then contacted us at 6 weeks to advise you were now moving house and needed delivery beforehand. We offered to deliver to the new property instead to save you from having to move the items yourself, but you declined. You were advised at that time that the stock would be arriving the next week and you would then be contacted with dispatch details. You were then contacted once again as promised (about a week ago) to advise your furniture had arrived in London and would be dispatched to Scotland on the Thursday. I can see that immediately after you had been contacted with the dispatch details, you then phoned us 6 times in a day (where we spoke with you on 3 of these occasions) to repeatedly ask us to guarantee delivery by the Monday after its Thursday dispatch. We advised that this should be fine, but it would be wrong to absolutely guarantee this. We offered again to deliver to your new address, but you declined again. It was then agreed it was best to cancel.

Please accept our apologies again for any issues, but I hope the above helps explain the situation.

Excellent service

I am delighted with my purchase which was £300 cheaper than I could buy locally. The free delivery service was excellent even though I had to rearrange it. Everyone I dealt with was both professional and courteous. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

Amazing company

Amazing company. Competitive price and from ordering up to very speedy delivery the service was fantastic. Lovely customer service lady sue was so polite and helpful. The delivery was first class and the large chest of drawers was packaged so well there wasn’t a mark. I am so impressed by Furnish I am looking forward to making my next purchase.
