I was approached by these cowboys back in 2022, for a no win no fee case. They won nothing, I cooperated fully with them, then got billed for over £200 and now have a balliff company wanting £378. After I told this sham of a company that their terms and conditions failed on many clauses, they changed the name of the company and all the Ts and Cs. How many more 1 star reviews can they get?
Avoid this company it's a disgrace.

Avoid at all cost!!!.
First they get your signature from an online form and affix it to a letter of authority which you would not have a chance to read and agree to first before signing.

They would assure you it is a "No win no fees arrangement"

They always avoid written correspondence so you do not have any evidence to hold against them.

They all have same registered office address and Directors. Check on Company's house website

They will confuse you as to who you are dealing with.

They have no intention of providing any meaningful help. The moment you decide you have had enough and ask to cancel, they hide behind the agreement and insist you owe cancellation fees. In the end you are asked to pay even more than the amount they claimed they would recover for you, despite never delivering any service of real value

If you refuse to pay, they would assign your debt to a collection agent and your interest keeps growing.

If you have had any dealings with them, here are the steps i advice you to take.

Report them to

1. the Information Commissioner’s Office

2. Report them to HMRC through the online form

3. Report them to Trading Standards

4. Report them to Citizen's advice

5. Report to the Police.

This company is a scam!
Request an SAR. All calls and emails from them, they will fail to produce, start legal proceedings for gdpr breach.
Approach hmrc and they will confirm they have never heard of frederick edwards requesting anything on your account! So the service is non existent they are trying to fraudulently charge you for.
Do not take the bullying tactics they are a joke of a firm and we will be taking them to court.

Would not even give this one star! My partner was contacted after filling out an enquiry form on social media. After a call from them and saying they did not want to go ahead, they have been charged a cancellation fee. They have not even done anything so what are they paying for? Apparently, just filling in a form means you have entered into a contract that apparently, they could not send a copy of. They prey on people just ‘enquiring’. Even the replies to reviews from this company are abrupt and rude. Stay away. WHAT A SCAM

This company have just sent me a letter through a debt collections agency The first letter ! Claiming I owe them money from 2021 , I have never received anything from them before now . I am
absolutely furious! This is beyond ridiculous , they state they have sent me letters , I can assure u they definitely have not ! Why they think they can do this is beyond me . Disgraceful ! Don’t even know what they claim they were to do for me in the first place if anything ?

SCAM COMPANY. They'll only ask for your personal information to do claim against you in civil court, through work they've never done.

This company are complete scammers, despite their protests otherwise.
They told me they would claim back the interest on my PPI from any loans and that they would deal with everything so I agreed to let them.
Then came the calls saying that I had to sort something out with the bank for them, but due to my mental health I told them I couldn't do that and they decided to cancel the claim and charge me over £360 even thought the claim would of been lucky if it were even £100!
They have since badgered me and passed this on to a debt collection company and I now face a CCJ thanks to these scum bags.

I am harassed by this company for money I allegedly owe them. Every time I phone to try and sort this out the person I need to speak to is in meetings.

I had disappointing experience with this tax company. They asked me to claim for extra tax return and uniform expenses, but all they did was check my wage slip. After that, they refused to process my claim properly and suddenly sent me a payment of £108 without any proof or signed agreement from me.

I never signed any contract with them or gave permission for deductions, yet they acted as if I had. This feels dishonest and misleading. Please be cautious when dealing with such online tax services — they can appear legitimate but turn out to be scammers. Always verify who you’re dealing with before sharing your personal or financial details.

Cancel this people long time ago with my tax return with hmrc got my tax return direct from hmrc now they want me to pay them 700 pounds with a fake amount they assume I have received contact hmrc about this and they provide me with a letter that they never dealt with them and if I get treaths from them to contact the police for forgery so people don't ever bend down to this thifes and trust me guys they are under the rader by the police. Been told by the authorities.

