We purchased a water container for the garden. The quality of the container was very good ant it was relatively easy to set up.

I have already made this review in response to the company's direct approach so please ensure that you are not in effect reading the same review twice.

In hindsight I would pay the additional £20-£30 (c. £500 product) rather than worry about whether I had made a mistake and ordered from a non-existent company. The order did turn up, albeit with some 'issues' but the main worries were lack of communication - due to the advertised phone number not being live, and website email and Facebook page message going unanswered.

Having missed out on a purchase from a known garden centre by a few hours I picked Frankton's purely on cost.

In hindsight, I would rather pay more and use a company that offers any meaningful way of contacting them or any updates as to order status etc.

The advertised phone number is not in use, the website contact us and facebook go unanswered - the potential stress is not worth a saving of £15 or £20 if that equates to 3% of the price elsewhere.

The website is suggestive of a long-term family business and paints a certain picture.
After a little retrospective digging the holding company was only recently incorporated, with a sole Director who appears to have other companies under their control. There is not necessarily an issue with this but to be it contradicts what I was led to imagine.

Perhaps I am odd but I won't knowingly do any business with a company that sets out to deceive or does not correct such potential misunderstandings.

Easy web site, good quality product, good communications and organised delivery. Nice and easy how it should be.

Avoid.
Placed an order for garden table and two chairs. The chairs have arrived. No table. Few weeks now. I have tried several times to chase this up. There is no contact number, having read other comments regarding similar issues, I wonder if there is a reason for this lack of contact number. I had an email reply from “Claire” and she acknowledged and apologised regarding my missing item, assuring me she would get back to me asap regarding this. It’s now been seven days and I’ve heard nothing else from them.
My advice, find your item elsewhere.

I have been waiting for over two weeks for my order to be sent and the worst part of the experience is not being able to contact the company. I have emailed twice with no response, I have tried finding something else on the web site that would enable me to communicate but the web site is Byzantine in its user unfriendliness. Have I been scammed? i was told to report back to the company if the rest of my order did not arrive by 7 June and it is now 9 June and still no sign of the missing pieces. This really has been a most disappointing experience and i feel that legal action is my only recourse for getting a full refund. Frankton's system for refunds is entirely dependent on their discretion, which must surely be illegal?

My arch was initially delayed and I was a bit concerned about not being able to find out delivery information. However, this was taken up by their team who were apologetic about this and went out of their way to rectify the situation. The product is substantial and really well made and now has roses about to bloom around it!

Quality product, prompt delivery.

Delivery was delayed without communication as to why or when the obelisk would be delivered. Chat functions weren't working and there was no response to the online form.
Eventually got a call back following an email informing delayed production of obelisk due to factory issues and was given a rough timescale for delivery.
Obelisk quality not great. Welding of rings leaves much to be desired. Will not be ordering from the company again.

Update: Frankton's has send a replacement obelisk free of charge.

I’m trying to chase an order I made two weeks ago but the customer contact number doesn’t work and their email response is auto-generated. Their online chat function doesn’t work either. I ordered a rose arch which was a wedding gift from my Mum. I’m very concerned at this point that I have been ripped off for £260 and this maybe a bogus company.

Easy to order. Good communication all the way through the process. Pleased with the product.

Garden frames arrived very quickly and securely wrapped. Great quality.
