We reached out to FoundCapital regarding potential investment. From the moment of submission, right through to the decision, the communication was first class. My start up, GRPZ Sports reached out to Found Capital as we were seeking investment for our upcoming pre/seed round. Although we were unsuccessful, they provided us with some detailed feedback as to why, and gave us a blueprint of what we'd need to prove to ensure we are next time. When raising investment, you'll get a lot of straight up no's, just hearing why makes a huge difference.

As we're currently raising for our startup, approaching VCs/Angel platforms is daunting enough, let alone being left 'on read' (AKA ghosted), or being provided with the email "we're not progressing with your application, we're busy, so we're not able to provide specific feedback', leaving an inability to use constructive feedback/criticism to refine pitches

However, Found Capital, specifically Laurence, took the time to not only mention how we could align our pitch to be better and communicate aspects they would need to see more of, he took the time to mention what was positive too - which, to a first-time founder, is invaluable, in the best of ways.
