Came out next day to repair the garage door quick repair done the engineer was plesent and very helpful

The staff on the phone were very polite, and promptly arranged for an engineer to come within 1.30 hours.

The engineer them selves were also very polite and willing to explain the issue as well as what could've caused it and how to avoid it long term. He fixed my issue withing 45 minutes and was on his way. Once the work was done I needed to get extra info from them which they were very happy to give. If I ever have an issue again I will definitely use them.

Came out to fix the door problem within an hour or so.Jordan came most polite and helpful and quickly sorted out the problem.He also offered useful advice on the door.Thoroughly recommended.

Fast and friendly service : arrived within two hours of making the booking and I’ve ended up with a garage door that’s better than it was to start with !!.. I was a bit shocked at the price but I guess it’s cheap when compared with the cost of a new door …

Pleasant interactions, I rang at 1400 and they came within 2 hours. Fixed my garage door that would not close. Pricey but got me out of a hole so I'm happy.

Called up to request a garage door repair, clearly stating what the issue was - door was closed and the handle was disconnected from the mechanism, so I needed someone to 'break in' to my garage.
I was advised that the engineer would attend in the afternoon.
I then received a call shortly after advising that the engineer would arrive in 45 minutes - 15 minutes before a work meeting I had scheduled, which would have been OK.
He arrived after an hour and 15 minutes, right in the middle of my work meeting, which then had to be rescheduled.
We discussed what needed to be done, and the engineer clearly didn't want to do it. He said there was a risk of damaging my door, and despite my saying I understood and was willing to accept damage, and describing what level of damage I considered acceptable, he was still unhappy.
He said he would call the office, discuss the job, and they would call me back with a price. He would wait outside until I had spoken with the office.
4 hours later, still no call from the office, and he had disappeared within 10 or 15 minutes without saying anything more.
I've since done the job myself with a single screwdriver in less than 30 minutes and with no significant damage to my door.
A total waste of my time.
Thankfully, this cost me nothing (yet) other than my time.

Very expensive (over £400) for a quick & simple replacement of a short snapped cable on an older style manually-opened lift-up door. Price estimate was quoted over the phone (not in writing) in a way which my elderly mother misunderstood, leading to great shock when the young engineer demanded payment and refused to leave the premises until bank transfer was completed. He didn’t even tidy up and take his cable offcuts with him! Upon contacting the company to give some verbal feedback on how they might improve their performance, the customer support person would not accept any responsibility for an unsatisfactory quality of service. Certainly won’t be using this company again.

We couldn’t be more happier with Toms garage doors there response to our problem was great. We needed a new motor for our garage door and they came the next day and after surveying both doors and giving us a price Mark the engineer fitted two motors in one day he was very efficient and tidy can’t praise them enough thank you Toms garage doors and thank you mark .

Efficient & friendly manner with which the whole process was managed. The initial call through to the office had the process easily explained to me. Kevin, the repair man, made me feel at ease, explained the problem with the garage door, then repaired it quickly & efficiently, whilst giving me the confidence in a "Job well done"! Would recommend.

No garage door job is going to be cheap but I believe the price was fair. We had a very speedy and efficient service indeed. The engineer was polite, pleasant and did a first rate job. I recommend this company.

Initial price massively overinflated. After saying no, an immediate 10% discount. Still said no, and then after a further call price came in 60% of initial quote. Disappointing service. Cannot be trusted. Engineer was polite and did a good job, but clearly over quoting for work. Poor.

Daylight robbery over £200 to replace a wire 20 minutes on job should be ashamed of yourself

The engineer who attended, Mark was very pleasant, polite and professional, on time and got my up and over door working very quickly.
What I would advise to take note of is that this is a national company with engineers coming from long distances away - two and a half hours in the case of Mark today. Also be ready to haggle on price. I was initially quoted (by a call centre phoning me while the engineer was here) with an extraordinarily high price which subsequently reduced by about half, to what I felt to be fair after I’d said I would look elsewhere.
That said a very good job done and with a 1 year guarantee.