This company is a scam scam scam. They tried to say that a phone call is a contract and if cancelled I would be charged £78 is company are fraud. They have insisted I pay and when I said I will go to court. They passed the case to the bailiffs how are trying to change me £288 . Please please please don't even phone this company this is a big rip off.

I clicked on a facebook add and filled out a form. Since then, these people have hounded me, calling me and harassing me and today the have asked me to pay £120 for cancellation of a contract that I didn’t sign. They have even claimed they are not on trust pilot but it’s same name and same phone number. I don’t know what will happen but I don’t have £120 to pay anyone for trying to scam me. Just leaving this here in the hope that others will see and not fall victims. I wonder how they have been able to operate for so long. Thieves

DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE. WEVE JUST PAIDED THEM £311.80 AND THEY'VE DONE NOTHING FOR US... PLUS THEY OWN US MONEY WHICH WE HAVE SEND THEM MAIL ABOUT BUT THEY ARE IGNORING THAT BIT. AND THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO COURT.

Well it looks like this is another waste of space company that lie and cheat their way into ripping customers off and charging them for achieving absolutely nothing. If this company ever contacts you in regards to claiming back money that may be owed to you please never ever use them. They do the bare minimum but always stress that it’s a no win no fee claim. This is a complete lie. I’ve just had to pay over £300 because they then sent a debt agency after me and threatening with additional court fees and non payment fees. Like I said they are cheats liars and an unethical untrustworthy company

As with all the other reviews , I wouldn’t give a single star for this rude, aggressive and appalling company.
I filled out , what I thought was standard enquiry form on a social media page advertising that I may be able to get a tax refund , to then be told on a phone call from this company that I had signed into a contract and that they had my signature ?! -the only reason they had my signature was because on the enquiry form it is stated that a signature was requested in order for them to approach HMRC with my permission - as a ‘letter of authority’ it is not clear that this also means you are signing into a contract with them?!. Any decent company would send you a copy of the signed contract - I never received this if I had it done I would’ve cancelled it during the cooling off period I didn’t even remember that I done the form until I started getting phone calls and text messages from them. The only phone call I had with them since signing the form, I was read out their set of terms and conditions - at which point I said ‘no thanks I’m not interested’. This is when I was told that I was in a contract and that I had no choice as whether to be involved.

I have since ‘cancelled’ even though I was completely unaware from the start that I was even in a contract - and been billed for £72 cancellation fee - not quite sure how this has been calculated for services not rendered? -apart from being bombarded with text messages and nuisance (unanswered) phone calls. After all, I had already told them on the initial phone call that I wasn’t interested after terms and conditions were read out to me by their operator.

Surely this isn’t legal? They must be making a fortune as it seems either way they obtain money for doing pretty much nothing! I have approached trading standards and so hoping they can help to resolve.

My advice -as with everyone else’s :!!!!DO NOT USE!!!! Very disappointed as this company lacks any sort of professional and competent customer service skills and has no interest in the customer -only their money.

Do your homework before you start any kind of engagement with this lot.
I didn’t but once I had I committed, only reading horror stories about FE .
Then they want you to do the work for them, hassle you whilst you are suffering from a mental health issue, hassle you while you’re away, accuse you of not wanting to help, and in the end up charging you. Been dragging on for 2 years.
Yeah they may have gave me a days extra grace to pay…Woo, good on them.

Horrible company to deal with avoid at all costs

Given 1 star because I can't leave a review without doing so. I received a letter from HMRC informing me that they had issued me a tax refund. They stated the cheque had been sent to Fredrick Edwards Limited (my nominee). I don't have a nominee for my tax affairs. As I have been unable to contact Fredrick Edwards Limited directly, I have informed the HMRC fraud department accordingly. I will have to wait and see whether the HMRC cheque can be cancelled and whether I can get any of the money I am owed. Looking at other reviews on this site, I don't hold out much hope of a successful outcome.
