I canceled my unbreakable Wi-Fi…
I canceled my unbreakable Wi-Fi service, returned the equipment within a few days, and they are still billing me. Now they tell me that I need to contact them again after I get billed inappropriately and talk to them about canceling it. I have receipts from UPS, a message from frontier, and now a bill that continues to bill me for the canceled service. Talking to their chat service it tells me that I must contact them again after I am billed inappropriately. why can’t they just get it right?
You rarely get what you are paying for
You rarely get what you are paying for. Lot's of downtime, an average of 8+ hour and 40+ calls to customer service with just jerks that don't know what they are doing. I HATE frontier.........they want your money, but do not want to provide the services you are paying for.........one thing they do well - consistently increase your prices - even if you are on a contract. HATE
WASTE OF TIME AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I literally called them just to see if the new address I am moving to will have their fiber service available and it took them 18 minutes to tell me. They have two websites, frontier.com and frontierinternetservice.com. One website was telling me internet was available and the other wasn't. So I called them to find out and I went through 3 different ppl just for them to tell me it was not available. First person kept asking me unnecessary questions and when she transferred me, the new lady on the phone spoke only Spanish... Like what??? Then she transferred me to this monotone ass robot sounding guy and he took like 5 minutes just to tell me that the internet is not provided in my area. WASTE OF TIME AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Unable to reach out to a support agent after a long wait.
Internet was out for 3 days in…
Internet was out for 3 days in December, 2 hrs with tech support and they were going to send a modem. Internet came back on and modem never came. January out again for a day 2 hrs with tech support, said a modem was coming. It came a week later. A week later it went out again for 3 days. I changed to Spectrum. Every time I called they tried to upsell me on faster internet +$25/mo for backup service, that's $300/yr to pay them for their bad service.
When I called to cancel it took an hour, then they said there is a $50 cancellation fee I had to pay.

1 Star – Extremely Frustrating Experience
My internet has been completely out for 5 days now. I have contacted Frontier every single day, and the only response I get is that they are “working on it.” No real updates, no timeline, no solution.
For a company that provides essential services, this level of communication and reliability is unacceptable. I work from home and this has caused real disruption. At this point, it feels like customers are just being ignored.
Very disappointed with Frontier’s service and support.
Horrific customer service
We are forced to use them because there is no other company in our area. Horrible customer service. Short hours of customer help. You stay on the phone for 10 min answering their questions to get help only to be told the customer service dept is closed.
I am rating the Frontier Customer service ONLY
I am rating the Frontier Communications customer service department 4 stars. I have been using their service for a few years now, and aside from the outrageous late fees, it has been suitable for my college courses, shopping, and gaming needs. However, today I was able to speak to an angel. Christian from their bill services department was not only helpful, but he was also kind. It is refreshing to know that he recognized my needs and did everything to figure out what was going on with the bill and my service in general. I am disabled and on an incredibly low budget, and he did all he could to, 1. help me understand what was going on with my bill, and 2. Fix it in the best way he could. He deserves to either have a day or two off, paid of course, or to get a raise and special recognition :) And that is what STIFFLERsays...
To charge someone after canceling…
To charge someone after canceling service is a crime. It does not matter WHEN they cancel. They should not be penalized for choosing another service provider. Who pays for things that they don't receive? I cannot recommend Frontier internet to anyone. They lock you in a contract after the promotion is over and then practically force you to pay for a month in advance despite stating that you no longer need their service. Buyer beware!
Frequent Lost Connection …
Frontier Internet is the most unreliable internet provider! Frequently goes down and needs rebooting the pathetic ONT idiot box! I have decided I’ve had enough of this pathetic company and looking to another provider.
Ageism, racism, and scams.
What the marketing tells you is a lie about Frontier, everything buffers, doesn't matter the day or time. Bonus the buffering gets worse in the evening. They offer different pricing depending on who you are. They stop landline telephone service but still charge you and I crease the bill. The company labeled vehicles park wherever, speed,don't follow speed limits, or even one way signage, and of course not even the police can do anything (fake plates). They don't like it if you have your own routers. They use foreign IP addresses, which slows or stops service since it's a foreign IP address. So far I've been in Nova Scotia, Toronto, and Birmingham England. Only got that information from streaming services and other contacts when my service stops, and yes frontier hangs up or claims I'm living in those other locations. They are also very ageism, sell older people and charge them for fake services and equipment, then when one fake piece of equipment fails the whole service stops and they hate having a younger person start asking questions about the fake services and fake equipment and hang up.

Needs to be sued. Tried to cancel. They keep hanging up on me so I can't cancel, but still keep debiting my card. Absolutely horrible. can not cancel online or on app. Was hung up on every time i called. Still can't cancel. rude people. fake people. no choice but to talk to their rude service people. Put an option to cancel on your website. You are a horrible company. PLEASE DO NOT USE FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS. (ps: never wrote a bad review before, but i am floored that this place is stealing from customers by it taking them a month to cancel while they continue to debit your card...unbelievable) - class action lawsuit anyone?

I ordered fiber service and they never showed up for 3 appointments. Every time I called they gave me a different excuse.

I can't say what a rip-off Frontier is…
I can't say what a rip-off Frontier is to their customers. I was paying $163.42/month for phone and DSL internet. Service was constantly interrupted. So I decided to switch to Starlink and say goodbye to Frontier. Try to find the correct phone number on their website? Good luck! Finally found it after 10 minutes of searching. When I told them I wanted to cancel, they were going to reduce my bill to $24.99, which is over five times less than what I have been paying for how many years. They sent me the code to turn in my modem and power cords at the UPS Store (if I don't do it within 30 days, there is a $500 charge). Now they require a $50 restocking fee for an outdated modem that will end up in the trash! Then they tacked on another $8.19 for some other unknown charges. Final bill to disconnect: $221.61!!!!!!
If Frontier tries to con you into their service, don't think twice, just hang up the phone!

If I could give a 0 I would have. Horrible customer service with long wait times and customer service reps who just aren’t helpful. I discontinued my relationship with them back in November and payed a final bill 12/1. I get a threat letter for collection of a payment posted 12/7 for a “restocking of equipment” fee which was never disclosed. It took 1 hour and 8 minutes and 2 agents to make the final payment and rather than connect me to the line for customer feedback, agent Alex disconnected the line. This company is such a rip off. They are thieves (my relationship with them started with overcharges which they had to credit back once they were caught so ripping people off seems to be part of their business practice).

Thought I was getting cheaper internet
Thought I was getting cheaper internet. Door to door sales don't understand what their tech dept does nor do they care. I have had three different techs come to my residence. Two said there was no way they can hook up internet while the third wanted to come and rip up the grounds of my apt complex. I eventually canceled the install and have canceled my relationship with Frontier. Incompetent service is apparently Frontiers mission statement. Stay away!
Frontier Cable The Worst Customer Service
Terrible customer service… I took the free test offer of an unbreakable internet box. They sent it to me. I never opened it up, changed my mind, and sent it back the next day. I had UPS tracking records and everything. Needless to say, I started getting bilked . I called them, and they said I would get a credit. No credit came. I called again, and they apologized, gave me two credits. In the meantime, they screwed up my account. I have three whole house internet boxes. They had me taking out one box when I never was taking out one box. They said they corrected it, but they never corrected it now. I get another bill charging me to take out the one box. I called them up, and the account is still messed up. They have terrible customer service now. I have to call again to try to straighten this thing out. meanwhile I have a $500 unreturned equipment charge on my account when there is no equipment to return..
